It is hard enough to leave our fur babies in the care of a friend or family member, but it is an more nerve-wracking experience to place them into the care of a stranger. Michael assuaged those fears before we even met him! He asked all the right questions about our boy's needs from the get-go (he's a large senior dog with arthritis) and gave me frequent updates and pictures of how he was doing. He walked our boy judiciously and gave him all of his food and medications just as we would. He was wonderful. It was such a relief knowing that our boy was in such capable, caring hands. We're in town for work but are lucky enough to have weekends off. We picked our boy up today and he looked so happy and healthy. Michael did such a great job that we're going to utilize his services again next week. I just can't say enough good things about him.”

I just love them so much :) My husband and I have cared for our disabled Labrador since she was 5 months old (she’s now 7), so I’m very comfortable with special needs and senior dogs. Our dog, Chance, is an 10lb maltipoo who loves other small dogs. We’ve taught him various tricks like sit, stay, paw, and ‘bang bang’, and we love sharing that knowledge with other dogs. We adapt our care to each dog’s personality, ensuring they get the right balance of mental stimulation and relaxation. Whether it’s playtime, puzzle games, or cuddles, your dog will feel right at home! Our daily routine is pretty relaxed, which allows us to dedicate time to caring for dogs. Danny's work schedule is hybrid and Karen is fully remote! We walk Chance in the morning and evening for 30 minutes. The afternoon walks are 30–90 minutes along the water on the West Side Highway. We can adjust the walk length based on your dog’s needs, whether it's a quick stroll or a longer adventure! We live in a 600 square foot 1-bedroom apartment where your dog will feel right at home. Your pup can sleep with us in the same room or right outside, depending on the pup's preference. We can also set up a pee station if needed, though you’d just need to bring it as Chance is fully potty trained to go outside.

“Booked a last min 5 night stay for my senior golden retriever! I sent an essay of instruction and Starry + Gio did an amazing job taking care of him. It was literally the coldest winter/weekend in NJ/NY area in the past 10+ years. They kept me updated constantly with walk pics throughout the day and pics of him in general! I was very happy to know that their dog (Walnut) is a sweetheart and gets along well with my dog! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable and responsible couple to dog sit. “Patrice and Alex were wonderful with Rooney. They took care of him very well, made sure he had lots of fun, and took care of his needs. We got consistent photo updates from Pat and Alex, and they were so thorough in making sure Rooney felt safe, comfortable, and cared for. They slowly introduced him into their home and were extremely attentive to his needs. Pepper was a lovely friend for Rooney too, being so gentle and sweet. They had a meet and greet before boarding and they got along well. We're so grateful to have found them because Rooney came home with his energy spent and full of joy because of what a great time he had. This is the first time he's boarded with Pat, Alex, and Pepper, but it definitely won't be the last!”
“First time booking on Rover. Elaine is very accommodating and I was able to book her on short notice. I have a six month old pug puppy who is very energetic and just got a neuter surgery, and she was able to accommodate his needs and care for him. She sent photos while I was away, mainly of him napping so I know he was tired out. She provided feedback on his pulling behaviors on walks and suggested different types of harnesses. I will definitely book her again, and thank you, Elaine!”

“Tamara was actively engaged with our 2 Westies and took excellent care of them. She kept us informed of their activities with notes on what they were doing, how they were acting, and sent lots of pictures. They went on walks and got to hang around the house (like they normally do at home! ;) ) I think she really spoiled them (in a good way!). They had a wonderful time with her. We don't go to NYC often, but when we go next time and need a sitter, we'll definitely ask for Tamara again!!! She gets an A+++++ rating!!!”

“We had a wonderful experience boarding our puppy with Ayush. From the start, communication was excellent, and we felt completely at ease leaving our puppy in his care. He provided regular updates, photos, and videos, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Our puppy came home happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. It was obvious that Ayush genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs and treated our puppy like part of the family. We especially appreciated our puppy having new friends to play with (Ayush’s dogs).
