I have a somewhat flexible schedule for my job. I walk the dogs in the morning and leave around 9am and am usually back 3pm (Monday-Wednesday). When I come home in the afternoon I give the dog another walk as well as their evening walk. I am pretty flexible and am present most times and I am very free from Thursdays through the weekend.

This depends on the personality of the dog. If the dog loves being pet, they can hang with me on my couch where they are pet. If they love playing I throw the ball around with them. I am attentive to their food and drink and talk to them 😂 and let them know how cute they are. Every dog is different in what they like and need for their care. So that is something that is discussed before hand with the client.

Information Carol P. would like to know about your pet
I like to know their general habits and schedule are especially for my first time clients. What they like to play with, what makes them scared or nervous, what they like to eat (some families bring extra special treats for them). Any particular behavior I should watch for. How to comfort them and if there is something they particularly do not like.
A typical day
I start with their walk or food in the morning (depending on the need), then a little play time or cuddle time before I go to work. I come home then give them another walk, If the weather is nice, this is usually a longer walk with lots of sniffing time and if allowed a treat after their walk. We come home for a drink of water and some play time with their toys. I check the food and water. Then later I prep their dinner, and go for another walk in the evening. Night time are for lots of pettting and cuddling.

Making dogs feel at home
Pet care experience
I have been watching dogs for 7 years now and have a special spot for elderly dogs, and dog that are anxious. But I have experience with a wide range of ages and breads. I have experience with dogs with anxiety as well as giving oral medication to dogs and have many repeat owners coming to me. They all feel loved and special at my home. Which is why I only watch one dog at a time to give my full attention to them as well as it helps most anxious types to be alone. I also love giving dogs a bath if the owner is ok with it AND the dogs are ok with it 🙂
Reviews

Carol is an amazing pet sitter! Her care was exceptional, and she made communication so easy with adorable photo updates. My dog clearly had a wonderful time with her. She's professional, reliable, and truly warm-hearted. Highly recommend!

At Meet & Greet, Carol (& family) were warm and showed interest in providing great care by asking relevant questions about my pup. Her home was ideal as she had no other dogs and had older kids. She sent me updates with photos (always a great thing), and we picked up a happy dog. I felt comfortable leaving my dog in her care.
Carol did great with Winks. She sent pictures and in each of them, Winks looked like she felt at home. When we picked her up after our trip, Winks finished up all her wet food. She didn’t even pee on her pee pad which means she was walked frequently. My family and I would be happy to bring Winks back to be cared for by Carol. Thank you Carol!
Carol was great! Zoro loved his stayed with her and I would definitely recommend!
