About: We are a husband & wife dog lover duo, with a 10lb maltipoo furbaby, Chance, who are specialized in taking care of small dogs - ensuring they feel loved, comfortable and entertained while you’re away. From scenic and sensorial walks & fetch sessions by the West Side Highway to cozy cuddle sessions at home, we provide a balanced environment for your dog to feel at home. Our experience includes taking care of small breeds with various temperaments, so we’re confident we can handle your pup’s specific needs! Our dog, Chance, is an 10lb maltipoo who loves other small dogs. We’ve taught him various tricks like sit, stay, paw, and ‘bang bang’, and we love sharing that knowledge with other dogs. We adapt our care to each dog’s personality, ensuring they get the right balance of mental stimulation and relaxation. Whether it’s playtime, puzzle games, or cuddles, your dog will feel right at home! We also provide dedicated daily walking services, giving your pup structured exercise, fresh air, and gentle leash guidance tailored to their specific energy level and pace! Our daily routine is pretty relaxed, which allows us to dedicate time to caring for dogs. Danny's work schedule is hybrid and Karen is fully remote! We walk Chance in the morning and evening for 30 minutes. The afternoon walks are 30–90 minutes along the water on the West Side Highway. We can adjust the walk length based on your dog’s needs, whether it's a quick stroll or a longer adventure! We live in a 600 square foot 1-bedroom apartment where your dog will feel right at home. Your pup can sleep with us in the same room or right outside, depending on the pup's preference. We can also set up a pee station if needed, though you’d just need to bring it as Chance is fully potty trained to go outside.
About: Dogs have been an important part of my life since I was a teenager, beginning with my family's Border Collie, Gracie. Over the years, I've personally cared for dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages and personalities, including dogs that required extra patience and attention. My professional pet-care experience includes working through Wag in both Florida and New York City. Altogether, I've walked and cared for approximately 60 dogs. That experience has taught me that every dog is different. Some are energetic and adventurous, while others need a calmer, more patient approach. What matters most to me is understanding what makes your dog comfortable and following your instructions carefully. I know how much trust it takes to put your pet—and your home—in someone else's hands. I take that responsibility seriously and want every owner to feel confident that their pet is being cared for by someone who genuinely cares about them. Pet care is my full-time focus, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week, including weekends. I'm available for dog walking, drop-in visits and house sitting, and I'm happy to work with each client's individual schedule and their pet's unique needs. Your pet's safety and your peace of mind are extremely important to me. I carefully follow each owner's instructions and routines, keep dogs securely leashed outdoors, stay aware of my surroundings, and make sure doors and entrances are secure. Communication is also very important to me. Through my experience with Wag, I regularly provided owners with a report after each walk so they knew how their dog was doing. I believe pet parents should feel informed and comfortable while their pet is in my care, and I'm always happy to provide updates.

About: I treat every dog like my own, taking the time to understand their personality, needs and little quirks while making every walk fun and safe! I am available most of the time with a flexible schedule. I also work part time but I’m happy to coordinate around your pup’s needs! I provide a safe, clean and comfortable environment while following each pet’s routine and individual needs. I give them consistent attention, supervision, exercise, and care
About: Volunteered at an animal rescue for four years in high school, 2016-2020. Volunteered 1200 hours- cleaned cages, helped adoptions run smoothly, fed animals, worked with supervisor to keep rescue updated online, edited rescue's website, took pictures and posted them, and trained new volunteers. Also worked in a veterinary hospital for a couple months in the kennel department giving medication, cleaning cages, and ensured animals well being. My schedule is free at the moment while I continue my search for a full time job. Looking to earn some money in a fun way! I monitor their behaviors. Make sure their eating, drinking, defecating as normal. If left with additional instructions, I follow them and make sure the animal is happy and healthy.
“Hillary is amazing! I accidentally gave the wrong address because I just moved and didn’t realize I hadn’t updated my profile, and she was so understanding and went to the second location anyway. I am so grateful! She was very communicative before and during, and I’m so thankful she was able to help me with my pup !”

