“We love Rachel, was very attentive and stayed with Teddy for a long time each visit. Rachel let Teddy warm up them on his own time, but he got plenty of playtime, attention and treats. They also went out of their way to do things we didn't even ask for, like water my sad plants (I VERY MUCH APPRECIATE IT) and keep Teddy's food and litter areas even neater than when we left. Thank you so much again, we hope to be able to book you again in the future!”

“She is absolutely the best! She was supposed to drop in for 30 minutes, but she spent several hours and even took my dog to the dog park because she knew I’m overwhelmed with the bar exam and moving🥹🥹🥹 I can’t thank her enough and highly recommend her.”

About: While I'm new to Rover, I've spent years caring for dogs and other pets for friends, family, and neighbors. I've helped with feeding, walking, playtime, and giving pets attention while their owners were away. I understand how important it is to keep pets safe, comfortable, and happy. I'm dependable, patient, and excited to provide loving care for your furry family members. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I am available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays and have the flexibility to dedicate my time to walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and pet sitting. I enjoy spending time with animals and always make sure they receive plenty of attention, care, exercise, and affection while their owners are away. When caring for pets, I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being. In a client's home, I follow their pet's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I make sure pets have plenty of attention, exercise, fresh water, and a clean environment. I understand that every pet is unique, and I take the time to build trust and help them feel comfortable while their owners are away. My goal is to provide dependable, loving care and give pet owners peace of mind.
“Angela provided outstanding service in taking care of my cat, Finn. She sent pictures of him hiding under rugs and the bed. Made sure his food and water were full and that his litter was clean. I came back from a six-day trip and he was his usual goofy self like I never left! Thanks, Angela!! Five stars well earned :)”

“Randi was great! She Took care of our two cats while we were out of town for the week. She made sure to take photos and keep us updated with how they were doing the whole time!”

“Lana was a loving mom to our cat Aeva! Lana not only gave food and cleaned poop, she played and spoilt Aeva until she purred contentedly... Lana even visited her twice on a day where she had a family event and is not business minded whatsoever!”

“Melissa was so great with my two cats! One of my cats is super shy so Melissa made sure to note when she would come out or not. So it was really reassuring seeing her updates and pictures of them while I was gone :) And my cats were happy to have her around too!!”

“Javier took great care of my cat for two weeks and was always kind, reliable, and responsible. I truly appreciate his dedication and would definitely ask for his help again. Highly recommended.”

“I am so grateful for Lauryn watching my cat while I was away. She was very communicative, and she provided me lots of peace of mind since this was my first time leaving my cat home alone. I think my cat really liked her, because he would be meowing at me angrily if he didn’t. He seemed to adjust pretty well. Thank you again Lauryn ??????”

“Murray was an excellent cat sitter. He fed and played with my cats every day and even got my most timid cat to come out of hiding. He also took care of some minor things when I asked him like a camera the cats knocked over. I am really glad I hired Murray and Ana to take care of my cats while I was gone - and my cats were glad as well.”

“Pamela was very friendly and loving with our pet, was on time and as our dog got more accustomed to her (this was the first time), they even went on a little walk together 😊I would highly recommend her!!”

About: Well to begin with, I have experience walking numerous dogs since the day I could remember. My love for animals in general is immense, contributing to the positive well being of animals is my passion and being able to focus that into a career is something I would have never imagined simply by making sure dogs go when they need too. It all began by simply watching over my own dog, and then it lead me into walking my neighbors dogs and eventually I took it upon myself to walk others in the neighborhood. The first dogs I took care of was a chunky miniature pincher and a 70 lbs pit bull terrier, I am not prejudice towards animals specifically dogs since they are in my field and I have years of experience with different breeds of all sorts. As I am a new LLC on the rise I am in the midst of obtaining my ARC certifications for the health and general knowledge of animals, considering on a professional level I take this accordingly and not enough dog walking companies supply this for their walkers. Being trustworthy, reliable, respectable, caring and cautious are few of the many traits I carry and endorse for my business in which I believe are critical in the dog walking business. Every dog is unique, just like a person I would not want to disrespect their space and have them catch an unapproachable vibe from me. I like to make sure I build comfort and confidence with the dogs I will work with, considering not many may be comfortable with letting someone unfamiliar walk them, my specialty. Walking dogs for me personally is never something I like to do in a haste, I enjoy in executing my job correctly and efficiently. I make sure every walk is special at times they come back home with a better attitude than the dogs left in. My main goal for the dogs are exercise, safety, fun and making sure they are able to do their business enough. I am a full time dog walker and lifetime animal lover so meeting accommodations for him or her is never a problem. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile hopefully I gain the opportunity and trust of being able to walk your furry child! Taking care of pups is my daily life. I have my own pups so it comes to me naturally, to want to take care of others! I do this full time! First of all, i make sure the pup is as comfortable as possible make them feel as if the parents are home. I walked them as many times as possible, keep all their needs up to date & give lots of love.
“Tori accommodated my change of schedules and was very responsive throughout the booking process as well as the visit. I wanted to check in more than usual with my puppy since he vomited last night and Tori responded immediately with photos. My puppy was happy and calm when I came back. I would definitely book her again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - West New York
Natalia has been incredible with my dog. She’s reliable, responsive, and always on time, and most importantly, my dog is always genuinely excited to see her. She clearly cares about the dogs she works with and has been someone I can completely count on, both for regular walks and when I’ve needed someone to watch him. I’d highly recommend Natalia to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker or sitter.

Daisy was absolutely wonderful with Des. She was timely, communicative, attentive, and incredibly responsive throughout my time away, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was also very clear that she genuinely cared about him. She paid attention to his needs, spent real time with him, and treated him with so much affection and care. I came home to a happy, well-tended-to cat. She was also exceptionally respectful of my home and space, which I really appreciated. I would trust Daisy with Des again without hesitation and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, reliable, and caring sitter.

Always a pleasure to have Monica watch my little guy - he adores her! They always have so much fun and their play sessions are great for getting his energy out before bedtime. She puts together fun tunnel systems for him and he has a blast! Monica was fortunately available last minute when I had to attend a funeral out of state. Replied promptly which enabled us to book quickly and gave me one less thing to worry about while coordinating hotel, cars, flights...a lifesaver to say the least. Nobody I trust more with my cat!

We are grateful that we found Rebecca as a drop-in sitter for our fur-baby Raphael, who is a very affectionate cat that needs some company when his family is away traveling. While sitting for us, Rebecca sent us lots of pictures, scooped litter, played with him, and checked his ears daily (as Raphael is prone to ear infections). We plan to hire her again for a longer sitting!

Xinyu took excellent care of Chibi and Milo. She followed all instructions carefully and was very gentle with both cats. Extra patience was especially important for Chibi, who is very shy and tends to hide around strangers. She provided detailed daily updates and photos, which gave me great peace of mind. I felt completely relaxed knowing my cats were in such good hands. I would definitely book her again and highly recommend her.

Collin is awesome! He’s really thoughtful and offered to meet my puppy before the Rover booking date (without me even suggesting this). He’s super communicative if there are any time conflicts and leaves great notes about how my puppy did during his visit. 10/10 would recommend!

Julie is a wonderful person and an amazing caregiver to our two beautiful cats. Julie is on time, she takes excellent care of our two little girls when we are away and extremely thoughtful. Our cats get the 5 star service and we know how well our cats are taken care of when we are traveling. You will be very happy with how caring and professional she is. Book her you’ll be happy you did. Thank you, Julie.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
