About: DOG EXPERIENCE: I have been a supportive and loyal dog auntie for 7+ years to many of my closest friends! I have brought their dogs to my home, boarded at theirs, and provided ad hoc walking assistance and play sessions whenever needed for them. CAT EXPERIENCE: I am a lifelong cat parent! I had 2 cats growing up, both of which lived 10+ years with me in my childhood home! After moving to New York, my roommate and I co-parented her cat during our time together until she whisked him away to his permanent vacation home in SF. After moving into my own apartment, I adopted a 1 year old Tuxie who was FELV+. Caring for a cat with special health issues taught me how to be deeply attuned to appetite changes, litter habits, hydration, anxiety, etc. I also developed special skills such as administering various types of medications. While he unfortunately succumbed to his illness last year, I was able to adopt 2 three month old kitten siblings from the same shelter! I have learned through them the dynamics between male vs. female behaviors, post-surgery care with their spay and neuter, and navigating their growth spurts and the varying energy levels of young kittens. I have grown to truly understand what cats need most to thrive in their environments: routines, consistent play time and enrichment, reassurance, and just someone to feel fully safe with. What really drives me to pursue pet sitting is that I have had past experiences with sitters looking after my own pets that have not been satisfying, and since then I’ve been committed to providing support that is punctual and to a tee to the instructions given. I am primarily available on weekends Friday - Sunday at any given time needed starting from 6AM to as late as 11PM. There is flexibility on Mondays through Thursdays post 6PM based on the service required I understand how crucial it is to abide by your pets’ regular routine to a tee. New people are already anxiety-inducing and stressful for them as it is! When it comes to my own cats, I feed them 3x a day by my own hand, with snacks set up on an auto feeder twice a day. Cats need at least 30 mins of enrichment and novelty a day, so I typically play with them and introduce something new in the mornings and at night right before bed. I scoop their litter box 3x a day as well. I can also assist with any grooming needs such a nail clipping, teeth brushing, etc. For dogs, I have always walked them 3x a day for my friends and given at least 10 mins of playtime post walks.
“Nikki & Chris are incredible and treat Harley like their own and communicate incredibly well. Feel comfortable traveling knowing Harley is well taken care of!”

“Mary is amazing she is so sweet and affectionate towards my dog and has been available last minute for extra/ longer walks. I feel good knowing my dog is cared for by her!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 14 years and have loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I had a Havanese, a Maltipoo, and a Spaniel, which gave me experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Since then, I’ve cared for the pets of friends and neighbors, including overnight stays and daily walks. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, senior dogs (including a 19-year-old!), and anxious dogs who need extra patience and reassurance. I can administer oral medications, bathe dogs, clean up accidents, and always follow each pet’s routine closely. My favorite thing about dogs is how curious they are, and I love getting to know each one’s unique personality. Pet care is something I genuinely look forward to—it gives me the opportunity to spend time with dogs, which I’ve missed since moving to New York. I’m a graduate student with a pretty flexible schedule. I’m available most afternoons and evenings and do my best to accommodate each family’s schedule. Whether your pet needs a walk after work, a drop-in visit, or overnight care, I’m committed to providing reliable care and clear communication throughout your booking. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, their safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I’ll carefully follow your instructions, keep them active and engaged, and make sure they feel comfortable while you’re away. I know leaving your pet with someone else requires trust, so communication is incredibly important to me. You can expect frequent updates throughout the day—including morning and evening check-ins and lots of photos—so you’ll always know how your pet is doing. I’m also happy to bring in mail or packages, water plants, and help keep your home just as you left it.
About: I am a native New Yorker and grew up in an apartment with a large breed dog - I have extensive experience walking dogs in Manhattan and know how to keep your furry child safe and exercised. I have extensive experience watching senior dogs and puppies for our friends and family. I have a 6 year old Shiba Inu, Boris, who I've had since he was a puppy and trained. As any dog parent knows, the unexpected is expected with a pup, and my years of experience enable me to monitor behavior and habit and identify anything of concern. I 100% WFH and will always be with your pup. I live in NYC dog paradise in a private community filled with safe, clean paved sidewalks to stroll your pup! I am a business owner and I WFH, so your dog will never be left alone. I am available to take your pup out for walks throughout the day. Your dog will have a blast staying with us! We live in Stuyvesant Town which is a beautiful private community next to the East River filled with greenery, and clean, safe paved sidewalks to stroll on. Without car traffic, pups enjoy peaceful and nature-filled walks. We also have a small fenced-in dog run in our community that our pup enjoys, and I can take your pup there too if your pup is comfortable with, and behaves well in, social dog settings. While at home, your pup is welcome to lounge on the couch, in a dog bed, or even in our bed! If you have trained your dog not to lounge on furniture and/or have crate trained your dog, I can also accommodate that. As a dog dad myself, the most important thing for me is trust in the person watching Boris - that the sitter will love Boris like their own pup and that if should something unexpected happen, I can trust the sitter to take action appropriately. Rest assured that your pup will be loved and pampered just like Boris is, and will be walked by someone who is confident, assertive, and very observant. You should be able to enjoy your time away worry-free and knowing that your pup will be kept safe and happy!

