“Eleanor was a great walker for my dog, Nova! She was very communicative about everything while I was away. I really appreciated her care to accommodate all of Nova’s quirks. Highly recommend!”

“Cheryl walks Slash every week - she’s been a great help to us as we are in the office more often. She’s very communicative and adjusts what she does with Slash depending on weather or how energetic he is that day. Would definitely recommend Cheryl to anyone who needs a reliable dog walker!”

“Great service! They took our mosby out for a long walk, provided us with updates and photos of our happy boy afterwards. Very friendly and dependable”
“Onyx is always reliable, communicative, and responsible. I have trusted her to walk my dog Lucy every day and she has never missed a day without advanced notice. She always keeps me updated and pays close attention to any changes in behavior. I always felt that Lucy was safe and I didn't have to worry about her while I was at work. Unfortunately we are moving away or I would continue to use her service. I could not recommend her more!”

“Mary is amazing she is so sweet and affectionate towards my dog and has been available last minute for extra/ longer walks. I feel good knowing my dog is cared for by her!”

About: I grew up with both cats and dogs and have been around animals my entire life. My family has three cats at home, and not being able to have pets in the city is genuinely one of the hardest parts of the move. Pet sitting and walking is my way of staying connected to that. I’m active by nature and work at a Pilates studio, so your dog will always have an energetic, attentive person on the other end of the leash. I work at a Pilates studio and have a flexible schedule that allows me to fit pet care into my routine regularly. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and sitting depending on the day, and I’m happy to discuss what works best for you and your pet. Between shelter volunteering and helping foster dogs in college, I’ve handled animals in all kinds of situations and environments. I treat every animal like my own, and having grown up with both cats and dogs, I’m comfortable with different personalities and needs, whether that’s a shy cat or a high-energy pup. I’m attentive, calm, and genuinely invested in making sure your pet feels safe and loved for while you’re away.
About: Moving to East Village near the dog park! I've grown up with 2 crazy wheaten terriers so I have a lot of experience with high maintenance dogs including walking, grooming, feeding, and most importantly - loving them. In London and the U.S., I've had many repeat customers on Rover and therefore have experience in all kinds of temperaments, feeding requirements, walking schedules, and even the occasional medication administration / vet visit. I'm in event planning but my role is WFH most days so please message if interested - my schedule is very free right now. Work in event planning but WFH most days. My routine consists of working out, walking, and cooking for myself during the week! Very social person and always love to bring the doggies along with me if I can :) Whenever I'm in someone else's home I make sure to follow their house rules and kept the place tidy. I'm only available to house sit or go on walks right now but in London, any pet I had was free to sit on the furniture and roam freely around the flat.
“Brismar has been walking our 4-month-old puppy and the puppy loves it. The reports we get back are helpful, like today “she is more obedient now, maybe because she trusts me more” and “I got a lot of kisses.””

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. My grandmother has bred and shown award winner Golden Retrievers under the kennel name Elysian Goldens based out of Colorado. For many summers growing up I would work w/ my grandmother on fielding training exercises, obedience classes, and grooming operations. I’m currently studying full time for law school so my schedule is very flexible and am readily available. I’m located in Manhattan and can commute at a moments notice. I have a studio apartment in Manhattan. It is a safe, clean, and well kept living space and can accommodate all things dogs and pets

“Aria was wonderful! This was her first time walking my 2-year-old dog, Rupi, and I couldn't be happier. She arrived right on time and took Rupi on a beautiful walk around the neighborhood. Seeing Rupi after work, so happy and relaxed, I knew she was in great hands. I will definitely be booking her again—highly recommend Aria.”

“Appreciated Phillip working with my schedule and covering for my usual dog care. He has an awesome attitude and was great with my little fussy fur boy. I will definitely reach out to Phillip again!”

About: I have experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes, including a senior Cocker Spaniel who lived to 16, an adult Rottweiler, and my current Labrador mix rescue, whom I’ve been training using positive reinforcement. I’m comfortable with senior dog care, large breeds, and basic training, and I always provide patient, attentive, and reliable care tailored to each dog’s needs. I’m consistent with daily walks, feeding, and training, and I structure my day around my dog’s needs. I provide morning and evening care, plus extra exercise, attention, and training time on weekends. I prioritize safety, routine, and comfort in both my home and clients’ homes. I follow each pet’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, and medication, and I use positive reinforcement to reduce stress and build trust. I keep a close eye on behavior, energy levels, and any health changes, especially with senior dogs. In clients’ homes, I respect their space, follow all instructions carefully, and ensure doors, gates, and leashes are secure at all times. My goal is to create a calm, familiar environment where pets feel safe and cared for.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - East Village
Sophie clearly has a deep love for dogs. Finding someone you trust with your fur baby can be stressful but she gave me so much comfort. It is such a relief knowing my pup is in safe hands. She is very sweet with Maca and I love the pictures she send of her on their walks!

Tara is awesome!! I needed a couple of last minute walks and Tara was super responsive. On top of sending lots of updates/pictures throughout the walks, she also went above and beyond and stayed out with kiwi longer, which I really appreciated. Will definitely rebook in the future <3

George is a fantastic companion for scooter! They have so much fun on their walks and scooter loves practicing his tricks and skills while they hang. It’s been a true lifesaver while we have twin newborns, knowing that our dog is having so much fun and getting mental enrichment on the regular while we’re distracted with our new additions to the family!

I can’t recommend her enough! This was a last-minute booking, and even though I accidentally submitted the wrong address, she was incredibly understanding, flexible, and went out of her way to accommodate us. She was patient, communicative, and made the entire process completely stress-free. Most importantly, my dog warmed up to her right away and was happy and comfortable in her care, which gave me so much peace of mind. She clearly has a natural connection with animals and genuinely cares about their well-being. I’m so grateful she was able to help on such short notice. If you’re looking for someone reliable, kind, trustworthy, and truly great with dogs, I would absolutely recommend her. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!
