About: I’m new to Rover but not new to taking care of pups! Last year I fostered dogs through Hearts and Bones for 4 months when my schedule allowed for it. Also, I have been a dog walker and over night caretaker for many friends and families dogs! I love dogs and all pets, I look after them with care and kindness. I have experience with dogs who have special needs and one of my fosters dogs had surgery while I was taking care of him so I am also familiar with many situations! Hello! This summer I transitioned from being a software engineer to a student to pursue my Tech MBA at NYU. Most days I have one class from 9am-noon near Washington Square Park then spend my rest of the day in the area or back home in Williamsburg near Mccaren Park. I am very trustworthy and respectful of everyone’s space. For dog walking and sitting I am very good with instructions and you can count on me to take the best care of your pet!

About: I grew up with three dogs, all over 80 pounds, and walked them daily. We also spent a lot of time hiking together, so I'm comfortable handling dogs with plenty of energy. I'm stronger than I look and confident managing larger dogs while keeping walks safe, fun, and enjoyable. I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and making sure every dog gets the exercise, attention, and care they deserve. Whether your dog loves long walks, hikes, or a slower-paced stroll, I'll make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for. I'm currently on summer break from college, so I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate a wide range of pet care needs. Whether you need morning, afternoon, evening, or weekend care, I'm happy to work with your schedule. I value being reliable, punctual, and making sure each pet gets the time, attention, and care they deserve. Because I live in an apartment, I'm not able to board pets in my own home. However, I'm happy to provide care in a client's home, where pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. I carefully follow each owner's instructions for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any special needs. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and treat every pet with patience, kindness, and respect. My goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while giving owners peace of mind that their pets are in good hands.

About: DOG EXPERIENCE: I have been a supportive and loyal dog auntie for 7+ years to many of my closest friends! I have brought their dogs to my home, boarded at theirs, and provided ad hoc walking assistance and play sessions whenever needed for them. CAT EXPERIENCE: I am a lifelong cat parent! I had 2 cats growing up, both of which lived 10+ years with me in my childhood home! After moving to New York, my roommate and I co-parented her cat during our time together until she whisked him away to his permanent vacation home in SF. After moving into my own apartment, I adopted a 1 year old Tuxie who was FELV+. Caring for a cat with special health issues taught me how to be deeply attuned to appetite changes, litter habits, hydration, anxiety, etc. I also developed special skills such as administering various types of medications. While he unfortunately succumbed to his illness last year, I was able to adopt 2 three month old kitten siblings from the same shelter! I have learned through them the dynamics between male vs. female behaviors, post-surgery care with their spay and neuter, and navigating their growth spurts and the varying energy levels of young kittens. I have grown to truly understand what cats need most to thrive in their environments: routines, consistent play time and enrichment, reassurance, and just someone to feel fully safe with. What really drives me to pursue pet sitting is that I have had past experiences with sitters looking after my own pets that have not been satisfying, and since then I’ve been committed to providing support that is punctual and to a tee to the instructions given. I am primarily available on weekends Friday - Sunday at any given time needed starting from 6AM to as late as 11PM. There is flexibility on Mondays through Thursdays post 6PM based on the service required I understand how crucial it is to abide by your pets’ regular routine to a tee. New people are already anxiety-inducing and stressful for them as it is! When it comes to my own cats, I feed them 3x a day by my own hand, with snacks set up on an auto feeder twice a day. Cats need at least 30 mins of enrichment and novelty a day, so I typically play with them and introduce something new in the mornings and at night right before bed. I scoop their litter box 3x a day as well. I can also assist with any grooming needs such a nail clipping, teeth brushing, etc. For dogs, I have always walked them 3x a day for my friends and given at least 10 mins of playtime post walks.

About: I grew up in a dog-loving family with at least two labradors in the house at all times, so from a very young age I learned not only how to bond with dogs but also that I can’t live without them! Whenever I see a dog in the city, I can’t help but smile, and I’ve been missing the daily interactions I had with them before moving. I’d love to make your dog’s day brighter with fresh air and exercise, and make mine better by spending time with them too! I currently work hybrid, so I can work from home three times a week giving me plenty of time to care for and walk dogs. I also never work weekends and love to spend my Saturdays and Sundays taking long walks and doing fun activities outside, so I would love to incorporate dog walking into that! I live in an apartment near the Westside Highway which is great for walking dogs in a more spacious, grassy area. My apartment is very dog-friendly, there are lots of other dogs in the building. I have a large living room area with plenty of room for any sized dog if I were to pet sit.

About: Full-time dog walker and devoted animal lover offering the best of my humanity to the service of our dearest friends the pets. I capture priceless daily updates and insights of my services and input (videos of every walk and portraits of every pet) and I send them to you after each walk. I work full-time as an animal caregiver with deep intention and purpose giving my all for the cause. I will get anywhere I am needed, anytime; scheduling ahead is most ideal to organize other walks around the city, but I can also do last minute things if I am allowed a 90 minutes window to make it in case I am in a different area. It is well known that my care for animals transcends feeding them and giving them water; I make sure that every walk is an opportunity to build and/or maintain positive behavioral patterns while addressing any “undesirable” patterns that could be exhibited with patience, understanding and the right amount of love… at the end of the day, it gives me unmeasurable pleasure to see animals safe, content and relaxed.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 14 years and have loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I had a Havanese, a Maltipoo, and a Spaniel, which gave me experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Since then, I’ve cared for the pets of friends and neighbors, including overnight stays and daily walks. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, senior dogs (including a 19-year-old!), and anxious dogs who need extra patience and reassurance. About: Hi, I’m Lizzie and I can’t wait to meet your pet(s)! I’m new to Rover though I made an account a while back in college. A bit about me: I moved to New York over a year ago after spending the 5 years prior in Los Angeles, but I’m originally from New Jersey. I loved the weather in LA… but I missed good pizza and bagels way too much! I come from a big family (4 siblings!) and have 3 adorable nieces. A few of my favorite things to do are cooking, making spotify playlists, and going on walks to explore new areas or just get some steps in. For work, I do revenue management data analytics for a beer company and am a big fan of going to Madison Square Park on my lunch break to walk laps and see which dogs are the new king or queen of the hill at the dog park. I have always been a dog person and am patiently waiting to move to an apartment where I could own one of my own! I grew up living with my oldest sister’s two shiba inus and dogsat for 4 different families in high school. I also did dog walking in Santa Monica on and off for 3 years. I’m happy to help with whatever a dog may need, whether it be going for a run, taking medication, getting a bath, or even brushing their teeth. I plan to keep your dogs happy and safe when they’re in my care! I work mostly in office with flexibility to work from home with advance notice. I’m available on weekends and before/after work for shorter notice requests I’m experienced walking any size dog as I’ve ranged from walking 2 adult saint bernards at the same time to walking a chihuahua (that did not enjoy walking!)
