“Lauryn took excellent care of our Gemma. She was very communicative and gave our puppy girl plenty of exercise and plenty of love. We look forward to boarding Gemma was Lauryn again.”

“We were so delighted with the care our pup Coach received during his stay with Enis. It is always a bit nerve wracking trying a new pet sitter, but I could tell from the photos that Coach was relaxed and happy and well exercised too! When it was time to go home he was happy to see me, but he was happy to be around Enis as well, which I take as a great sign. We will definitely book with Enis again.”

“Tae is an excellent dog sitter! Our pup Loki has separation anxiety, but took to Tae quickly and seemed to settle in very nicely. Tae was great with communications, and sent frequent updates and pictures, so we were completely at ease while we were away. Thank you so much! We and Loki appreciate your care!”

About: I’ve taken care of puppies, senior dogs, sick dogs, dogs of many breeds and sizes. I currently have a dog of my own as well. I will give your dog all the attention he/she needs. We can play, do basic training, feeding, cuddles, walking, you name it, I’ll do it. I have a dog of my own (Cashew) and he’s super friendly with other dogs. I have 3 different dog beds (see pics) and plenty of toys that Cashew’s willing to share. I will keep an eye on your dog at all times to make sure it’s safe. I will send you as many pics and videos as you’ll allow me to.
“Randi is the best petsitter you can ever get or hope to get! I had to go away for a all week and this was my first time ever leaving my cat with a stranger and in a different house. Before leaving I was a little anxious since my cat is not used at all to be with other people but for the all trip Randi sent me pictures of my cat and kept me posted about how it was going. She literally went above and beyond and I could say from the pictures that she sent me and also when I went to pick up my cat, how good she was with him. I have to say that my cat doesn’t get comfortable with people easily and literally when I went to pick up my cat, he didn’t even wanna leave her place anymore lol She also made sure that he was eating enough and had enough water every day. Randi went to buy extra food and litter without even me asking her to do so, just to make sure that my cat had all he needed. She was super caring and nice with him the all time. Honestly I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend her for your pet. You will be very happy to leave your hairy friend in good hands. Thank you so much Randi. I will certainly book her again.”

“Yuberkis is AMAZINGGG! She was a Godsend for being able to take Gizmo last minute and communication was always easy. He stayed with her for 3 days and I received pictures and videos during his whole stay. I loved seeing him play with his other doggy friends. It's obvious that she loves dogs and takes care of them like her own. 1000% recommended and will definitely be a returning client.”

“Liz and Oleg and their kids were great with my pooch. She felt right at home at their house. Liz sent me photos throughout the day so I did not worry about her at all.”

“This was my first Rover experience and it could not have been better. Ashley sent photos of my dog throughout my trip away, so I was never worried. Ashley was incredible, attentive, and so communicative. I would definitely reccomend this service, as well as Ashley, to anyone!”

“Imari is amazing! This was the second time she watched my pup and it really does feel like she loves him like her own, which is more than I can ask for. She is super communicative and I received daily pictures and updates. Would definitely book with Imari again and would highly recommend her!!! Thank you Imari!”

“My dog Simon had a wonderful time at Stephanie's home. We took a 7-day getaway, so we were nervous about how he would do. Stephanie kept us updated daily, which eased our worries, and she sent many pictures. Simon didn't miss love or hugs and felt at home. He also made friends with her dog. Thank you for caring for our Simon! 🤗”

“Cristina is an excellent petsitter. From the moment we met her she was very sweet and affectionate with Daphne. I was worried because Daphne is a very energetic dog but Cristina knew how to handle her and Daphne had a lot of fun with her. She went for walks 3 times a day, she received a lot of love. Without hesitation I will leave Daphne with Cristina again.”

