“Janise was amazing! She took such great care of our dog, Chiara. She was very attentive, kind, and made sure Chiara felt comfortable the entire time. We really appreciated that she sent photos and videos every single day — it gave us so much peace of mind. When we picked her up, Chiara looked happy, relaxed, and very well cared for. We would definitely book with Janise again and highly recommend her!”

“Amanda was absolutely incredible with my mini poodle Mia! It was the longest Mia and I were apart (a three week stay), but I felt incredibly connected to her through the daily updates and checkins Amanda provided. She gave Mia extra love and specialized food when Mia got a little stomach bug during the stay. I highly recommend Amanda's care for your pet!”

“John is caring, reliable, and super responsive. What more can I say? Our terrier has been in very good hands with him--for two separate overnights as well as a seven-day stay.”

“Euitae was great with my puppy! Communicated with me well throughout the time, sent photos and videos. I felt comfortable leaving her with a new boarder and would work with Euitae again!”

“Ryan was so kind and attentive to Poppy!! I had issues with my travel and ended up being away longer than I was supposed to and he cooked food for her!”

“Mykala and her partner took great care of my dog Tails! It was a fairly last minute request for multiple days of boarding so I was very relieved to find good caregivers for him. They provided lots of updates and Tails enjoyed spending time with their dog Boots. I would book again!”

“Sabrina is incredible and took special care of my dog. She keeps in constant contact with photos and videos. This was my first time using Rover and I will definitely book with Sabrina again. 10/10 fully recommend her!”

“I could not have imagined a better sitter for my puppy, Leo. This was my first trip away from him, so I was a little nervous and didn't know what to expect. Wei was super communicative from the start. We exchanged many messages before my trip, and met in person so my pup could meet her sweet doggo ahead of time. I could tell right away that Leo was in good hands. I so appreciated all the pictures and videos of Leo while I was away. You can 100% trust her with your pet! We will definitely book with her again. Thank you Wei!”

“Dontae was amazing with Kira. I was abroad and needed someone to take care of her in a pinch and he was very accommodating. He regularly sent updates and made sure Kira was comfortable. His dog seemed to be very chill and got along with Kira. Will definitely book again, thank you again for your help Dontae!”

“Sanaz was so great for agreeing to watch Roscoe last minute. She sent update photos and messages every day. He also was in such a happy mood when I went to pick him up. Will definitely be requesting her again in the near future.”

“I just left my 2 y/o Yorkie boy for a couple of hours as an introductory experience, and he was fine. Apparently had no problems with the other dogs there. Michael and his wife were very responsive and accommodating. I plan to use them again for an over night stay unless I find someone closer to me, and I recommend them.”

“Caterina was terrific with Fala! She sent updates and photos + videos throughout Fala's two night stay and despite generally stormy weather, got Fala out as much as possible. I look forward to booking with Caterina again!”

“Ryan and Jefra were the sweetest. They took really good care of my boys and constantly sent a lot of pictures. They were flexible and communicative. I recommend them for sure!”

“Absolutely amazing sitters! Extremely professional and considerate. I was nervous to leave my dog with new people but they offered a meet and greet days in advanced, had me complete a questionnaire on his feeding, preferences, quirks etc. And provided me with daily updates including pictures. I was able to travel at ease knowing he was in safe hands. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Snickers.”

“Iliana was absolutely wonderful!! She took such good care of my pup, sent so many photos and updates and was very communicative and easy to reach! My dog Abby loved her, 10 out of 10 I would definitely recommend and definitely will be reaching out to her again when I need someone to watch my sweet pup ❤️🤗”

Qi did a truly amazing job. We have a senior dog who has social anxiety and we worry about her when we have to travel. When we picked her up though she seemed happier than ever, lively and energetic with a pep in her step. Qi sent us pictures regularly and kept us updated on her condition so we had peace of mind on our trip. Thank you so much Qi!

Wilson was a lifesaver — our regular sitter no-showed at drop-off and I booked with him in minutes. Communication was clear and fast, and he asked all the right questions upfront so we both felt comfortable moving forward with the stay, just an hour after our first message on Rover. Georgia had an amazing time. She came home well rested and clearly spoiled with treats (the way to her heart!). Wilson and Kattt were so patient and kind with her, and the updates and videos throughout the stay were a huge relief. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely book again!

Saldin was as great as everybody says she is. My dogs have never stayed with someone who is not family before and I was a little anxious, but Saldin made me feel comfortable right away. She took my dogs to the park, walked them a bunch, and let my snuggly girl sleep in bed with her. She followed all my instructions and made sure my dogs felt at home. Her adult children were also great with the dogs. She was very communicative from the first message, assuring me that she would be with my dogs the whole time they were in her care so no crate would be required. She sent many updates in the form of pictures, videos, and texts. I would not hesitate to leave my dogs in her capable hands again. Thanks Saldin!

We booked Roman last minute and he was excellent! Frequent videos, pictures, and updates of Jobi were incredibly reassuring as this was his first time staying with someone other than a friend/family member. So glad we have someone reputable in the neighborhood to watch our pup!

Devon was great with Max! She kept us updated and sent photos throughout his stay, which we really appreciated. Max was a very nervous at first, and she was very patient and understanding with him and helped him settle in. We felt very comfortable knowing he was in good hands. Thank you, Devon!
Jagruti did 16 days of walks, plus a week of boarding at their home, for our Labrador while we were away in August. This included hand-off and return of our dog and her essentials in the middle of the relevant period, because we were away at different times. Everything went very well - good communications before, during and after. Plenty of pictures and updates❤️ Thanks very much!
Alexandra was a superstar, literally the best and most accommodating person (not just sitter!) that we could’ve hoped for. She was attentive, responsible, and loving with her care of our dog, and she even created some silly, cute memories for him. I wouldn’t hesitate at all to book again with her. If she’s available, sprint to book her!

Carly is amazing! She is super responsive and sends frequent updates/pictures. We did a meetup before the multi-night stay, and even though my dog had only met Carly once at the meetup, she was thrilled to see Carly again a week later when we were dropping her off. Clearly my dog could tell right away that Carly is a dog-lover! I’m sure my pup loved staying with her!

Had such a good experience with Leslie! My dog is a senior and can be very anxious, so I’m always a little nervous leaving him, but Leslie took really great care of him and made me feel super comfortable the whole time. Was also very communicative, sent me lots of cute pictures and updates, followed all of his care instructions, and really paid attention to his needs and my dog also ended up making friends with the other dogs, which honestly made me so happy to see. :) He seemed comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for. Would definitely book with leslie again and highly recommend so for anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
