Hello! My name is Patty, and I’m a lifelong cat lover who truly enjoys caring for animals. I have two cats of my own, Sol and Luna, both two years old, so I understand firsthand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets. I’ve cared for them since they were kittens, and I’m comfortable working with cats of all ages, from playful little ones to more independent adults. Pets have always been a big part of my life, and I know that each one has their own unique personality and needs. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to adapt to whatever makes your pet feel safest and happiest, whether that’s playtime, quiet companionship, or sticking closely to their routine. I’m currently a student at Columbia University, which gives me a flexible schedule. I’m also happy to help with small extras like watering plants while you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I pay close attention to their routines, whether that means sticking to feeding schedules, getting in plenty of playtime, or just providing calm companionship. I’m experienced with different personalities and energy levels, so I adapt to what each pet needs. Whether it’s long walks, belly rubs, or extra patience I am here for it. Your pet’s happiness and well-being are always my top priority.

Patty was an excellent sitter! She watched my dog for a long weekend and he clearly loved her. She also sent photos throughout, which I love to receive as a pet parent. My apartment was well cared for too. I highly recommend her!

Schedule
I am a full time student at Columbia, so I have a very flexible schedule. I am specifically looking for opportunities to pet sit over the summer when I will have the most availability, allowing me to stop by as often as you would want me to.

- Before caring for your pet, I like to learn as much as possible to make sure they’re comfortable and safe. Please share their daily routine (feeding schedule, walk times, sleep habits), any medical needs or medications, and details about their temperament (like how they are with new people, other animals, or certain situations). It’s also helpful to know their energy level, favorite activities, and any triggers or anxieties (for example, loud noises or being left alone for X amount of time). Let me know about any training cues or commands they respond to, as well as house rules you’d like me to follow. If your pet has any allergies, dietary restrictions, or special care instructions, I’ll make sure those are followed closely. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can create a safe, fun, and stress-free experience that feels just like home for your pet.
