“Randi was great! She Took care of our two cats while we were out of town for the week. She made sure to take photos and keep us updated with how they were doing the whole time!”

“I am so thrilled to have found Rachel as my kitties’ sitter!!! I just recently learned about this app. I scrolled through a few profiles, and chose Rachel because of her proximity and fabulous reviews. For my first booking, I had her come over to meet my kitties so we become acquainted with her together. I felt immediate comfort with her. My boy cat went up to her right away. He can always tell a person’s vibe from the first moment. She greeted us all with her warm smile, I then showed her around and instructed her on how they like things. She got right to it! She hung out on the floor with them after feeding them and scooping their litterboxes. Because of my anxiety, I have never left my cats alone over night with anyone, but that fear has gone! My family and I are now free to go on vacations and weekend trips together because of Rachel! She sent me pictures of everything she did and documented every step of her visits. When we got back home, I knew my cats were so content that they didn’t even get up from their cat tree to greet us. They looked at us and went right back to sleep. 😆😂😅 Thanks to Rachel, they were well fed and unbothered. 💞 I am looking forward to many more bookings with her!!”

About: I've taken care of many types of animals and have lots of experience with lots of pets including but not limited to cats, small and medium dogs, rodents, etc. for most of my life. Currently waiting for school, so i am able to petsit pretty much any day of the week +weekends and can start anytime after around 1pm. Willing to take dogs for as many walks a day as needed, follow any pet instructions and follow household rules. will always make sure all doors are locked, refresh water bowls and clean any messes as well as bringing in any mail unless otherwise specified.
“Lauryn did a great job taking care of my cats. One of my cats is usually very shy and hides whenever someone visits, but he quickly warmed up to Lauryn and even spent time hanging out with her. This same cat can also create a mess, and Lauryn went above and beyond by cleaning up. Lauryn also shared photos and detailed notes through the Rover card, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. I really appreciated her care and would recommend her!”

About: What sets me apart is that I genuinely love dogs and have had them as part of my family ever since I was a kid. Caring for dogs has always come naturally to me, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I understand that each dog has a unique personality and routine, so I take the time to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I also provide enjoyable, engaging walks tailored to each dog’s energy level and needs, making sure they get the exercise, attention, and fun they deserve. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in caring, reliable hands. I have a pretty flexible day job, which allows me to easily fit walks, drop-in visits, and pet care into my daily and weekly routine. Because of that flexibility, I’m also available for pet sitting when needed and can provide reliable care and attention throughout the day. When caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s home. I am very thorough and make sure each pet has everything they need, including food, water, exercise, comfort, and companionship. I pay close attention to their routines and individual needs, and I always aim to keep them happy, safe, and well cared for. I would apply the same level of care, responsibility, and attentiveness to my client’s pets as I do with my own.
“She is absolutely the best! She was supposed to drop in for 30 minutes, but she spent several hours and even took my dog to the dog park because she knew I’m overwhelmed with the bar exam and moving🥹🥹🥹 I can’t thank her enough and highly recommend her.”

“Javier took great care of my cat for two weeks and was always kind, reliable, and responsible. I truly appreciate his dedication and would definitely ask for his help again. Highly recommended.”

“Angela deserves her name 100%. She was an Angel” for my kitties and me. She took great care of them and their mishaps while I was away. Very supportive, caring and sweet during the very difficult time of the tragedy of losing my father. Always in my heart! Thank you Angela.”

“Lana was a loving mom to our cat Aeva! Lana not only gave food and cleaned poop, she played and spoilt Aeva until she purred contentedly... Lana even visited her twice on a day where she had a family event and is not business minded whatsoever!”

About: I’ve taken care of my own and other friends’ pets for several years. I take the time to get to know the pets I work with including what is healthy/enjoyable for them to eat and what activities they enjoy (ex: walks or play with pets). I’ve especially had practice with caring for energetic pets/ puppies. I work part-time as a medical assistant at a derm office, where I work 2-3 days a week. I have a flexible schedule if informed in advance. In caring for pets, I ensure that pets feel both love and comfortable in the environment that they are in whether that be by providing entertainment, lots of love, and a consistent routine. I always follow the rules and routines set forth by pets owners as they are the ones that know their pets the best and what will make their pet happy.
“Tori was amazing! She took all the toy carnage my dogs did in stride and cleaned up the necessary stuff. She followed directions, took them for walks, played with them when they had too much energy, and cleaned an accidental pee spot … which I cannot see. I’d hate to highly recommend her, then not be able to book her for dog care in the future ? Seriously? Amazing work. ?”