About: Since I was a kid I’ve had puppies, senior dogs, dogs in need of medicine, and dogs who pull. I’ve also been the caretaker for a few loving cats over the years! I just moved to the city and thought the best way to get to know my new home would be through getting to know the pets that call NYC home! I currently live with two dogs and am unable to host your pets in my home unfortunately but I hope to change that very soon!
“Sonya was friendly and flexible when our plans changed. She visited for a meet and greet, and my Goldendoodle warmed up to her right away. Glad to meet a nice and closeby sitter!”

“Cheryl is responsive and reliable, great with my dog my Lilah who is a new rescue adjusting to NYC life. She loves their long walks and play time!”

“Eleanor was a great walker for my dog, Nova! She was very communicative about everything while I was away. I really appreciated her care to accommodate all of Nova’s quirks. Highly recommend!”

About: I have taken care of dogs for years! I have experience with puppies, dogs with diabetes and blindness too. I have also fostered small puppies to medium sized dogs for 2 years now. I have a special place in my heart for dogs and they make me so happy!! I work full time but at a hybrid job. My job is flexible and I can work from home more when taking care of a dog. I am available most weekday evenings and nights. My apartment is very spacious for a small dog to run around and play in. Also I have set up water/food bowls and blankets for them!
“Brismar has been walking our 4-month-old puppy and the puppy loves it. The reports we get back are helpful, like today “she is more obedient now, maybe because she trusts me more” and “I got a lot of kisses.””

“Appreciated Phillip working with my schedule and covering for my usual dog care. He has an awesome attitude and was great with my little fussy fur boy. I will definitely reach out to Phillip again!”

“Thank you again for all the attention you gave Molly. We hope to arrange sitting time with you again in the future! We felt very comfortable leaving her with you. She was in good hands!”

About: Hi! I’m Esther - a lifelong animal lover who’s raised dogs from high school through adulthood and now has a pup of my own. I know firsthand how much trust it takes to leave your fur baby with someone new, and I care for every pet with the same patience, gentleness, and consistency I give my own. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, temperaments, and little quirks - from shy rescues to playful puppies to senior sweethearts who need extra support. I’m attentive to animal body language and emotional needs, and I always take the time to make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and understood. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I can reliably drop in throughout the day - rain or shine - to keep your pet’s routine consistent. Whether your fur baby needs walks, meals, medication, enrichment time, or just extra cuddles, I’m happy to tailor my care to exactly what they need. Safety and cleanliness are extremely important to me. I always refresh water bowls, follow feeding routines closely, and make sure everything is secure before I leave. If you let me know where your trash can and cleaning supplies are, I’m more than happy to clean up any little “oopsies.” I can also vacuum or sweep up any litter that adventurous kitties might track around - whatever helps keep your home tidy and your pets comfortable. I also keep a close eye on pets at all times and send updates, photos, or videos so you always feel connected and at ease while you’re away.
About: I've had dogs early in life. I cared for dogs in the home and on a farm I lived for 10 years in Oklahoma. I can adapt to lively and shy dogs alike. I am currently volunteering for Indivisible activist organization so I can definitely work my schedule around anyone's requirements. I live in a great neighborhood with other dogs and lots of space to explore. My apartment is close to the ground floor so I can readily handle house training. I follow your instructions to the letter, using a crate or not, special diet, etc. There will be no need for concern your dog isn't being cared for properly. I keep cords and other dangerous things out of reach of your dog. It is a priority of mine to make sure your dog is safe. I'll be mindful to distract him/her from bad habits like scratching, gnawing on furniture and shoes. I can make the environment as relaxed or controlled as your pet is happiest. It's totally your call and I will happily respect your wishes.

Isabelle is an incredible dog walker/sitter. I could not recommend her enough. She is so patient and kind, and her love and care for animals is evident. Our rescue pup needs extra attention and patience, and Isabelle is always so generous with the care she gives him. It was our first time using Rover so we were a bit nervous but Isabelle made us feel assured and we trusted that our puppy would be in good hands.

Kathrin is extremely reliable, responsive, and caring. She is flexible, communicative, and dependable. She went the extra mile to provide extraordinary care and long walks for our dog. Her updates were quick, transparent, and thorough. We will be booking again soon.
