About: Hi! My name is Sarah-Jane Clarke. I am an animal loving Software Engineer! I’ve taken care of dogs and cats throughout high school, college, and now post grad for my relatives, friends, and Rover clients! I have experience feeding, taking on walks, and playing with pets. I am always sure to make any pet feel comfortable and safe while they are separated from their owners. At home in Connecticut, my parents have a 3 year old cat named Valley who I take care of while I am home. From this experience I have grown to love cats and feel comfortable feeding, playing with, and cleaning cats litter. I love being around cats and making them feel happy and loved!!! I also had a yellow lab for 12 years and was always helping take care of him and take him on walks throughout my childhood. I have taken care of small dogs as well as larger ones and multiple cats at one time. I would be very excited to help you out by caring for your pet! I recently took care of my friends 4 month old Beagle for 2 months while he was traveling. This gave me solid experience taking care of a young dog including feeding, potty training, walks, and making sure they get plenty of activity! I work Monday-Friday 9-5pm but work from home everyday! I am able to come before and right after work, or times I do not have urgent meetings, any day to feed & play with your pet. have a safe, clean apartment for a dog or cat to be comfortable in. In any clients home I am sure to respect their privacy and keep their home in good condition while playing with and caring for their dog! I am always sure to leave the client’s home as they left it (or cleaner!) and with a happy pet. I will be sure to follow the instructions the owner gives me.

About: I have experience taking care of my own dog as well as others’ dogs. I found a scrappy mini schnauzer named Mickey at the shelter in 2018 and fell in love immediately. I brought him home that day and was his primary caretaker for the next 7 years through his difficult battle with cancer. Since losing him, I’ve been volunteering at the shelter and dog-sitting others’ dogs. I can provide attentive care based on you and your dog’s needs, including special needs and senior dogs. I’d love to meet you and your dog and see how I can help! Im currently a student, so I have a lot of free time. I am free to walk your dogs pretty much anytime that works for you! My priority is keeping your dog safe and your home secure through every visit. I am extremely careful during entries and exits to ensure your pet stays safely inside, and I always double-check that all doors are locked when I leave. During walks, I stay highly alert to our surroundings, including traffic and other animals, while maintaining a secure grip on the leash at all times. You can expect a detailed update and photos after every walk so you have total peace of mind.

About: Over my few years I’ve taken care of many types of dogs, whether that be big, small, active or lazy. I’m particularly very suited to handle big high energy dogs as I have mainly taken care of those types of dogs. I have also in some cases provided care for dogs with medical needs such as providing medication for the dog. I love to be able to take dogs out and have fun or just sit and relax if needed. I’m great at communicating with pet parents and providing a safe and fun experience for everyone’s dog! I am currently a college student so my schedule depends on. The days I do not have classes and the days I get out of class early. But I am mostly pretty free and have multiple days where I am open for the whole day to take care of your pets! Although I do not provide care in watching pets at my own home, I am able to do check-in and I ensure that the pet is fed as well as everything seems to be in order within the client’s home. As well as making sure the pet is comfortable and seems to be its normal self I also provide excellent communication if there seems to be something off and will ensure the safety of the pet is taken care of!

Whether they’re happiest exploring the neighborhood or napping on the couch, we’ll follow their usual routine to help them feel right at home.

About: I've had dogs early in life. I cared for dogs in the home and on a farm I lived for 10 years in Oklahoma. I can adapt to lively and shy dogs alike. I am currently volunteering for Indivisible activist organization so I can definitely work my schedule around anyone's requirements. I live in a great neighborhood with other dogs and lots of space to explore. My apartment is close to the ground floor so I can readily handle house training. I follow your instructions to the letter, using a crate or not, special diet, etc. There will be no need for concern your dog isn't being cared for properly. I keep cords and other dangerous things out of reach of your dog. It is a priority of mine to make sure your dog is safe. I'll be mindful to distract him/her from bad habits like scratching, gnawing on furniture and shoes. I can make the environment as relaxed or controlled as your pet is happiest. It's totally your call and I will happily respect your wishes.
