About: Hi, I’m Miru. Dogs genuinely make my day :) I have 10+ years of experience in dog walking, house sitting, and drop in visits. Here to give your pup the care and attention they deserve. I currently share my home with a 14 y.o. Maltese, so I have a soft spot for seniors and know how to care for dogs at every life stage. Their happiness is the whole point! I’m a recent graduate from Virginia Tech’s agricultural & applied economics masters program. If necessary, I am experienced in crate training and can provide a secure and comfortable space for your dog if you prefer them to be crated while I am caring for them. “I felt comfortable with Yvette right from the start. She is personable and knowledgeable about dogs and my pet Dallas liked her immediately. I had her stay overnight for a week while on vacation. About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 10 when I got my dog. I joined Rover 3 years ago and have experience walking, feeding, playing with, and caring for various types of dogs. I care for every dog as if they're my own! I just got home from college and am looking to make some money as I take a remote class this summer. That being said, my schedule is pretty open and flexible! I am very respectful of other's spaces and make sure to follow instructions carefully. I pay attention to detail and am a high energy individual. I truly love dogs so much and am happy to help take care of them when owners' lives get busy.

About: I have taken care of two golden retrievers of my own. I have experience working with puppies as well as larger sized dogs. I love playing with dogs and making sure their needs are met. I’m currently working at a school and will have more availability this summer to take additional clients. I am available in the afternoon and evenings. I thrive off of detailed explanation from pet parents on how to make their fur babies more comfortable while their parents are away. I make sure to leave everything clean and tidy after my service is complete.

About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats since I was a kid, multiple times my family and I have taken care of other people’s animals, including dog sitting and dog walking, along with cat sitting for months on end. I’m currently not working, and the only dates I cannot do this summer is July 1-5, and August 1-9. Other than that, it works into my schedule perfectly I take my dogs on walks and train them, I make sure they’re always fed and have clean water, I’m attentive to their needs as best as I can, I make sure to play with them and occasionally groom them if needed (not a professional), and I do the same with my cats along with cleaning their litter boxes regularly

“Ellie was an excellent dog sitter. She arrived on time , even when we changed the time for her to come sooner. I explained to her that our dog is still new to us and in mid-training, so she should expect the walks to be difficult and she should keep them short. While we were out, she gave us constant updates, and told us he was actually doing great on walks and they got to explore, which meant he had a really good time even though we were out. When we came back he seemed so fulfilled! Also Ellie is awesome herself and knows a lot about the Westchester area. Highly recommend.”

About: I have had my beagle for over 9 years now and have trained him, as well as walk and feed him! He means the world to me, I have also babysat while watching two golden labs! I love dogs of all sizes, breeds, personalities, etc! I am currently volunteering at a senior home so my schedule is mostly open for night walks or home check ins more towards the evenings/night! When I know I am going to be out for a good amount of time, my beagle does go in a crate so I am capable of doing that if preferred!

About: I started my experience dog walking 2 years ago for a professor’s friend in Winchester, Virginia. Twice a week, I would walk her hyper pups. She then recommended me to her father, whose dog I began walking twice a week as well. From there, my mini business boomed through word of mouth. I began dog sitting in people’s homes as well for multiple individuals for varying time spans. Most of the dogs I interacted with were seniors and required extensive care. However, all dogs owners loved and recommended me to others! I still walk the original dogs and add in others as my schedule allows with two other jobs. I am sad to leave my extensive clientele in Winchester, but I am moving back to New Jersey for graduate school and excited to meet new puppy friends!! For the summertime, I am incredibly flexible with nothing planned. I prefer weekly walks / drop ins, but also like sitting as well. In August, I start physical therapy school at Columbia University so my availability will decrease but I’d be willing to provide services on nights / weekends. During breaks, my availability will open up again! Whenever walking / sitting, I respect the owner’s rules, no matter what. I long to maintain utmost cleanliness and adherence to routine as physically possible. I am also very communicative and honest, building trust with my clients.
