“Jillian is such a nice person. As soon as she came into the apartment the cats warmed right up to her. Not always the way things happen. Her energy was calm and kind. I'd recommend her to anyone looking for help cat sitting.”

“Jorge was fantastic. We met before the stay to talk through what the cats needed and I was immediately happy that he was looking after our cats. They took to him straight away. I received pictures of the cats and in depth reports about how they were doing and it put my mind at ease that they were being well taken care of. I will definitely be using Jorge next time I need a sitter.”

About: I have experience caring for three dogs. One was named Maia, an Australian Shepherd who belonged to my aunt. She was very energetic, and I spent a lot of time playing with her. I also cared for a German Shepherd named Rex. Although he was calmer, I played with him frequently as well. The third was Mango, a very small puppy with lots of energy. I fed all three dogs the appropriate amount of food based on their weight and at their scheduled feeding times. I also took them to the park regularly, although I took Mango less often because he was still a puppy. I am available to work on weekdays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and I can also start as early as 8:00 AM when needed. During that time, I am happy to care for your pet by providing walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, and ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the day. If the visits involve feeding, I would stay with the pets to play, keep them company, and give them a little extra affection before leaving the owner's home—naturally, always within the limits and guidelines provided to me. As for walks, I would make sure to bring everything necessary to ensure the pet feels comfortable and has a good, playful time.
About: I’ve had my two cats for about three years now, and we’ve built a routine together around feeding, playing, sleeping, and everything in between. Every day when I walk through the door, they’re the first two to greet me. I make sure they’re always fed, clean, hydrated, well cared for, and most importantly, safe. I work full time during the week, so I’m generally unavailable during the day, but I’m usually free in the evenings after work and have full availability on weekends. I live in a two-bedroom, ground-floor apartment with a private, enclosed patio where my cats can safely explore outdoors without the risk of escaping. We also have an extra bedroom set up so they have their own space and time when they want it.
“Lili took care of our cat, Mishmish, while we were on vacation. She followed instructions to the T, and our elderly cat, who is usually pretty lethargic and not overly friendly, warmed up to her. We came back to clean litter box, swept floors, and our cat having fresh water and food. We will absolutely work with Lili again when we travel for extended period of time, and highly recommend her to any pet owner.”

“Jocelyn goes above and beyond! And our dog just loves her! It is clear Jocelyn treats all dogs like her own, and we are so happy to have someone we trust who our dog loves!”

“Angelique was amazing! She took great care of our cat while we were away, and sent a lot of pictures and updates during her drop-in visits with him. She's reliable and friendly and we'll definitely book with her again.”

“Our cat is in love with Ellie! She gave him all of the cuddles and love...along with food and his insulin shot every night. As a senior cat, Iowa needs special attention and Ellie is a great caregiver for our old pal!”
About: I always match the high energy of the pet, especially those with limitless energy! I am playful, empathetic, and great at cleaning after all pets. I have not professionally cared for pets but I have recently fostered a stray cat in my neighborhood for one week before bringing them into an animal clinic for proper care. Through this experience, I’ve learned that I truly care about pets’ well-being above all. I was enrolled in full time classes at the time, and was still able to complete assignments while showing attention to Grace (the cat). I was able to be productive while tending to Grace so this also proved to me that I am able to handle and juggle multiple responsibilities at once. I am not currently working a job and am in my gap semester, so I’ll without a doubt be present all day to provide the attentive care and fun your pet deserves I allow pets to explore the house with me next to them in order to create a sense of familiarity and comfortableness. There are multiple corners in my home where I can set up play stations for them or nap/cuddle sections! I also have a fenced yard in my backyard and quite enough room for them to play and run around to their heart’s content!
“This was our first time getting a cat sitter at first we were nervous but once we read the positive reviews on Jennifer’s profile we contacted right away. Jennifer was amazing with our cat Alejandro. He’s still a kitten and she played with him as much as he wanted to play. She’s really good at reading his body language and giving him affection. She took really good care of him and put our minds at ease while on vacation. We will definitely use her again our cat just loves her.”