“Jessie has been amazing for my pup Kevin after daily walks. I’d recommend her to anyone that asks and plan to continue having Jessie walk Kevin for as long as possible!”

About: I have grown up my whole life with dogs - big and small! I was currently taking care of my Havanese dog Button who made it to her 18th birthday. We are very thankful we got 18 years with Button and are now happy to help care for your dogs if you need it! I am very familiar with the senior care needs if that’s something you are looking for - I do understand the nerves, the needs, the extra attention - I completely get it if you are someone who needs help in that area. We also have a dog bed here, pet wipes, & box of toys! I do remote work at home and have a very flexible schedule. I like to take my daily walks around the neighborhood and would be happy to help get your dog some fresh air and stretch their legs if they need it or even a mid day check in for your pet! My husband Patrick also works from home some days - some days in office so there is someone at home at most times. He also loves pets and we welcome any pet! My older dog Button lived with my husband & I and stayed indoor mostly to rest since she was a bit older - the biggest safety trick I had for her are steps to the couch and bed to help with her joints and muscles. We also had grippy socks on her, medicine to administer, someone with her all the time, we also had a sling so we could take her everywhere.
“Summer was a fantastic walker and I highly recommend her! She was able to jump in last minute when another walker cancelled and was very flexible. I got a lot of updates and photos during the walk!”

“George was prompt and extremely sweet. He and my dog Blaze hit it off immediately. When Blaze came back he was exhausted .I would recommend him and it de him in the future.”

“Andrew is truly a caring and exceptional sitter. His manner, attitude, and sense of responsibility are top notch. I don’t say these things lightly, and truly mean it when I say it. Me and Simba are so thankful to him for all the love and attention he gives him.”

“Gustav had a wonderful time with Gloria! I really appreciated all the photos that Gloria posted before, during and after Gustav's walks. So grateful for Gloria's help while I was away.”

“We have a pit bull who takes some time to warm up to new people and can pull on walks, but Siri has done amazing with him. She’s also great with coordinating walks while we’re away at work. We couldn’t be happier!”

About: I grew up in Santa Fe with two cats and a dog, and I’ve been dog sitting since I was 12. That’s over a decade of feeding schedules, medication routines, long walks, and figuring out what makes a nervous animal relax. I’ve always found my way to a pet’s heart, whether that’s a puppy who won’t sit still or a senior who just wants company on the couch. Now I’m a student in Manhattan with a flexible schedule, so I’m available for midday walks and drop-ins when most people are stuck at work. I’ll send photos after every visit so you know your pet is happy. I’m currently taking classes online over the summer, which allows me to have a very flexible schedule and be available for walks, check-ins, and pet care throughout the day. I’m able to give pets plenty of attention and make sure they stay on their usual routines while their owners are away. I’m reliable, communicative, and always happy to send photos and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is in good hands. I care for pets in your home, so my job is to leave everything exactly as you keep it. I follow your feeding amounts, your leash and harness setup, your litter routine, and any rules about furniture, doors, or windows. I confirm the door is locked and the cat is accounted for before I leave every single time. On walks I keep dogs leashed the whole way, avoid dog to dog contact unless you tell me it’s fine, and stay away from crowded blocks with a nervous dog. I send a photo and a short update after each visit so you know what happened while you were out.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Chelsea
Paul was very responsible and reliable. I made a mistake with the addresses, but he was still able to handle the walk and provide great service. I really appreciate his flexibility and professionalism. I’ll definitely use his service again in the future. Highly recommend!

Issy and her boyfriend were so kind and easy to communicate with. I had a last-minute booking for dog walking and she was so sweet and really accommodating to my schedule. I could tell that my dog really enjoyed his walk with her and would highly recommend/rebook her!

Franco is awesome to work with. He clicked with my pup from the first time they met, and she probably looks forward to seeing him more than me! He brings her on thorough walks, plays with her, and sends pictures and notes about their walks. I can’t recommend him enough!

Dani is a GEM! She jumped in last minute to help out my mom who was in the hospital and couldn't walk her dog. She was thoughtful and communicative and followed my detailed instructions about how to access my mom's apt and gain the trust of her shy pup. She made a stressful time much easier for our family.