“Our experience with Mary was EXCELLENT. We had to leave Royal with her for the first time while on vacation because our regular dog sitter was unavailable. Of course we were anxious. Well, she made us feel very safe leaving Royal. She sent us regular updates. She kept him on his feeding and walking schedules. Most of all, Royal was HAPPY. She was caring and you can tell she genuinely loves dogs, not just sits for the money. I will be using Mary in the future and if anyone needs an EXCEPTIONAL dog sitter do not hesitate to use Mary. Your dog will be on vacation while you are too!. I highly recommend her without reservation.”

“Binta could NOT have been better. Igot wonderful pictures of my dog, looking comfortable and content. My "pup" is 9 years old and has not ever been away from me for more than 1 day. A bond was instantly formed. I felt very comfortable leaving Perdita with Binta. It was perfect.”

“Marcy was amazing. She kept us updated consistently. She was super nice and patience. This was our first time using a non family sitter and she was great. Our dogs can be super anxious and she got them comfortable and happy in no time. Thank you so much, Marcy!”

“Being a first time Rover subscriber, I was very anxious and worried about leaving my precious babies to someone whom I haven’t mer yet.I went to look at many sitters and their reviews.Michelle understood my queries, her gracious response regarding my trepidations proved what a kind and caring person she is.She sent me photos and videos, kept me updated and treated my babies like hers.Another bonus is her adorable and ever so gentle baby (dog) Delilah who was ever so patient and playful with my babies. My babies were with Michelle and Delilah for 11 days and that was the best decision that I have made.I will definitely come back and ask Michelle to take care of them whenever I’m out of town.Being a furmom herself, she will treat any pets like her own.I can telll my dogs liked her a lot and that makes me feel at ease. We had a great experience all around with our booking with Lisa. Her accommodation to provide a safe and welcoming home for our dog was more than satisfactory! She is a professional. I am hyper vigilant when it comes to my dog, and Lisa addressed and reassured me of my every concern. There was an immediate connection between our dog, Lisa, and her family. I highly recommend Lisa for the excellent service that she provides!
Amazing dog sitter! She was friendly, flexible, and clearly cared about my dog's comfort the whole time. She sent photo updates throughout the stay, which I really appreciated. My dog loved her instantly and was happy and relaxed the whole time. Highly recommend — will definitely book again!

Moonyoung and Sunhyung are AMAZING. This was our first time leaving our puppy with someone else and also our first time using Rover. They were so amazing with all of the updates and pictures throughout the day. They took our pup to the park and took him out of walks multiple times a day. They are also super responsive in case you have any questions or concerns. We’re so glad we found people who we can trust!

I booked with Carol for boarding my dog. She was fantastic! She took very good care of my dog and adhered to feedings, walks, play time, and all the fun things my dog loves to do. She communicated well with me and provided pictures and updates each day. I can tell my dog enjoyed his time with her. If I need to board my dog again, I will definitely be booking with Carol again.

Christine is great and very caring for my fur baby. She paid attention to Furball’s food and exercises. She also sent tons of great pictures and updates during the stay. Furball had a great time and made new friends. Very happy and I trust her to sit Furball in the future. Thank you Christine

Christina was so communicative and Neptune seemed very well looked after while I was away for a week. When I described Neptunes potential reactivity she took it all in stride and he did very well while he was there, which I’m so grateful for. I will definitely use her services again!

Sandra and San were absolutely exceptional with our dog, Luna. From the moment we met them, it was clear they genuinely care about the animals they look after. They went above and beyond in every aspect of Luna’s care. Their attention to safety and protection gave us complete peace of mind, and they took the time to learn every detail of her routine—from her meal schedule to her individual needs and preferences. They even asked for our veterinarian’s name and contact information in advance, which showed how prepared and responsible they are in case of an emergency. Throughout Luna’s stay, we knew she was in loving, capable hands. The level of care, professionalism, and genuine affection they showed her exceeded all of our expectations. We couldn’t recommend Sandra and San more highly. If you’re looking for people who will care for your dog as if they were their own, look no further. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of Luna—we will absolutely be booking with you again!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
