“Rachel is amazing - we are so glad to have her take care of our cats! We have two cats - one is more friendly and the other one is very very shy. Rachel did a great job taking care of both! Would highly recommend Rachel.”

About: Hi, I'm Melanie! I'm a pre-veterinary student at Montclair State University, and I can't remember a time when animals weren't a part of my life. For the past six years my best friend has been my Border Collie, April. If you know Border Collies, you know they're incredibly smart, full of energy, and always keeping you on your toes. She taught me patience, responsibility, and how to notice the small things. April is family to me, and that bond made me want to share that same level of care with other families. I don't have a ton of sitting experience yet, and I know that can make trusting someone a little harder. That's why I'm always happy to do a meet-and-greet. It gives us both a chance to get to know each other, lets you see how I interact with your pet, and gives you the opportunity to ask any questions before making a decision. I believe that no two animals are alike, so I don't rely on one standard approach. I take time to learn each pet's personality and specific needs, and I build my care entirely around that. Friends and family would describe me as dependable, compassionate, and adventurous. I'd love the chance to become a familiar face your furry companion looks forward to seeing! My schedule is very flexible since I'm primarily focused on my studies, so I'm available most days for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays. I'm always happy to work around your schedule whenever possible. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable while you're away. You can expect regular updates, lots of photos, and a few smile worthy moments throughout the day. I'll make sure your pet's needs are met and leave your home just as I found it. If there are medications, feeding instructions, or any special requests, you can count on me to follow them exactly as you've outlined.
“Randi was great! She Took care of our two cats while we were out of town for the week. She made sure to take photos and keep us updated with how they were doing the whole time!”

About: I've taken care of many types of animals and have lots of experience with lots of pets including but not limited to cats, small and medium dogs, rodents, etc. for most of my life. Currently waiting for school, so i am able to petsit pretty much any day of the week +weekends and can start anytime after around 1pm. Willing to take dogs for as many walks a day as needed, follow any pet instructions and follow household rules. will always make sure all doors are locked, refresh water bowls and clean any messes as well as bringing in any mail unless otherwise specified.
“Laura did an amazing job taking care of my cat Himi while I was away for a week. In addition to taking care of the cat, she responds to messages promptly and left the house neat and tidy. I would trust her with my cat again any time!”

“I couldn't be happier with Brynne’s work! She followed all of my instructions to the letter and truly went above and beyond to make sure Harley was well taken care of. It was so reassuring to see how well she engaged and played with my cat during her time here— Harley absolutely loved the attention. Her communication was excellent and gave me complete peace of mind. I would gladly book her services again without hesitation. Highly recommended!”

“Lauryn is amazing! I just moved to the area and needed to take a trip I couldn't cancel and was in an absolute panic. My 16-year-old cat needs some medications and definitely a compassionate person, and I was so fortunate to find Lauryn. She was absolutely fantastic and very responsible. I'm also very iffy about letting strangers into my house but in this case I didn't need to worry about it at all because Lauryn left the place spotless. I would not hesitate to use her for pet care. I don't think you can find a better person!”

“Javier took great care of my cat for two weeks and was always kind, reliable, and responsible. I truly appreciate his dedication and would definitely ask for his help again. Highly recommended.”

“Angela was fantastic. Very clear communication, and took great care of my Kitty when it was the holidays & freezing cold weather. I will definitely be booking her again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I can remember.., I love animals they make me happy. I would love to help people out with taking care of their pets, walk them, bathe them, having play days etc, which is why I want to give Rover a try. I currently work at a doggie daycare, from 2pm-8pm, I’m available to walk/play/care for your pet in the mornings, and I can do boarding on weekends!! I don’t have a fence yard but I live near a dog park where I can take your doggies to. They will have my company always.
“She is absolutely the best! She was supposed to drop in for 30 minutes, but she spent several hours and even took my dog to the dog park because she knew I’m overwhelmed with the bar exam and moving🥹🥹🥹 I can’t thank her enough and highly recommend her.”

“Larry took care of our cat while we are away for a vacation and we’re extremely happy with his care and visits! He isincredibly professional, kept all of his words and very communicative. Our cat enjoyed his time together with Larry. We will definitely rebook his service in the future.”

“Lana was a loving mom to our cat Aeva! Lana not only gave food and cleaned poop, she played and spoilt Aeva until she purred contentedly... Lana even visited her twice on a day where she had a family event and is not business minded whatsoever!”

