“Janise and her family took amazing care of my dog Faith! She suffers from some anxiety, but they were patient, brought out the best in her, and kept us updated frequently. Would definitely recommend!!”

“Sabrina took wonderful care of my dog. I had to book the boarding last minite, but Sabrina was very accommodating. She responded to my messages quickly and also kept sending me photos of how my dog was doing which gave me peace of mind. When I was picking him up, Sabrina explained in detail how he ate, slept, walked and behaved during the stay. This proved to me that Sabrina paid a lot of attention to my dog. Most dog sitters in my experience didn't share this much detail. I highly recommend Sabrina!”

“Ryan was so kind and attentive to Poppy!! I had issues with my travel and ended up being away longer than I was supposed to and he cooked food for her!”

“Euitae was great with my puppy! Communicated with me well throughout the time, sent photos and videos. I felt comfortable leaving her with a new boarder and would work with Euitae again!”

“John was great - Extremely responsive and kept me updated while my dog Ollie stayed with him. I gave so many instructions because Ollie has separation anxiety and John took them all very well. When I got Ollie back he was so calm and relaxed because John took such good care of him!”

“Anton was very kind and accommodating of my anxious dog. It was the very first boarding experience for my dog, Reiki, and he was very nervous when we arrived at Anton's place. I was worried that he would stay restless, but I was totally wrong! Anton sent me photos and updates, which made me feel safe asking more of his service again. Reiki was able to calm down within hours under his care, and very much enjoyed spending time with him 😄.”

“Bridget was wonderful. Zuko, my 14-pound Shihpooh, had a happy and relaxed time in her home. I could tell he was comfy and well cared for. Highly recommend.”

“Theo was so happy when we picked him up! We’re so glad we found our go-to sitter in the city. Michael and his wife kept us updated with great communication and plenty of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear Theo was well cared for and having a great time. We would absolutely book with them again in the future! 🐾😊”

“Lal was amazing! She watched our puppy and was very communicative and committed to taking great care of him! It was our first time leaving him and we were so pleased with her and are glad to have a trusted sitter!”

“Iliana NEVER disappoints!! She saved me with my most recent booking. I had an emergency last minute request and she answered right away and was available for the days! A true lifesaver! She took great care of Cookies n Cream, sent pictures and updates everyday and gave him a Spa Day and washed his bed on the day I picked him up! He was so happy and smelled so good when I picked him up! Thank you Iliana for being the BEST dog sitter ever!”

“Wei Han was fantastic! She took great care of our dogs Teddy and Yoshi while we were away. She sent photos and updates throughout our trip. The dogs loved their staycation!”

“Heather was an absolute delight to work with! Quick, clear, and helpful. It was our first time using a sitting service and we were understandably anxious. Heather made us feel so comfortable and from the frequent updates we got on our pup, he was clearly having the time of his life!!! We could not recommend her enough!”

“Anne was amazing with our puppy Luna. She was very attentive to Luna’s needs and updated us frequently. She is a dog expert who truly loves to care for them. I highly recommend Anne.”

“Christa really is the best! I think Cody loves her more than he loves us :) She is really pleasant to work with, and always very accommodating. She kept us thoroughly informed throughout our trip. Every time I read her update puts a smile on me. It made our get away even more sweeter experience!”

“Aydrian was great! I was going out of the country for a little over a week and a nervous dog mom. He was super accommodating and gave great updates. His apartment is in an ideal spot on the UWS so I knew Penny was in great hands.”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Eva was professional, kind, and incredibly attentive. They went above and beyond to make sure my dog felt comfortable and cared for. Highly recommended!”

“Adam watched our 10 month old puppy for about a week while we were out of town, and he did an awesome job. I got so many pictures and videos the whole time. His dog Hermes gets on great with my puppy, they were playing together the whole time! We did a meet and greet before booking him to make sure that the dogs got along well together too. We needed our dog to only eat the food we brought due to allergy concerns, and Adam fed them in separate rooms which worked well. We got back a tired, happy puppy.”

“Priyanka is the best Rover care giver I’ve ever had. She is caring and thoughtful and took incredible care of our senior dog. We’re so grateful to her and will definitely book her again”

“Deibi and Tiffany took wonderful care of my two dogs over a long weekend. I received detailed updates, photos, and videos everyday. Tiffany was super responsive and she’s so kind! My dogs didn’t want to leave!!!”

Anna was amazing with my girl Tonya! I could not recommend someone more! Tonya had a long stay with Anna and anna followed all of our care instructions perfectly and sent many updates and pictures! She made sure our girl stayed safe during the heat wave and bad air quality as well!

Best of the best! Natasha and her husband took the best care of our dog - they had her for 2 extra nights due to travel issues and were so easy to work with!! They even bought our dog food because she ran out. We love them and will continue to use them again and again!!

Great couple! They were very communicative with daily walks, feedings, play and even (unfortunately) some potty accidents. Very easy to work with and they are willing to work with you and meet you and your pups needs. Thank you Ziyu & Jeremy for watching Oslo & Otto for our weekend. I know they weren’t easy dogs but you took the time to care for them like they were your own and that’s all we wanted!

Melanie watched our dog for a week, and we can't thank her enough. We're very anxious dog owners and had actually never left our dog with a rover sitter before, always relying on friends and family. From the moment I met Melanie, it was obvious how much she genuinely loves and cares for animals. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving, trustworthy, and reliable dog sitter.

Brianna was amazing. She took my pup on several city adventures to parks and the riverside and kept me updated along the way. She administered my dogs medication without issue. Her communication is excellent and she sent me lots of photos of my dog. I would trust her with my dog any day and look forward to booking with her in the future. She is without a doubt the best dog sitter I have booked on Rover.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
