“I appreciated Ruchi’s extra care and patience while my Li Li is working on her separation anxiety. I think this is helping my little dog, make positive steps and gain confidence.”

“Jorge took excellent care of our cat while we were out of town, and was able to fit her into his schedule without much advance notice. He was very communicative and helpful (he even vacuumed up some litter!) and I knew our cat was in good hands while we were away.”

About: I’ve had a variety of pets including hamsters, birds, cats, dogs, and reptiles! I will be able to care for all. Can’t wait to meet your beloved animals. I work hybrid, so I go in person 3 days a week and remote 2 days a week. I’m also off on the weekends and can request 4 weeks a year to work remotely everyday. My schedule is really flexible and I will definitely follow any special instructions for your special friends. Let me know what works best for you and I’ll do my best to accommodate!
About: We are a family of animal lovers. We have a 10-year old Husky mix and an 11-year old long haired cat (but both stay in other parts of the house). Every time we go away we struggle to find trustworthy people to care for our pets and decided we want to help others in need. I work from home and my office is in the petsitting area so I get to spend all day with the pets and take care of anything they need. Our finished basement is sectioned off from the rest of the house and the pets have ample space to play inside, as well as a 1/2 acre fenced-in yard for their exercise!
“Ali was great! She was punctual and gave my 3month old puppy all the cuddles and zoomies a pup could dream of. She even snuck in some obedience training too! Will definitely be rebooking!”

“Jay is the best combination of professional and friendly. He takes excellent care of our dog who has mobility limitations, and I am sure he would also be wonderful with active dogs. He is clearly experienced and knowledgeable.”

About: Hi! I’m Jill! I’ve cat and dog sit regularly since I was a child and volunteered at local animal shelters as well. Available in NYC and Yonkers most days, just reach out! I’m currently working full time, so I’m most available after 5pm on weekdays, but am also available full time on weekends. I have some flexibility on weekdays during the day if a few days’ notice is given though! Cleaning litter box, playing, petting, refreshing water bowls and fountains, feeding dry and wet food and giving treats, walking, anything that you specifically do with them I’d be happy to do as well

About: All my life I’ve had a love for animals and my fair share of pets. I treat every pet like they’re my own, not just a job to check off. I pay close attention to their routine, behavior, and personality so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I’m very reliable with feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and keeping their environment clean. What really sets me apart is that I don’t just ‘watch’ pets. I actively engage with them, whether that’s playtime, enrichment, or just giving them the attention and affection they need. I am currently a stay at home mom, so I have a lot of free time to walk or visit your fur babies whenever needed! I responsibly care for dogs in their home by following routines, providing food, exercise, and companionship, maintaining cleanliness, monitoring health, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
“Lili took care of our cat, Mishmish, while we were on vacation. She followed instructions to the T, and our elderly cat, who is usually pretty lethargic and not overly friendly, warmed up to her. We came back to clean litter box, swept floors, and our cat having fresh water and food. We will absolutely work with Lili again when we travel for extended period of time, and highly recommend her to any pet owner.”

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember! I grew up with two dogs and was very hands-on with their care; everything from long walks to making sure they were always active, happy, and getting lots of attention. Since then, I’ve dog and cat sat for many friends and neighbors over the years, and I always treat their pets like my own. I know how important it is to stick to a pet’s routine and make them feel comfortable while you’re away. I work a hybrid schedule, so I’m available for pet sitting three days during the week and can be flexible based on your pet’s needs! I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and predictable environment for every pet. I’m very attentive on walks; keeping a close eye on surroundings, avoiding unsafe situations, and making sure your pet is always secure. In the home, I’m mindful about keeping doors closed, food and small items out of reach, and maintaining a clean, hazard-free space. I also take time to understand your pet’s personality, comfort level, and boundaries. Whether that means giving them space to warm up, sticking closely to their routine, or providing extra attention and reassurance, I adjust my approach to best fit their needs!😊🐾

About: No dog likes to think they're older than they are! I relate more to dogs than I do humans; I love the outdoors and the smell of food. Energetic but also like to nap in the sun. I've had three pups of my own who have since crossed over the rainbow bridge; a rat terrier mix, a big pitbull, and a Ridgeback mix. My current baby is a very high maintenance Frenchie. I’m a true animal lover & love all dogs! A quick walk and treat does the trick in regards to earning their trust. I’ve had experience with socially anxious dogs, and not so nice ones! I’ve also personally trained all of my dogs and have past experience volunteering at a local animal shelter. If you want to ensure your baby is snuggled, walked & properly cared for while you’re out, I'm your girl! Let's bark about it. Yonkers dog parents share their Rover experiences
Marin went above and beyond taking care of Wyatt while I had two back to back days out of town. She was super accommodating of my last minute request, found time to do a meet and greet so I was comfortable, and went the extra mile to meet Wyatt’s needs. He’s an anxious boy still getting used to the city and Marin gave me thorough updates, cleaned up after his messes, and followed my instructions to a T. I really hope Marin becomes our go-to when I need someone to check in on him in the future.

If we could give Darianny 10 Stars we would. We have a newly diagnosed diabetic 12 dog. She wears a diaper and she needed to be medicated with insulin via syringe. Both of her needs were met with care, skill and love. She care for our dog fur babie E. and her sister P every day for 5 days. She was punctual, kind to our girls and never rushed her visit. Our dogs need to be fed and let out has well. We would highly recommend Darianny B. for your healthy pet, but more importantly, a dog who needs some medical attention. Darianny is a Vet tech, and that her even more valuable as a caretaker. We can't thank her enough and will used her again and again if she is available
Emmanuel is awesome. The buzzer at my building was broken so he stood there until someone let him in- every day during the holidays- while he had five or six other dogs to watch. Above and beyond, and my animals were fed, clean and happy when I got home. I won’t go to anybody else from here on out

We couldn’t be happier with our experience! Jocelyn went above and beyond to care for our two pups while we were away. Her daily check-ins and photo updates truly put us at ease. We could see how happy, comfortable, and safe our girls were in every picture. She followed all of our instructions closely and was incredibly flexible throughout the entire stay. It’s clear she genuinely cares, and her calm, attentive approach made a world of difference. We’ll definitely be using her again, she’s officially our go-to dog sitter!
