My husband and I are longtime animal lovers who are excited to spend more time with pets now that I'll be starting a new work-from-home job with a flexible schedule. While I wouldn't consider myself a professional animal care expert, I do have hands-on experience caring for pets with different needs. I cared for my cat for six years, including managing ongoing health issues and medications, which taught me the importance of patience, attentiveness, and consistency. Earlier this year, we also fostered a dog in our apartment for two months and loved having a pup in our daily routine. With my new flexibility, I'm looking forward to helping other busy families with walks, drop-in visits, daycare, and overnight care when needed. I know how important it is to feel confident that your pet is in good hands, and I will treat every pet with the same care and attention I would want for my own. Audrey is a wonderful caregiver to my dog, Dakota. I am sure many dog parents reading this will understand when I say that I am very picky about who I trust with my pet. Because of Dakota's breed and unique personality, I need someone who can provide her with plenty of exercise, but not in a crowded doggy daycare environment where unfamiliar people are frequently coming and going. Audrey provides the patience, kindness, and gentle approach needed to keep Dakota comfortable and at ease. Audrey has cared for Dakota since she was a puppy, and now that she's almost six years old, I can confidently say she has been exceptional through every stage of Dakota's life. Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine now that I'll be working from home full-time. My flexible schedule allows me to be available for morning, lunchtime, and evening walks, as well as daytime companionship and overnight care when needed. My husband and I live on the Upper West Side near 75th Street and Amsterdam, so I'm best suited for clients within a short walking distance for dog walks and drop-in visits. For daycare or boarding, pets can be dropped off at our apartment during the day. For cat owners, I'm available for drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and general care for cats in the neighborhood. I understand how important consistency is for pets, and my work-from-home schedule allows me to provide reliable care and attention throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
In my home, pets would stay in our one-bedroom Upper West Side apartment with me while I work from home. We have a small private patio where dogs can spend supervised time outside if owners are comfortable with it. I'm happy to keep dogs leashed while on the patio or discuss safety precautions based on your dog's size and temperament. Because we live on the third floor of a walk-up building, dogs should either be comfortable using stairs or small enough for me to safely carry if needed. I do not currently have a crate or litter box, so owners would need to provide those if their pet uses them regularly. I strive to provide a calm, attentive environment with plenty of supervision, companionship, playtime, and walks as appropriate. For care in a client's home, I follow the family's instructions closely and do my best to maintain the pet's usual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, litter box care, playtime, and any other specific needs.
