“Adam was lovely and great with Sage. Gave a a bit of time on the first meeting for Sage to acclimate! Very easy and friendly to communicate with as well! Sage came back tired from the walk which means she was happy!”

“Victoria and Danial are such an adorable people. They are clearly dog people, and came especially for meet & greet before the scheduled, and made immediately a great connection with my dog, Lola. They picked her up the day after for a walk right on time, took her for a nice walk around and updated me all the time, as well as sent cute photos. They are VERY responsible and had such a great communication with Lola and me. It was a pleasure to meet you guys. Victoria and Daniel, thank you so much for the flexibility, will certainly book again (already did).”

About: I grew up with family dogs my entire life, and finally got my own dog, Nala (9 lb mini Cavapoo) 3 years ago! I wished for her every birthday of my childhood and she was so well worth the wait. I love helping my best friends out with their dogs and I feel we have a very tight knit community here in seaport. I have a full time job Monday-Friday, but I only go into the office 1-2 days maximum, for a few hours each based around my meetings. I’m home almost all day every day with Nala, and often walk my other best friends dogs in the building a few times/days a week to help out with their schedules and vice versa. I have a large bedroom apartment that is very puppy safe. I do have a crate and wee wee pads if needed, as well as a gate to block them out of an area if that’s needed as well. My dog Nala is a lover girl and adores all other dogs and loves to play.
“Arianna is amazing! Marlo is a very nervous dog and she devoted extra time to making him feel comfortable. Marlo really came out of his shell after her first visit which is a huge accomplishment. As a rover walker myself I would book with Arianna whenever I need a walker for my own pups. She is quick to respond and is just such a kind person. She really cares about the animals she looks after and will go above and beyond for them.”

“So friendly and genuinely loves pets! Mercy has been really gentle and kind with my dog. I have never hired a dog walker before so was hesitant but she met me and my dog Winnie before the first walk and had a video chat with me as well. I could just tell she was great with pets. Sends me photos of the walks they are on also! Highly recommend!”

“Anna was amazing with my puppy! Her level of communication was reassuring and so appreciated. She took great care of her on her walks. My puppy can be a bit skeptical of new people but loved her immediately. Can’t wait to use Anna again!”

“Britni has been a very caring, responsible and reliable person. She's proactive and communicative, and most importantly, she's very loving towards my dog Spike. He looks forward to his walks with her in the mornings. Highly recommend Britni to entrust her care of your furry babies.”

“Mariele was great. This was my first time using Rover and she went out of her way to meet my dog beforehand to make sure he was comfortable with everything! Will definitely use her again!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities and genuinely love giving them affection, attention, and structure. I treat every dog as if they were my own. My goal with Rover is to spend more time with dogs as I prepare to get one of my own in the future. I prioritize bonding through quality time, cuddles, and attentive care. I only take care of one dog at a time, so I can devote 100% of my attention to your pet and make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I’m happy to accommodate your dog’s individual needs, routines, and energy levels, and I make sure they get ample exercise and positive reinforcement. Availability: • Tuesdays & Thursdays: evenings (around 6–7 PM onward) • Fridays: flexible • Saturdays: available except 9:30 AM–1 PM (class) I’m open to recurring walks and am available around Tribeca and the Financial District. I can take care of pets and walk them on weekends, Fridays, and Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-7 PM. I would ideally walk them around Fidi and Tribeca on WSH outside of my working and school hours. I can do drop-ins or walks and am open to other negotiations. If you have specific directions on how to care for your pet, I am happy to adhere to them. I love going outside and doing long leashed walks through nearby parks and open areas, always following the owner's instructions. I can play fetch with them or any other games you suggest :)
About: As a dog mom myself (foster fail!), I know how important it is to find good care for your pup. My dog Winnie now lives in the suburbs with my parents, and I'd love to be able to get my dog "fix" in the city through Rover. Winnie is a pit bull mix and I've learned so much about raising a dog in the city! I would love to care for your pup with walks, visits, house sitting, or whatever your needs are. I'm working full time, and commute into the office 4 days per week. I'm available on the weekends, as well as Fridays for dog walking, dog boarding, dog sitting, and playtime. I'm an avid walker and would be happy to explore with your pup. I live and work in the Financial District, but am willing to travel throuhgout the city for dog walking Fri-Sun; or travel anywhere in Manhattan/Brooklyn for house sitting. While I love park walks, I also love hanging at my apartment and would love to hang out with your pup. For boarding purposes: I have a large studio apartment (around 600 sq ft) with plenty of cozy corners for your dog to lounge and get comfortable. I live on a second floor unit with an elevator (and one small set of stairs), so it's easy to get in and outside. Dogs are also welcome on all furniture here!
About: I’ve grown up surrounded by a variety of pets, including our family dogs, rabbits, hamsters, fish, and a neighborhood cat named George. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of babysitting dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens for friends and family. I’m excited to connect with fellow pet owners in the city and rekindle my love for caring for animals, something I’ve truly missed in my life. I am fully remote working from home Monday through Friday. I am usually pretty flexibility depending on the request and typically stay in the city most weekends. I fully respect my clients' space, recognizing that I am a guest in their home, and will make sure to leave everything exactly as I found it. I'm a highly organized person and will only carry out tasks as requested or permitted based on the pet care needed. Of course, I’ll always make sure to spend extra time showering the cat or dog with love and earning their trust. :)
“Coby was great - he came through at the last minute, was timely, responsive & sent updates & photos…and I know a Boomer really appreciated his afternoon walks! Thank you!!”

“Cassandra is the best! Frankie can be nervous around new people and Cassandra was very patient with her. Cassandra also communicates well and sends lots of updates and pictures. Highly recommend her for anyone in need of a walker!!”

“I’m so grateful to Samantha and Laura for stepping in when another sitter bailed at the last minute. They were incredibly responsive, communicative, and kind from the very first message — which immediately put me at ease. They took my pup on long, thoughtful walks and were especially mindful about her comfort, checking in to ask whether she preferred solo walks or small group outings. That level of care and attentiveness really stood out and made me feel like she was in excellent hands. They sent ample pics of her frolicking in the snow and gave reports of whether she did her business. I would book Samantha and Laura again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, caring sitters who truly pay attention to a dog’s individual needs. 🐾💛”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, and feed their pets for years. I had my own dog for 15 wonderful years, so I understand just how much love and attention they deserve. I’ll treat your pup as if they were my own and make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I currently work full-time from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets throughout the day. Whether your pup needs long walks, playtime, or just some company while you’re at work, I’ve got you covered! I live in a safe, spacious apartment right next to beautiful parks and water, perfect for walks and outdoor time. My home is dog-friendly and calm, and I’ll always keep your pet’s comfort and safety as my top priority.

“Kirsi was great with Tasha. She bonded quickly with my shy dog and got the couch potato to do long walks even in the rain. In addition, she was lovely to deal with in every way.”
Financial District dog parents share their Rover experiences
Brandon is truly incredible. From day one he’s been reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring with our dog Darla. Our dog comes back happier, calmer, and better exercised every time. Brandon is always on time, sends updates when needed, and is extremely professional. If you are looking for someone trustworthy to walk or take care of your dog, Brandon is your guy! We couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Lucy is amazing with my dog Teddy. She goes the extra mile to make sure he is comfortable and happy (and even takes the extra step of wiping his paws after a muddier walk). You can tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after. I can’t recommend her enough!
