About: I’ve been a dog walker for 2+ years, I have experience working at a dog daycare, dog walking, dog sitting, cat sitting, and drop in feeding for both. I am patient, reliable and punctual. I pay attention, take animals safety seriously and will take very good care of your pets. Rain or shine, snow or summer heat won’t stop me from showing up 😁 I am willing to do meet and greets! I’ve mainly worked in Manhattan (preferably I choose to work all around Manhattan) , I can come to Brooklyn or Queens to dog/cat sit and commute is no problem for me. I am available weekdays and weekends, I have lots of free time and I would like to use that to work as much as I can. I understand that each cat/dog has their own needs and some require special attention and/or care, such as diaper changes for disabled dogs or pets that take certain medications, I am experienced with these and I can do it. I can and will do whatever the pet needs, I’ll be present and take care of them.

“Lee did a fantastic job with Cookie! He was very professional and patient, even when Cookie tried to hide to avoid going on her walk. He did a great job convincing her to go, and she ended up having a wonderful time walking with him.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since middle school! I used to stop by neighbors houses for dog walks or litter box changes. I also grew up with four cats, two dogs, one bird, one gecko, and even one frog for a while. I LOVE animals, so much so that in college, I fostered 2 cats and 2 kittens in my apartment. I was responsible for letting them grow and play and making sure they were fit for adoption :) I am an actor in the city, so I will never have a solid 9-5 day, so that leaves a lot of time for check ins and walks! I also love being out of the house for things, so the more I can start my day and end my day with pets and activities, the better! I have the space in my apartment to hold a cat or small dog, but any other size or animal, I’d most likely take to a park or outside walk!
“Drew was an awesome dog walker and I can’t say enough amazing things about him! He came out to meet Bro before the walk to make sure everything went well. He also had patience when I forgot to give the lockbox code. Very grateful to Drew! Book him!”

“Victor is great with Zuse! He is reliable, attentive, and clearly has a wonderful way with dogs. Zuse always seems happy and well-cared for after their time together. If you are looking for a walker who is professional and genuinely cares about your pup, I highly recommend Victor!”

About: Hi! I’m a reliable and attentive pet lover with 6 years of experience as a dedicated dog mom. I understand how important it is to know your pets and home are being cared for by someone responsible, patient, and genuinely loving. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, giving lots of attention, and keeping pets calm and comfortable while you’re away. I also take pride in keeping homes clean, secure, and well cared for during house sits. I’ll treat your pets like family and your home with respect and care! I have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, consistency, and care throughout the day. I’m available for walks, check-ins, overnight stays, and making sure your pets feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Animals tend to warm up to me quickly because I’m calm, gentle, and attentive to their individual personalities and needs. I love spending quality time with pets, giving them affection, playtime, and patience so they feel comfortable, safe, and genuinely cared for.
About: Hello! My name is Robyn. I’m an NYC-based professional pet sitter and writer with several years’ experience in animal care. Red Cross certified for Emergency CPR and First Aid (2023). Light housekeeping also included in my overnight rates! A lifelong animal lover, I understand that patience is required in the care of our animal friends. We are their protectors. So, I take my role seriously. A pet is a member of your family, deserving of safety, respect, empathy, boundaried care, and, most importantly, love. As a pet sitter, it is my job to reinforce the hard work that you, the parents, have put into training your pet! I aim to be a calm, reassuring presence for your dog or cat--that's what works best for me. Firmly believe in communication and daily check-ins with pet parents. (I do daily report cards!) I specialize in rescue dogs, puppies less than a year old (once even a litter!), and geriatric dogs. Looking forward to working with you and your lovable companions! I have a flexible schedule, since I work partially remote. While based in Manhattan, I travel throughout New York City, Long Island, and the tri-state area for my dog sitting. Once, my dog sitting even took me to Costa Rica! When working in clients' homes, my ethos is simple: Leave the space better than you found it. I cover my own food, and I do offer light housekeeping and cleaning, especially for week-long stays. I take pride in keeping your home clean and maintained.
“It was difficult finding a sitter over the busy holiday season that was good with a shy/skittish dog like ours, so glad we found Fatima!! Our dog was immediately comfortable around her, and we knew they’d enjoy their nice long daily walks together. Fatima was also very communicative, she met him beforehand, was helpful in fixing my scheduling mistake, and sent us Rover Cards for every walk. We look forward to booking with her again!”

