About: My first ever job was taking care of the dogs and cats boarding at my local vet. I made $8/hour and loved every second of it because I got to hang with animals all day! I’ve cared for my sweet senior shih-tzu Pixie for the past 14 years and miss her every day. I have experience administering medication, bathing, cleaning up messes, and giving each animal the attention it deserves. I’m currently looking for a new full time position so I have total flexibility to care for your pets! I recently moved to Harlem with easy access to the 2/3 and 4/5 trains. I am a very respectful house guest and intend to leave all spaces as I found them (or cleaner!). About: Dedicated Pet Caretaker with Rescue & Senior Dog Experience - under 30lbs I have a lifelong passion for animals and a background in professional pet advocacy, having volunteered with both the ASPCA and Best Friends Animal Society (BFAS). My experience ranges from caring for energetic puppies to providing specialized attention to senior dogs with mobility issues, blindness, and deafness. I currently work from home on Mondays and Fridays, offering a 'home-away-from-home' environment where your pet will never be left alone. I’m available for boarding in my home from Thursday night through Monday night. My home is a quiet, pet-free and child-free sanctuary, featuring a private fenced-in backyard for safe, supervised exercise. About: Started caring for cats at 15 then would board friends dogs while they travel and have even fostered dogs at risk of euthanasia and/or stray dogs traveling from Texas. I work full time m-f however am able to wfh as needed and always have enough time to cuddle and play with furry friends. Weekends are always free for outdoor play time or indoor snuggle sessions. I am in a spacious apartment with a 3 year old cat and 9 year old dog. Both are friendly and love to nap all day. More than enough space to be separated if needed.
