About: I've had my own dog for years as well as dog-sitting friends and family, making me quite comfortable with different dogs and the personalities that come with them! I love staying active with dogs by taking them on walks and playing with them, as well as simply keeping company indoors. Making dogs happy and comfortable makes me happy! I'm a full time student with breaks throughout my day allowing me to check in on dogs between classes. My class schedule is as follows: Monday: 2:30pm-6:30pm Tuesday: 8am-10am, 1pm-5:30pm Wednesday: 10am-11:30am Thursday:2:30pm-6:30pm Friday: 8am- 2:30pm Other commitments outside of my classes may vary but will be provided if they are to interfere with possible sittings. I like to keep dog sitting as close to their usual routine as possible so dogs can feel comfortable while their owner is away. I also consider myself a bit of a "clean freak" so I can ensure I won't leave behind clutter, leaving your home the way I found it. I keep in touch with pictures and updates throughout the visit so you're confident your dog is in good hands!

I'm skilled at reading body language, understanding stress and anxiety, and adjusting my approach to each individual pet's needs. I have hands-on experience with puppies and with dogs who struggle with separation anxiety, so I know how to build trust, create structure, and help them feel calm and secure. I work from home, so your pets will get consistent, attentive company throughout the day rather than being left alone for long stretches. It also means my schedule is flexible to accommodate your timings. I will treat every pet with patience and affection, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for the whole time they're with me.

“Rhage was only accustomed to three people walking him - myself, my daughter (his owner) and my nephew. His first experience with Richard was like “What the hell. Who is this person?” He wasn’t happy about the walk. I think it was in his mind that if one of the three weren’t the one to walk him it wasn’t a real walk. Fast forward, five walks later. He actually greeted Richard today with a wagging tail and kind of jumping up on him. That made me happy. He is my granddog after all. I am also happy. It was hard for me to hand him off to someone I didn’t know. I gave Richard five stars because he did a good job and he has won our trust.”

About: I have had dogs since I was born; however, I got my own puppy when I was six. I started training her when I was little and am still teaching her new tricks to this day, even though she is now 13. What sets me apart is that I have owned dogs since I was born and have had varied species, from a Pitbull to a Pomeranian; with this, I understand that all dogs have different personalities, routines, energy levels, and more. I'm comfortable caring for dogs that have high energy levels and would like to play every second of every day, and dogs that would rather sit on the couch and relax. I'm familiar with puppies because relatives, friends, and others have trusted me with their puppies to babysit and train. I have also petsitted for senior dogs and understand that, unlike puppies or adult dogs, they need a slower pace and, in some cases, more care. I'm extremely observant of not only the dog I am looking after and their body language, but also the people and animals around to ensure the safety of everyone. I treat every dog I take care of I treat them as if they are my own and build trust with the dog over time. I am currently in school and am free all of Saturday and Sunday. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I am free after 6 pm. On Tuesdays and Fridays, I am free after 1 pm, and on Thursdays I am free from 11:30-3, then free again after 6 pm. I can't care for pets in my own home because I live in a dorm. However, when I am in a client's home, I always remember that I am in someone else's space, and their privacy and space must be respected at all times. I only go into rooms and areas needed based on the pet, and ensure the space looks the same as when I came in. If a client's home has a schedule for the pet, or if a schedule is given, I ensure I follow instructions precisely.

About: Dogs have been part of my life since day one. I grew up with (the only chill) Dalmatian and have spent the last 12 years raising Michael Jordan — yes, that's really his name. He's our sweet, senior black Lab that my son named after his basketball hero (and trust me, MJ earned it; he used to get serious air as a pup). Caring for dogs isn't something I picked up as a hobby; it's simply what I do. Beyond my own furbaby, I've cared for a range of dogs for friends and family: in-home sitting for Maddy, an adorable Maltipoo, and Charlie, a big lovable brindle Boxer; and dog walking for Luca, a high-energy Giant Schnauzer, plus my favorite French Bulldogs (Gigi & Lambeau!), a few treat-loving Labs (Lex and Hank the Tank!), and several velcro Dachshunds along the way. I'll confirm feeding schedules, walk times, any medications, and your preferred check-in style before we get started. About: I love animals and going for long walks, playing games and overall just enjoy spending my free time taking care of others and the those who they love!! I’m currently in college but am always looking for something to fill my days with and keep myself busy while also doing what I love. In general I’m a very cautious individual and will always care for your pet as best as I can and will always follow instructions very well. My schedule is super flexible and I’m able to spend lots of time at home if needed. I’ll always try my best to be as accommodating as possible. I live in a apartment so everything is pretty safe, I’m super cautious with where I leave things so no accidents happen and I’m really attentive in general.
