“Ceecee was amazing! She was able to accommodate us extremely last minute to home sit our senior dog. She took great care of our dog and was able to keep up with all his medications. Our apartment was in phenomenal condition when we returned. We will not hesitate to book Ceecee again.”

“Amanda was great! She looked after my little dog who has separation anxiety and she took great care of him while I was gone. She sent pictures to assure me that he was doing good, and she was very kind, respectful, and professional. I would highly recommend her and I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Maybelline was exceptional. She took great care of our home and our corgis. She was very prompt, had great communication and shared lots of photos while we were away for the weekend. We will absolutely look to work with her again next time we are looking for a home/dog sitter while we are away.”

“My husband and I just came home with 2 puppies and were worried for our first day back to work. Mia made sure we had nothing to worry about. She texted us all day, sent photos, updates, provided above and beyond care to our puppies and is the most caring and kind person. We are so thankful we found Mia and are so lucky to have such a wonderful person to watch our pups with full care and attention for our 10 hour work days. She makes sure our puppies are safe and loved and we would recommend her to anyone needing excellent dog care.”

“Rachel was FANTASTIC with our 70+ pound Rottweiler/Husky with separation anxiety. She played and engaged with him when his energy was up, and let him lounge and rest when he needed it. We got frequent photo and text updates (and she takes really great doggy photos), and she even did an art project with him. He was happy and relaxed when we got home. Would definitely use her again for dog sitting in our home and might event try boarding him in her home when the need comes up. Thanks Rachel!”

“Wonderful , I was so nervous but Julia won over our dog immediately and she was clearly very happy during Julia's stay. The house was immaculate when we returned . Very highly recommend Julia”

“Stephanie was fantastic! Incredibly professional, knowledgeable, great personality and took absolutely incredible care of our active Aussie while we were away! She kept us updated with photos and videos and left the house and guest room immaculate! Cannot say enough positive things about her and I recommend her without any hesitation! She is hands down the best of the best!”

“Peter is such a well-spoken, considerate, and accommodating young man. My dog immediately fell in love with him, and Peter offered the care I would've given if I were home-- and then some! Peter not only offers exemplary pet care, but also conducts himself in an organized and cleanly matter. You can be confident that he will keep your house in pristine condition. I didn't ask him to, but he vacuumed, took out the trash, and cleaned the dogs' water and food bowl. I would recommend Peter to anyone with pet needs because you can tell he cares about the work that he does. His rates are fair, he is open to negotiate, and you can count on him to respond. Peter has set the bar for pet care, and pet owners should never have to expect any less. He sends consistent updates, and spends quality time with your pet. Without a doubt, I will be booking with him in the future!”

“Ellie did a fantastic job caring for our dog while we were out for the evening. She sent updates on how he was doing throughout the night to keep our minds at ease, and she was extremely understanding and patient when he had an accident before we left. We highly recommend Ellie to anyone looking for a pet sitter in the area!”

“Maryann was great with my German Shepherd. He's been going through some separation from me and his sister and she was attentive by his side. She cleaned up well after him as well and made sure he got walked or went to the doggy park. I would contact her again.”

“I cannot say enough about how wonderful Elizabeth is. She saved us with a last minute booking and stayed with our 4 year old lab mix Theo for over a week. She was respectful of our wishes (always checked about treats to give him, kept the house clean) and gave Theo so much love and care. She also understood his issues with excessive heat and kept him hydrated and safe. Theo adored her. And most important was cared for like family. Elizabeth rocks!”

