Hello there! I am providing all kinds of Pet care. I am an experienced professional, providing a safe and loving home when you are away. Fun walks and drop ins! I have 25+ years of experience in training & caring for pets including all kinds of dogs, cats & horses. I have volunteered in dog & horse rescue, managed a barn for 6+ years and owned my pet care business back when I lived in CA. I am now available for walks, boarding and visits locally in North Jersey. I also do pet photography as a hobby so I take lots of photos and love sending them to owners to share our awesome time together. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friends! So grateful that I had Star as a sitter! Great communication, plenty of updates and pics. Her pup and mine got along famously, which really sealed the deal for putting Star on my roster of repeat sitters.
Star was fantastic! I’m always nervous to use someone new, but right from the start Star was wonderful! She invited us for a meet & greet, answered all of my questions, and was super nice. She watched my 2yr old Goldendoodle for a week & I felt so comfortable! I could tell from the pics and when I picked him up that my pup had a great time! I highly recommend Star & will be booking again with her soon!
Star was really great with my little dog while I was away. She communicated very well and has a beautiful close connection with animals. She made me feel very comfortable leaving my dog with her. I wouldn't hesitate to leave my dog with her again if needed.
We chose Star to care for our 8 YO Lab Mix, Stella, due to her background in caring for live stock as well as canines and a variety of other domesticated animals. Stella has been boarded several times before and does well with a care taker who naturally demonstrates affection and understanding of the dog's needs. We saw those traits in Star during our Meet and Greet and in the daily photos and texts sent to us daily. We remained pleased to see photos of Star comforting Stella while we were away on holiday. Aside from tending to Stella's basic needs, medication was administered as requested on a daily basis. Star's air conditioned, comfortable home was a prerequisite as we wanted Stella to feel at home while being cared for by someone other than her Owners. Should our travels require Star as Stella's next care taker and boarder, we would not hesitate to request her services again.
We were nervous about leaving our boy for the first time since the pandemic but Star was wonderful. She asked insightful questions as soon as I reached out and as soon as I got to her place I was at ease. Will definitely use again!
