About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 13. I’ve worked with them at all ages and know great places around the city to take them. I am currently preparing to go back to school in the fall, so I am available at basically any time of day with a few hours notice. I love exploring the city so I am willing to travel for care. I have experience in all aspects of pet care, including walking, both on the street and in dog runs, feeding, and crating when appropriate. I am patient and willing to take the time to ensure they have everything they need.
“Alison was fantastic with my dog, Nala! Even though we didn’t meet in person, she handled everything seamlessly and made sure Nala was well cared for. She was communicative, reliable, and sent great updates, which gave me peace of mind. Nala looked happy and well-exercised after her walk! I’d definitely recommend Alison to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker. Thanks again, Alison!”

“Ashley has been incredibly communicative and wonderful. She is able to deal with all personalities of pets and sends various photos and gives a detailed update. Truly would recommend her to anyone for both dogs and cats!”

About: When I am not with my own dogs you can find me out and about asking everyone if I can pet their pups. I have fifteen years of experience as a dog owner and grew up pet sitting for my neighbors dogs. Dogs under my care are guaranteed to be cared for and loved like they are my own. My dog is 15 years old giving me a few years of senior dog care experience. We added a new pug to our family a couple of years ago so in addition to my senior pet care experience I am also experienced with active mischievous little pups. I am currently a full time graduate student and work part time. My available days are Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. I am flexible at almost anytime on those days. My 15 year old pug lives in my condo. She has free range of the main living area during the day when I am not home, and free range of the entire condo when I am home. It is a second floor condo with an indoor entrance, no safety risk with cars. The development has a large loop for walks.
“Sylvia and Scott are wonderful! I know my little man is happy and well taken care of when they walk him. They're on time and always send me great pics of my pup from their walks.”

“Monika is a great dog walker—she’s super diligent, reliable, and always keeps communication easy and clear. She does a great job keeping owners updated and you can tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she’s walking.”

About: Dogs have been part of my life since day one. I grew up with (the only chill) Dalmatian and have spent the last 12 years raising Michael Jordan — yes, that's really his name. He's our sweet, senior black Lab that my son named after his basketball hero (and trust me, MJ earned it; he used to get serious air as a pup). Caring for dogs isn't something I picked up as a hobby; it's simply what I do. Beyond my own furbaby, I've cared for a range of dogs for friends and family: in-home sitting for Maddy, an adorable Maltipoo, and Charlie, a big lovable brindle Boxer; and dog walking for Luca, a high-energy Giant Schnauzer, plus my favorite French Bulldogs (Gigi & Lambeau!), a few treat-loving Labs (Lex and Hank the Tank!), and several velcro Dachshunds along the way. Big or small, high-energy or chill... I'm genuinely comfortable with them all. A little about me: I'm a proud mom to a UMD college student, health-conscious, and active in ways that benefit your dog. Riverside & Central Park are part of my daily routine, and dogs are woven into my everyday life. I'm dependable and treat every dog in my care the way I'd want someone to treat mine. With my son home from college for the summer, I have even more time to dedicate to other pups. If you're looking for a friendly, reliable, experienced UWS dog lover who will take great care of your pet, I'd love to meet them. I work from home which means plenty of unhurried time for your pup. Whether you're looking for a long walk or a park playdate, I'm available for walks and drop-ins both weekdays and weekends plus available for in-home sitting with advance notice so we have time to get acquainted beforehand. Your home, your rules! When caring for your dog, I follow your routines, respect your setup, and keep everything exactly as you'd expect to find it. I'll confirm feeding schedules, walk times, any medications, and your preferred check-in style before we get started. I'm also big on sharing photos so you always know your pup is happy and well cared for.

My schedule changes week to week but I am typically free three weekdays a week. I have petsat and housesat many times and all of my previous employers would describe me as reliable. I have high expectations for myself and enjoy meeting my employer’s needs. If there is a list or schedule you’d like me to complete, I will make sure everything is done to your satisfaction and mine. I am empathetic and will always treat your pet will kindness and compassion.
“Ashely was amazing! She took the time to come meet our pup ahead of time and was super communicative. Definitely values safety and it was easy to trust her. Will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: A lifelong dog lover of all breeds, I was raised in a family with Max the beagle, Lucy the bearded collie and Tyler the bichon. As an adult, I had 14 wonderful years spoiling my blind rescue pup Pugsley, and after he crossed the 🌈 last year, I adopted my sweet chiweenie rescue pup, Chickpea. I have long depended on Rover sitters for my own dog's care while traveling, so I know first hand how nerve wracking it can be to be away so I’m happy to return the favor and provide you peace of mind. I'm currently home full-time and very flexible to attend to your dog's particular needs and preferences. Reach out for a meet and greet today! Home full-time, highly flexible to accomodate your pup's preferred walking, eating, playing and sleeping schedule with minimal time away - individual walks to be provided and oversight of all meals, snacks and toys. Your pup is welcome in my immaculately clean, elevator building apartment with no restrictions on furniture, bed, etc. Plenty of room to play and snooze indoors for low key pups and walkable to Central Park and Peter Detmold Dog Run (with permission only) for more active, social doggos.
“Great job taking care of my Pomeranian. Upon drop-off running towards Chris with lots of tail wagging = very happy dog and made me realize he wanted to spend more time with Chris.”

“Mia is wonderful. Lovely calm energy for my nervous and sensitive pup. She is clearly an animal lover and I (a helicopter mom) feel very comfortable having her in charge of my baby!”

Kelly and Frank were such kind, considerate, and communicative walkers for Tito! They went the extra mile coordinating with my other dog sitter and paid extra care to Tito’s injured paw by adjusting his walking schedule and playing with him inside. I would definitely book them again in the future!

Birger was fantastic with Moana! He was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about her well being. He kept me updated throughout the walk and I felt completely at ease knowing she was in good hands. Moana came back happy. I would definitely book with him again and highly recommend him to other pet parents!
Austin was great! He walked Rascal approximately twice daily for a four-day period. He reliable, communicative and easy to deal with. Rascal can be a bit cranky when he doesn’t know somone but Austin was able to handle him and earn his trust. We felt very comfortable knowing that Rascal was in good hands!

Anastasiia was wonderful with my dog! She met us beforehand for a meet and greet, and then provided photos and feedback during her first walk. She is trustworthy and was great with navigating the procedures in my apartment building. I am so thankful for her help!
