I can't wait to meet your pup! 🐶🥰 I'm home full time on all holidays and school breaks, and my parents are home full time. My husband and I both have flexible work schedules, so we're in and out throughout the day, which means your pup is almost never alone. Between me, my husband, our kids, my parents, and our dog Frankie, it's a full house of animal lovers. We have a big backyard where the dogs can run and play, and we all pitch in to take care of them like they're part of the family. I keep each dog on their normal routine for meals, walks, and any meds. Our backyard gives them room to run and play, with supervise outdoor time. New dogs meet Frankie slowly so everyone feels comfortable. We can also do a meet and greet first so I can learn your dog's habits and personality.

About: Animals have been a big part of my life since I was a child. I have always loved dogs and cats and enjoy making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I studied Veterinary Assistant in my home country and worked for one year at a veterinary clinic. This experience taught me how to care for animals, pay attention to their behavior, and understand that every pet has different needs and personalities. I currently have a 2-year-old rabbit and a 3-year-old turtle, so caring for animals is an important part of my everyday life. I have a pet in Colombia whom I miss very much, and spending time with animals here brings me a lot of happiness. This is one of the reasons I decided to join Rover. I would love to spend more time with animals while giving them the love, attention, and care they deserve. I will treat your pet as if they were my own. I am patient, responsible, attentive, and always focused on making sure your pet feels safe and happy while you are away. 🐶🐱🐰❤️ I currently work from 7 AM to 4 PM, so I am available for pet care before or after work depending on the service and location. On Wednesdays and Fridays, I have much more flexibility and can spend the whole day with your pet. I am happy to work around your pet’s routine and make sure they receive plenty of attention, care, and companionship. 🐾❤️ When caring for pets in their home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their familiar environment. I carefully follow the owner’s instructions about feeding, walks, routines, and any special needs. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and make sure doors, gates, and other areas are secure. I also keep their space clean and organized. My goal is to give every pet plenty of attention, companionship, and care while their family is away. I work Monday - Thursday 9 to 5 twenty mins from home so I can come home at lunchtime to walk or feed your fur baby if necessary and I work from home on Fridays! I also wake up at 6 am every day so I can walk and/or feed your pet before I leave to work Mon-Thurs. Friday - Sunday I am home all day. I love snuggling and playing with pets so they can hop on the couch or bed with me or I can easily crate your dog if needed! I have waterproof protective pet covers on my furniture so that's all covered! Additionally, My dog had health issues so I got pretty good at giving him his pills with pill pockets etc! I also have my own large dog crate (42 inches). So no need to bring a crate if your dog requires a crate! I also have a large kitty litter tray.

About: I am a reliable person. If I say i’m coming, I show up. I think animals tend to warm up to me quickly because i’m nurturing. I am a writer, so I am flexible with my work from anywhere during the day, except for the days i’m filming and on set. I have a cat myself at home, i have a 2nd bedroom so i can always use the guest room for your animal if they are not comfortable being around a cat.

About: I have taken care of and played with my own, also neighbors and friends dogs and cats. I am extremely reliable and energetic. I have played with fed, administered medication, walked, brushed, cuddled and had taken pets to be groomed along with showing them unconditional love. I work part time also have a lot of free time and energy to keep your pet company, feed, walk and care for all your pets needs both young and older pets. I can only take care of hypoallergenic dogs in my home because of asthma issues with my spouse. We are a smoke free household as well. I do not have children at home or any other pets so all my focus is on your fur babies. I have a very walkable neighborhood and a fenced in yard. About: Hi! My name is Mark, and I'm currently a Master's student at Columbia University. I recently relocated to New York City and have been missing my cat, Zuko, and my dog, Jango, every day. I'm hoping to fill that pet-shaped void by caring for other people's furry family members through Rover! Dog Experience: I adopted my dog, Jango, about a year ago after fostering him through a local rescue organization. He was being fostered by my downstairs neighbor, and we formed an instant connection that quickly turned into a forever home. Like many young rescue dogs, Jango came with plenty of energy and a few mischievous habits—especially when it came to sniffing out unattended food (that's the Dachshund nose at work!). Since adopting him, I've invested countless hours into positive reinforcement training, consistency, and building good household manners. Friends and family have even commented on how much calmer and more well-behaved he's become. Because of that experience, I understand the importance of patience, routine, and prevention when caring for energetic dogs. I'm happy to reinforce the training and routines you're already using while providing your pup with plenty of exercise, attention, and love. Cat Experience: I adopted my cat, Zuko, when he was just 8 weeks old back in 2019 while I was in college. He's now a happy, healthy 6-year-old! As a first-time cat owner, I spent a lot of time researching feline nutrition, enrichment, and overall health to make sure he had the best care possible. Over the years, Zuko has had a few visits to the vet for urinary health concerns, so I've become familiar with recognizing early signs that something may be wrong and understand the importance of monitoring litter box habits. While he's now spoiled with an automatic litter box and feeder, I'm very comfortable caring for cats with traditional litter boxes, food and water bowls, and daily playtime and affection. I am currently a full-time Master's student at Columbia University on the Upper West Side, with classes Monday through Thursday. During the week, I'm available for evening walks, drop-in visits, or overnight house sitting after classes, and I'm happy to spend the rest of the evening keeping your pet company. My schedule is much more flexible from Friday through Sunday, allowing me to provide multiple walks, extended drop-in visits, or house sitting with full-time presence.
