“Julia did a great job walking my very energetic one-year-old dachshund mix! She filled in on short notice after another walker got sick, which was a huge lifesaver. She followed all instructions, communicated well, and left my dog very happy. I would definitely use her again!”

“Christina was absolutely wonderful with my dog Bailey! She sent pictures and kept me posted on everything. She’s so friendly as well! My dog was in great hands!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life! Friends and family have trusted me to look after their Dogs since I was 11. I used to work for a Healthy Petfood store and have learned even more about caring for not just dogs but cats too! I have experience with dogs of all sizes! I’m working Part-time right now, and I could fit time throughout the day! I work nights so anytime in the morning to around 3pm would work great! I live in a spacious studio less than a block away from Central Park! My apartment is a safe place for pups! I’m fortunate to have nice neighbors who also have dogs. Their dogs are friendly and I currently do not have a dog of my own! My apartment is clean and smoke-free!
“Another amazing walk, and then some! Great pictures, too! I’ll cherish these! I highly recommend Nya!!! My dog was SO excited to see her when she came back only for the second time! He remembers everyone, but he has favorites. I think n Nya’s a new fast favorite ;) Thank you, Nya! We are both so happy! You’re a life saver!”
“Failenn was great! She was prompt showing up and took Ozy on a couple great and long walks. I would definitely have Failenn walk Ozy in the future.”

“Rachel was great with Ollie! She was so accommodating and easy going. Oliver is just a puppy and she did great with walking him while I was at work and giving him some time to play and eat! Updated me with pics and her visit thoroughly after which was very much appreciated! Will be booking with her again!”

About: I am an avid dog (and all animal) lover, and recently lost my truly special 14 year-old pup. While looking to add a new member of the pack later in 2026, I realized that I especially miss having a dog to join me on my walks in Central Park and Riverside Park. I have an extensive history caring for dogs, and feel comfortable following different care and diet rules. I currently reside on the Upper West Side and when in town I am working from home. If desired, I also have a house upstate if you are interested in your pup getting an out of town field trip. I get along well with dogs, cats, and any other animals that want to be gotten along with. When in town, I work from home. My normal schedule with my dog was a long walk first thing in the morning, a long walk in the afternoon and another short walk in the evening when possible. I am able to follow most any care or diet instructions and will endeavor to treat your pet in the same way they have become accustomed.
About: I am a cat person that dogs love. My experience includes caring for senior dogs, rescue dogs, and special needs animals (both cats and dogs). My most unique pet care experience was a 3-month house sit for 5 cats, 1 of whom was motor-function disabled. I have the pleasure of caring for your pets with no schedule restrictions on my part, as long as enough prior notice is given. Please send a booking request at least 3 days in advance for a higher chance of a booking confirmation. I am known for being very meticulous during house sits. If things get messy, I also have the professional cleaning experience to reset your home so you can come home relaxed and happy for the lack of funky smells. If I have to go outside temporarily during a house sit, I always put on a calming video for dogs or a nature video for cats.
“Josie is the best!!! She’s so accessible, reliable and my pups love her. We have two large German shepherd dogs and she handles them no problem. We love using her and highly recommend!”

“Kristian was so professional and easy to communicate with. He never made me feel annoying sending a bunch of messages and checking in. I would definitely say that he was the most professional and confident dog person I've connected with through rover. I am happy we found him!”

Julia did a great job walking my very energetic one-year-old dachshund mix! She filled in on short notice after another walker got sick, which was a huge lifesaver. She followed all instructions, communicated well, and left my dog very happy. I would definitely use her again!

I cannot speak more highly of Birger! He walked my dog Charlie for a few days while I was out of the country and was extremely communicative and sent lots of photos of Charlie. Unfortunately, Charlie had an accident in the apartment one of the days, which Birger helped clean up and was genuinely so kind about it all. I couldn't recommend Birger enough!

We needed some help for my two Shiba Inus over the busy holiday season. Jody was very responsive and was able to do a meet and greet quickly to make sure we were comfortable leaving them in her hands. We used her for multiple walks a day and to also give a pill to my older Shiba. She also did a couple feedings and a water change. She did a great job and was communicative the entire time, we felt confident she was doing a great job. She even was able to walk them to our regular sitter at the end of the few days of service. We will definitely use her again if we need someone and would recommend her to others!

Missy is sometimes nervous around tall people, but Yuji was so friendly and gentle, he had her cuddling on the couch with him in under 5 minutes. He's also offered some great tips to us as new-ish dog parents, and has taken the time to train Missy on her walks too.

Caroline walked our very energetic dog for 6 days over the holidays. First and foremost, our dog adored her. Secondly, Caroline was incredibly flexible and responsive when it came to last minute changes and details. She was kind, caring and I felt totally safe leaving our girl in her care. We will 100% be hoping to use her again.

I’m so grateful that we found Lovisa!!! She is exceptionally sweet, patient, and reliable. She took it slow and built trust with my shy cavapoo puppy and they quickly became great friends. Lovisa helped with Sadie while I was away and I knew I didn’t have to worry at all. She was on time, super communicative and I could tell Sadie was excited to spend time with her. I highly recommend Lovisa to anyone looking for great care for their pet! I have already booked her as a repeat dog walker for Sadie.