About: New to Rover? Use code BIANCB29046 for $20 off your first booking. Hi, I’m Bianca—a lifelong dog lover serving Riverdale, Kingsbridge, Spuyten Duyvil, Yonkers, and Southern Westchester! I run a small, intimate boutique doggy daycare and boarding service, ensuring your pup gets plenty of personalized attention in a safe and stress-free environment. Unlike large, overcrowded facilities, I keep things cozy so your furry baby can socialize, play, and relax just like they would at home. I also offer dog walking in Riverdale and Kingsbridge. About Me: 🐾 Born & raised in Riverdale – your local dog-loving neighbor! 🎓 Columbia grad & triathlete – active and attentive, so your pup gets plenty of love and care. 🐕 Experienced dog mom – I know how important safety and trust are (especially for pups who love to snack on random things!). 💼 Laid off 6 months ago – growing my small business while job hunting, so your support means the world to me! I know firsthand how stressful it can be to find someone trustworthy to care for your dog while you’re at work, traveling, or on vacation. That’s why I provide frequent updates, photos, and a meet-and-greet beforehand, so you feel at ease knowing your pup is in good hands. Let’s give your dog a fun, safe, and loving experience while you enjoy peace of mind. Message me to set up a meet-and-greet—I’d love to welcome your pup into my home! 🐕💛 ——————————- Standard Daycare: Standard daycare covers up to 10 hours between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM (8 am if you drop off, 9-10 am if I pick up from home) Extended Care: Drop-offs before 8:00 AM or pick-ups after 7:00 PM are welcome when my schedule allows and will incur an additional $10 per hour (or portion thereof). Overnight Care: Any pick-up scheduled after 8:00 PM will automatically be converted to my standard boarding rate, as it requires overnight care and accommodations. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine, especially since I'm currently working from home and applying to jobs, giving me plenty of time to focus on providing personalized care and attention to your dog alongside mine. I’m available 7 days a week with advance notice, ensuring flexibility and dedicated support for your pet’s needs. I have a dog-friendly home, as I own a pup myself, so everything is set up for safety and comfort. My dog is the friendliest cuddle bug, gentle and playful—perfect company for your dog. I also have a crate available if crating is preferred for sleeping or when I'm away, ensuring your pet's routine is maintained while they're with me. I also will take many pictures of your dog daily and send them to you :) My home is a calm and dog friendly environment designed to help dogs feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Occasional barking, especially during play or adjustment periods, is completely normal and expected. However, dogs with excessive reactive barking toward people, dogs, noises, or movement may not be the best fit for my home environment. My home is a fully potty-trained household, so I ask that all dogs staying with me be fully house-trained as well. I completely understand that occasional accidents can happen, especially during the initial adjustment period in a new environment. However, repeated indoor accidents or marking behavior are not a good fit for my home environment and may result in an additional cleaning fee if extensive cleaning is required.
“Fallon was a fantastic cat sitter for our cat, Yuki. She was professional and flexible, accepting our last-minute request and handling a slight mix-up we caused with ease. She sent us daily photo updates, which made us feel completely at ease during our two-week vacation. We came home to a happy cat and highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve always loved dogs, and started walking them about 6 years ago. Now I’ve mostly worked with senior pets, usually medium sized dogs. I’m always eager to learn more about any animal in my care, and will stay in touch with daily updates. I’m almost always available, and I have plenty of time to give your pet individualized care and attention. If you need me, I’m there for your pet! I prefer to schedule a meeting to meet you and your pet before sitting for them. That way I’m familiar to them, and I can hear directly from you about any special needs, medications, habits, and things to look out for.

Marin went above and beyond taking care of Wyatt while I had two back to back days out of town. She was super accommodating of my last minute request, found time to do a meet and greet so I was comfortable, and went the extra mile to meet Wyatt’s needs. He’s an anxious boy still getting used to the city and Marin gave me thorough updates, cleaned up after his messes, and followed my instructions to a T. I really hope Marin becomes our go-to when I need someone to check in on him in the future.

If we could give Darianny 10 Stars we would. We have a newly diagnosed diabetic 12 dog. She wears a diaper and she needed to be medicated with insulin via syringe. Both of her needs were met with care, skill and love. She care for our dog fur babie E. and her sister P every day for 5 days. She was punctual, kind to our girls and never rushed her visit. Our dogs need to be fed and let out has well. We would highly recommend Darianny B. for your healthy pet, but more importantly, a dog who needs some medical attention. Darianny is a Vet tech, and that her even more valuable as a caretaker. We can't thank her enough and will used her again and again if she is available
Emmanuel is awesome. The buzzer at my building was broken so he stood there until someone let him in- every day during the holidays- while he had five or six other dogs to watch. Above and beyond, and my animals were fed, clean and happy when I got home. I won’t go to anybody else from here on out

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