About: Having booked several Rover sitters for my own dog over the last few years, I understand how important it can be to allow a pet to stay in their own home while you're away. The sitters I met through Rover were vital to my dog's well-being and becoming a better pet owner—I aim to return that same level of care back to others. My most recent pet-care experience was with my late dog Sonny, who was 11 when I foster-failed. I am most familiar with handling separation anxiety, mobility limitations, and other senior dog quirks, but have also cared for younger dogs in the past! Because I work remotely (9-6 ET M-F, variable on the weekends), I can stay with your pet full time as long as l have access to a Wifi network. Please indicate how long your pet is comfortable staying home alone for. If your pet enjoys being out and about, with your permission, I can transport them in my car, equipped with a pet backseat hammock, car leash, and bed. Maintaining a sense of routine and familiarity for your pet(s) remains top of mind for all the services that I offer. I will tailor my care to your pet's temperament and energy level. I am privately insured through Pet Sitters Associates (policy effective until Sept 2026) and have received Pet First Aid/CPR training at 92NY (New York, NY) via Lifesaving Enterprises LLC (Bronx, NY) (November 2025).
About: I've had a love for animals as long as I can remember. As a young child finding strays , cats or dogs and caring for them until the owners where found. Love these fur babies and will care for them like my own. I am currently unemployed and love animals and walking -perfect fit! My schedule is open to help when needed. Would love to schedule a meetup with your fur baby. Each pet has its own routine to be discussed prior to my care. Will follow the needs of each pet individually and any additional requirements as needed.
About: Experienced dog & cat sitting of all ages. I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I work from home 5 plus years now, I have the flexibility for pet care. I also volenteer at a local cat adoption place walking distance from my home I can feed, walk & crate furry friends and sometimes have playtime at a park if needed. Per pet, I follow their specific routine for feeding, exercise, and medication, while also ensuring a safe and clean environment. Communicate with the owner beforehand.
About: Lifelong animal lover with experience from pups, kittens to senior dogs and even more recently deaf pets. Was raised with cats, dogs, and even reptiles. Pet care fits naturally into my life. Recently lost my 13yr old senior frenchie. I do work full-time weekdays but am available for evening feedings, walks, and weekend care. My 12 yr old son may be with me many times as this is also his passion. Whether in my home or yours, your pet’s comfort and safety come first. In my home, while space is modest, I offer a clean, cozy environment with a secure fenced-in yard for play and potty breaks. I'm attentive and patient. I also have a 12 yr old son who can keep your pet active if needed. My son actively entertained our frenchie and provided those extra special hugs. There will always be room for love and play. In your home, I follow your pet's routine closely to keep them calm and happy while you're away.
“I was so nervous about leaving our dog. My hunting partner. After I met yvette that all went away. She cared for my Izzy like she was hers . Long walks and lots of attention. Def use yvette. I will be again soon.”

About: I have been taking care of my dog for about 7 years now, I have been feeding him and playing with him, I love them. I work a part time job so in my free time I like walking dogs and seeing other dogs and everything they have to give. I have a fence so he can play when he wants on the deck or if he wants a walk. If they misbehave I can crate them so they can learn.
About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 10 when I got my dog. I joined Rover 6 months ago and have experience walking, feeding, playing with, and caring for various types of dogs. I care for every dog as if they're my own! I just got home from college and am looking to make some money as I take a remote class this summer. That being said, my schedule is pretty open and flexible! I am very respectful of other's spaces and make sure to follow instructions carefully. I pay attention to detail and am a high energy individual. I truly love dogs so much and am happy to help take care of them when owners' lives get busy.
About: Hi! My name is Christina. I grew up having a Siberian Husky named Tonya and later a Bichon Frise named Daquiri. Pets have always been a part of my life. In my early 20's I took an incentive to relocate down south where I adopted Franky, a pitbull/husky mix puppy. Anyone who knows me knows that my world revolved around my dog. If my dog couldn't come, I wasn't going. 'You won't ever see Chris without that dog, who brings a dog to a hair appointment?" Yup.. that's me. Franky had such an impact on my life that she even was responsible for steering my career. Formerly regional leadership for Banfield Pet Hospital I was responsible for Learning and Development for the largest veterinary practice in the world with over 900 hospitals in 51 markets. (Annnd... Yes, my dog got to come to work with me!) My best friends and former colleagues range from medical directors within the veterinary field to Brandon Mcmillan from CBS Lucky Dog (animal trainer). There's no shortage of emergency contacts in my phone to reach out to which came in handy when Franky, my 17yr old Pitbull/Husky was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Almost 9 months ago now I made the heart wrenching decision to have Lap of Love come to my home and end Franky's suffering when it was clear she was losing her battle with cancer. It's bringing tears to my eyes now and I don't want to be the most depressing profile which leads me to you. While i'm not quite ready for another dog of my own as no one can replace Franky, I get so much enjoyment from being around animals that watching other peoples' pets has been healing and a source of comfort. I think it's safe to say I was a little over protective and needed my own pet sitter when traveling to and from headquarters in Portland, Oregon. At the time, Deb was a God send and I was so grateful to have found someone who understood me and my pet and I hope that I can be that to you and yours! I'm excited to meet you both! After leaving Banfield as a result of increased travel I went into business for myself. I currently only work from home and no more than a couple days a week. As you can imagine it can get lonely and I look forward to having your pet come stay with me. I try to stay active and walk daily to a nearby hiking trail. It's a good walk it takes about an hour and there is a dog park within the trail which is nice for dogs who get along well with others and are healthy enough to participate. Even when they don't get along with others sometimes if you go in the evening closer to dusk the park is empty and its nice to play fetch within the fenced in area. I live in an apartment but don't allow that to fool you, we have a huge courtyard and as I mentioned there is a hiking trail and dog park nearby to keep busy.