About: Animals have been the center of my world for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a household that hosted numerous foster dogs gave me hands-on, real-world experience with different breeds, behaviors, and energy levels. Today, that passion has trickled into my adult life as a dedicated pet caregiver. Whether it’s my own pets, family dogs, or a new foster pup, my lengthy experience means your best friend is always in safe, capable, and loving hands. Nutrition is important to me, so I make sure my dog is properly fed, but activity is equally as important. Everyday I fit a long outdoor hike or walk in for my dog! I am trustworthy with feed and keeping your pup active! I will walk, feed, play, and keep your pup safe. Whether we are in my home with a fenced yard, or at your home, your pup will be safe and happy!
About: I love dogs and understand that yours is part of your family. I have owned dogs for over 18 years (male german shepherd mix and female pitbull) and I know what makes them tick! I have experience walking fussy/reactive, even aggressive dogs, both big and small. I just can’t live without them. With reasonable notice, I am available pretty much all day long for dog walks and sits. I can always easily adjust my schedule and am very flexible when it comes to last minute arrangements. No issues moving dates around if my calendar is open. I have a fenced in yard and the house is plenty spacious. My goal is always to provide a safe and comfortable experience for your pet. About: Well to begin with, I have experience walking numerous dogs since the day I was born. My love for animals in general is immense, contributing to the positive well being of animals is my passion and being able to focus that into a career is something I would have never imagined simply by making sure dogs go when they need too. It all began by simply watching over dogs, and then it lead into feeding them and eventually I took it upon myself to walk them. The first dogs I took care of was a chunky miniature pincher and a 70 lbs pit bull terrier, I am not prejudice towards animals specifically dogs since they are in my field and I have years of experience with different breeds of all sorts. As I am a new LLC on the rise I am in the midst of obtaining my ARC certifications for the health and general knowledge of animals, considering on a professional level I take this very accordingly and not enough dog walking companies supply the same for their walkers. Being trustworthy, reliable, respectable, caring and cautious are few of the many traits I carry and endorse for my business in which I believe are critical in the dog walking business.Every dog is unique, just like a person I would not want to disrespect their space and have them catch a bad vibe from me. I like to make sure I build comfort with the dogs I work with considering not many may be comfortable with letting someone unfamiliar walk them, my specialty. Walking dogs for me personally is never something I like to do in a haste, I enjoy in executing my job correctly and efficiently. I make sure every walk is special at times they come back home with a better attitude than the dogs left in. My main goal for the dogs are exercise, safety, fun and making sure they use the bathroom enough. I am a full time dog walker and lifetime animal lover so meeting accommodations for him or her is never a problem. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile hopefully I gain the opportunity and trust of being able to walk your furry child! Taking care of pups is my daily life. I have my own pups so it comes to me naturally, to want to take care of others! I do this full time! First of all, i make sure the pup is as comfortable as possible make them feel as if the parents are home. I walked them as many times as possible, keep all their needs up to date & give lots of love.
“Sabina looked in after my baby Cassius and took great care of him! It was a last minute booking and she was more than accommodating with such short notice. She was attentive to his needs and did everything we asked of her! We’ll definitely book with her again!”

Jonathan was absolutely amazing with my fur babies and even my family. He went out his way to get some cans for them around the last few days and stayed in contact with me the whole time to keep me updated. He even left a good impression on our abuelita by chatting with her when they crossed paths. Just absolutely great, please do not hesitate to have Jonathan watch your babies. 💘

Tiffany is a wonderful pet sitter! She did 3 drop in visits for our dog Truman and she was on-time, attentive and very responsive! She has great attention to detail clearly loves dogs - she's an all-star! We look forward to having her back. Thank you so much, Tiffany!

Yarden was amazing!! I have never been so satisfied with someone watching my two cats. I could tell by the pictures Yarden sent that they were completely comfortable and happy with Yarden. It was the first time I’ve come back from a vacation where my very skittish cat did not have a nervous stomach. Yarden is sweet, caring, honest, and really listened to every instruction I had shared regarding my kitties. I am so happy I found her and hope she is available whenever we need to go out of town.

This was the second time Ashley watched my two cats, and she was wonderful once again! She was incredibly responsive, arrived promptly, and sent me fantastic photos every day. When I returned home, the apartment was spotless (despite my little girls being messy eaters and enthusiastic litter kickers), and my cats were calm, happy, and clearly very well cared for. I highly recommend Ashley and would absolutely book her again!

Micaela took such wonderful care of our two cats. She was great at communicating, was there when she said she’d be, and put in extra time to play with them and make sure they had good social time. What I appreciated most about her taking care of them was all the photos she sent. It was such a nice touch and made me feel at ease. And the litter box was spotless when we returned! Working with Micaela is a 10/10 experience and I would trust her with any pet.

Victoria is the first rover sitter I have booked with more than once and I plan to continue booking her! She is very thorough when taking care of my cat and so thoughtful of my space each and every day she is here. She is so kind and my cat warmed up to her so so fast. I could not recommend her enough and Peach is already looking forward to her next visit!

Maribel is a reliable and caring person sitter. Pickles seemed completely at ease and relaxed when I came back from my three days away. The kitchen was clean, dishes done, recycling, and garbage in its place. Maribel was very communicative, easy to reach and responsive.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