About: Hi my name is Elle. I am an animal lover, advocate, and a volunteer at a local animal shelter. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and have had a natural affinity for all kinds of animals. I have boarded dogs for both short-term and long-term stays (months to years). I understand the unique needs of different breeds and adjust care accordingly. I understand dog behavior, and needs-your dog is family, and I treat them as such. Full-Time, Dog Care - A Safe, Loving Home for Your Dog. Dog boarding is my full-time work and passion —caring for dogs is not a side job but a choice l've committed to for years. I provide round-the-clock care, ensuring every dog in my home is safe, happy, and well-cared for. I board a maximum of 1 dog at a time. My own dog is calm, friendly, and never interfere with your dog's care. All walks are on-leash, and I do not socialize your dog with outside dogs or humans unless instructed. Photo updates at least 3 times daily - so you can feel connected to your dog while you're away. I strictly follow your instructions, including feeding schedules, play preferences, and routines and only feed the food you provide, ensuring your dog's diet remains consistent.
About: Well to begin with, I have experience walking numerous dogs since the day I was born. My love for animals in general is immense, contributing to the positive well being of animals is my passion and being able to focus that into a career is something I would have never imagined simply by making sure dogs go when they need too. It all began by simply watching over dogs, and then it lead into feeding them and eventually I took it upon myself to walk them. The first dogs I took care of was a chunky miniature pincher and a 70 lbs pit bull terrier, I am not prejudice towards animals specifically dogs since they are in my field and I have years of experience with different breeds of all sorts. As I am a new LLC on the rise I am in the midst of obtaining my ARC certifications for the health and general knowledge of animals, considering on a professional level I take this very accordingly and not enough dog walking companies supply the same for their walkers. Being trustworthy, reliable, respectable, caring and cautious are few of the many traits I carry and endorse for my business in which I believe are critical in the dog walking business.Every dog is unique, just like a person I would not want to disrespect their space and have them catch a bad vibe from me. I like to make sure I build comfort with the dogs I work with considering not many may be comfortable with letting someone unfamiliar walk them, my specialty. Walking dogs for me personally is never something I like to do in a haste, I enjoy in executing my job correctly and efficiently. I make sure every walk is special at times they come back home with a better attitude than the dogs left in. My main goal for the dogs are exercise, safety, fun and making sure they use the bathroom enough. I am a full time dog walker and lifetime animal lover so meeting accommodations for him or her is never a problem. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile hopefully I gain the opportunity and trust of being able to walk your furry child! Taking care of pups is my daily life. I have my own pups so it comes to me naturally, to want to take care of others! I do this full time! First of all, i make sure the pup is as comfortable as possible make them feel as if the parents are home. I walked them as many times as possible, keep all their needs up to date & give lots of love.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - North Bergen
Joanne was perfecto. Brought her on at the last minute. She was super attentive and took notes on how to care for my 18 yr old kitty. She did a superb job and took nice pics and gave me a little description of all that occurred during each of her stays. Perfecto 👌

Jonathan was punctual and arrived exactly on time. Whenever he needed to adjust the schedule, he communicated proactively and made sure we found a solution that worked for both of us. Most importantly, he took great care of our puppy. Nori warmed up to him immediately, and they got along very well. It was clear that he genuinely cared about her well-being and made sure she was comfortable and well looked after while we were away. Thank you, Jonathan!

Tez is amazing! My cats were feral, so they take some time for them to warm up to people and Tez has taken her time over the years to become best friends with them. We can barely pick up our cats and she was just recently able to pick up one of them so I think that speaks volumes to how good she is with cats. She has also been super nice in watering our plants a few times and bringing up our packages while we are away. I highly highly recommend Tez, your cats are missing out if you’re not using her as a sitter! One of our cats was even on Lexapro for some time and Tez was really good with giving him pills.

Evelyne was very organized with our meetings and with all things related to Yuki (my cat). She’s super friendly and nice, and took great care of Yuki, which allowed me to enjoy my vacation and not feel as guilty about leaving my kitty behind. She also sent me a few video updates during my trip. Highly recommend!

Sophia was a gem! We were a bit nervous to use Rover at first, but Sophia put us at ease during our meet and greet. She was so great with our boys and it was abundantly clear that she was the right pick. Our boys took to her immediately, which was such a comfort to us. While we were out of town, Sophia arrived on time, sent pictures of our boys, and gave us detailed updates. We didn’t worry at all and trusted her completely. Sophia, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking such amazing care of our furry babies! We will definitely be in contact for our future trips!

Lauryn did a great job taking care of my cats. I really appreciated her care and would recommend her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment.
