I’ve cared for dogs and cats of every temperament, from anxious rescues to high-energy breeds, so I adapt to what your pet actually needs rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. That includes walking specifically — I’m comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and energy levels through busy NYC streets and parks, keeping a steady pace, staying alert around traffic and other dogs, and making sure leash manners are respected the whole way. Whether your pup needs a calm stroll or a more active outing to burn off energy, I’ll tailor the walk to what they need. Across the board, I’m responsive and communicative — you’ll get a thoughtful update after every visit, not just a quick “all good.” As a graduate student, I have a flexible schedule that lets me build pet care around consistent, dependable windows rather than squeezing it in between other commitments. I’m available for recurring weekday walks and visits, and I can also accommodate midday slots that fit well around a typical 9-5 workday. If your pet needs the same time each day for routine and consistency, I can make that a priority. Your home and your pet’s safety are always my top priority. I follow your instructions exactly — keys are kept secure, doors and locks are double-checked on entry and exit, and I never let dogs off-leash outside unless you’ve explicitly told me it’s safe to do so. For drop-ins, I do a quick walkthrough to make sure everything’s as it should be — food, water, and litter refreshed, no signs of anything unusual — before I leave. I treat your space the way I’d want mine treated, and I’m always reachable if anything comes up during a visit.

About: A lifelong animal lover, I’ve had 16 Labradors over the years and have regularly dog-sat for two close friends for the past two and a half years. I’m experienced, reliable and caring, and very comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes and personalities, as well as animals in general. Caring for pets fits very naturally into my routine. I currently have a very flexible schedule while caring for a family friend, so I can easily accommodate walks, feeding, playtime, companionship and overnight stays when needed. I’m very caring and attentive around animals, and when a pet is in my care, they are my number one priority. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable and relaxed, while closely following their usual routine, feeding, walks and any specific instructions from their owner.

About: I grew up caring for my three dogs (Prince, Sophie, and Teddy), so I’m comfortable with different breeds, personalities, and needs. I’ve also pet sat for years, including pet sitting a busy household with eight cats! I’m patient, attentive, and truly treat every pet like family. I work full-time remotely with just a few short meetings each day, so I’m home and able to give pets lots of attention, walks, and playtime throughout the day. After business hours, I’m very flexible, which makes overnight care, evenings, and weekends easy to accommodate I treat every pet like they’re my own! I stick closely to their normal routine (e.g. feeding schedules, walks, playtime, meds, and lots of cuddles!). I keep spaces clean, send regular updates/photos, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away so you can relax.

About: Besides my own dogs, volunteered at Animal Haven,,went to grooming school, Am experienced with senior dogs, administering meds is no problem, know CPR for dogs I run my own hairstyling business from home, part time,,make my own schedule,,so have plenty of time to drop in for walks, play or care. I am not able to bring your babies into my home at this time, my little girl is almost 17 and it would disrupt her "golden years, yet in your home I would treat your babies as my own...

About: I’ve been a pet owner since I was a teenager, caring for multiple puppies throughout my life. I love the feeling when I come home and my sassy girl Phoebe welcomes me with open arms, even if I’ve only been absent a few minutes. She is always so happy to see me no matter the circumstances.
