Pet care experience

WFH Sitter | Home Away From Home 🐕

I’ve grown up around animals my entire life, with three cats and dogs always being a big part of my family. Over the years, my family has owned dogs both big and small, including a German Shepherd and a Cavapoo, so I’m comfortable caring for pets with different personalities and energy levels. I’ve also cared for pets at every stage of life, including playful puppies and kittens as well as seniors who need medication and extra patience. Through caring for pets belonging to family, friends, and neighbors, I understand the importance of following each pet’s routine and helping them feel safe and comfortable in a new environment while their family is away. I work from home, allowing me to provide plenty of attention throughout the day while keeping your pet’s schedule as consistent as possible. I live in a two-bedroom with a fenced-in yard and space to relax and play. I’m also active and happy to provide walks, playtime, cuddles, and one-on-one attention during their stay! 🐾

I've known Sarah for years and she's always been very reliable. She always dog sits when I am out of town and makes sure my pup is well taken care of. I am really happy to know Sarah, as she is great and provides updates throughout every stay!

Safety, trust & environment

I have a quiet, comfortable two-bedroom with a fully fenced-in yard and plenty of space for your pet to relax and feel at home. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I am happy to adjust the care to what makes them feel most comfortable. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment while you’re away.

A typical day

I love keeping pets active, entertained, and comfortable while tailoring our time together to what they enjoy most! For dogs, that might include neighborhood walks or trips to the park, backyard playtime, fetch, enrichment toys, or plenty of cuddles and relaxing downtime after a busy day. For cats, I’m happy to bring out their favorite toys and keep up with even the most energetic ones! We can enjoy wand toys, chase games, treats, enrichment activities, or simply spend quiet time together. I know some cats would rather curl up beside you or watch the world from a window, so I’m always happy to follow their lead. Every pet has a unique personality, so I’ll adjust our activities to match their energy level, routine, and favorite ways to play. 🐾

Before their stay, I’d love to learn a little about your pet’s normal routine, personality, and what makes them feel most comfortable! Please let me know about their feeding and bathroom schedule, favorite activities, medications or special needs, and any behaviors or triggers I should be aware of. For dogs, I’d also like to know how they typically behave on walks and around other dogs or people. For cats, it’s helpful to know whether they’re social, shy, independent, or have any favorite hiding spots or routines. Most importantly, let me know about any little quirks, favorite things, or house rules you follow at home. The more I know about your pet, the easier it is for me to make their stay feel familiar, safe, and comfortable.