“My dog immediately loved Anthony and he definitely knows dogs well, since he has one of his own. He is a great walker and highly recommend! Good communication also. Thank you Anthony!”

“Shariana is absolutely incredible. She is very communicative, reliable, and punctual and has been seamlessly continuing our 7 month old puppy’s training on his walks while we are at work! She has been walking him for almost a month now and I couldn’t be happier knowing he is in the best, most trustworthy hands!”

My avail is usually early morning, evening and weekends but will flex whenever possible. Please reach out and ask. I am very responsive. Thank you! I will follow the client's instructions for their pets. I know how important it is to take care of a pet per the owner's instructions. “Sabrina and her esteemed colleague came by and we had a lovely chat and walk. She’s VERY dog competent. Knows her stuff. Carries herself with grace and poise. Stupendous. Magnificent. Lovely. Also Momo liked her immediately! Great with dogs, very patient with the leash training I’ve implemented.”

About: I have been an animal lover since I was a little girl. I would jump at any opportunity to walk, feed, bathe, and cuddle the pets of my friends and family. As I have gotten older, the desire that I had to care for animals has not gone away. In fact, it has only gotten stronger. I currently care for a cat of my own, and provide services to friends whenever they are in need. I'd love to do that through Rover as well. I am currently a student, which gives me a lot of control over my schedule. My flexibility allows me to dedicate more time caring for your furry friends. Whenever you are in need of pet care, I will make sure that I am available for you. The way that I care for pets is very personalized, depending on the expectations of the owner and the needs of their furry friend. However, I will always make sure that the pet receives lots of affection and play time.
About: I have had plenty of experiences in both animal & children care, having temporarily worked in a daycare and having had friends/family that rely on me to be present knowing I’d be glad to look after their furry friends. As much as I’d like to say they have been professional experiences, emotional attentiveness and the time dedicated overrides anything. I place emphasis on the personal relations with the pet and the trusting comfort of their owner. And can’t wait to continue. I am exceptionally flexible and willing to cater to the needs and schedule of my clients. I am mainly available during week days :) . I offer dog walking services and in-home pet sitting. I go for a very balanced schedule of feeding, walks at the park, activity/movement and rest.

Highly recommend Leonore! She was available last minute and even worked with my neighbors to arrange the key pick up and drop off. This was my first time using Rover and my first time leaving my dog alone for so long. I feel much more confident doing so now that I know caring professionals like Leonore are available affordably through Rover. Hire her!

Kate was wonderful with Brinkley! He is a very shy boy and she did an excellent job at getting him to interact with her. While he was reluctant to leave (as always), it was an easier exit than we've seen with any other walker so far. She asked great questions and is a great communicator and Brinkley came back happy and tired -- booking a recurring weekly session right now!

This was my second time booking with Hector, and once again he did an excellent job caring for my dog. He is reliable, communicative, and always attentive to my dog’s needs. I appreciate how respectful and professional he is when coming into my home, which makes the entire experience stress-free. It’s reassuring to know my dog is in good hands, and I will definitely continue rebooking with him in the future.

Yana has been walking Max every at least twice a week for several weeks now and I only have good things to say! She always pays attention to the smaller details of my requests, and Max always comes back content! She is flexible and often able to watch him last minute as needed. I would definitely recommend her.

My sister was injured and Ksenia really helped out by walking my sisters dog on short notice. Ksenia really enjoyed her time with my sister's dog and from what I heard the feeling was mutual for the little guy because he enjoyed playing while they walked together. Thanks Ksenia!
Neil is incredibly consistent and communicative. Each week Neil checks in to make sure we are on the same schedule and often given my schedule I am not as consistent however Neil makes it work and it’s always there to walk Zephyr. Neil is very kind and patient with Zephyr. His prices are very reasonable as well.

Isabelle was amazing with my babies! I felt very safe and comfortable leaving them with her because I knew she would understand them and make sure they had a great time. She was caring, attentive, and kept me at ease the whole time. I would definitely trust her again and highly recommend her!

Emmanuel has been walking my dog Phoenix for over a year daily and he is amazing. She can be a very anxious and dog reactive Shepherd but he handles her very well and makes her feel safe. She loves him and gets so excited everytime she sees him. Emmanuel is very communicative with any changes in his schedule or if he is running late to a walk and I appreciate that so much. He's become family!
