I’m currently working from home part-time so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I’m available weekdays and weekends during the mornings (10am-12pm), midday (12pm-2pm) and afternoon/night (2pm to 10pm) for walks and drop-ins. I also offer overnight stay both during the weekdays and weekends with dedicated morning and evening pet time.

I request a meet and greet before accepting to take care of your pet at your home to align on expectations. In this meet and greet, we would review your pet’s daily routine, dietary needs, medication schedules, and behavioral quirks. Also discuss home access, safety measures, and disclosing security cameras or household staff who may come by during the visit. For house-sitting, I will ensure consistent communication by sending daily updates with photos and summaries of how your pet ate, their bathroom habits, and/or how they behaved. I will also treat your residence with respect.

I have a 12-year old beagle-mix pup 🐶 who loves naps and going on sniffaris. 💚 I have cared for dogs and cats with separation anxiety, leash pulling, and reactivity from ages ranging from puppies to seniors. I’m familiar with basic obedience training and positive reinforcement techniques. I’m experienced in administering oral medications and managing complex feeding schedules. 🩷 Every pet gets personalized attention. Whether your dog has high energy and needs a long, brisk walk, or your cat prefers quiet companionship and feather wand playtime, I adapt my visits to your pet's needs. 🩵 For walks: I follow your routines explicitly to ensure a stress-free experience. I avoid off-leash areas, enforce strict safety measures on walks, and practice safe socialization. 🧡 For house-sitting: I know how hard it is to leave your fur babies. First of all, Yaritza, thank you a million times!! Yaritza took excellent care of my pets and my home! They kept great communication, with regular updates and lovely photos of our beloved dogs, cat and they even took care of our bird & fish! I can't say enough great things about Yaritza. They also kept the dogs pretty active, and the pets seemed very happy! Yaritza also took extra care during a storm, and checked in with me to see if there was any necessary steps to take on the terrace, and secured my outdoor cushions. That was incredibly thoughtful! My home was in perfect shape when we returned home. Great to get home and be able to just relax. Thank you again Yari! I highly recommend booking Yaritza, I will definitely re-book them for future needs!
Yari is the person you want to watch your pups! They are attentive, patient, and kind with the fur babies. Animals somehow always gravitate towards Yari even the ones that aren’t usually friendly. Yari has been watching my baby for over 10 years and I would recommend Yari in a heartbeat. Yari pays attention to detail and always asks questions when I don’t leave the most detailed instructions. They also send me quite a bit of pics so I know my fur baby is alright.
Yari is a great cat and dog caretaker. They are a very attentive and compassionate person. Yari has cared for my dog Jonah in the past and they always go above and beyond. Jonah is a very scardey pup and Yari was able to make him feel safe and confident. Would highly recommend!
