About: DOG EXPERIENCE: I have been a supportive and loyal dog auntie for 7+ years to many of my closest friends! I have brought their dogs to my home, boarded at theirs, and provided ad hoc walking assistance and play sessions whenever needed for them. CAT EXPERIENCE: I am a lifelong cat parent! I had 2 cats growing up, both of which lived 10+ years with me in my childhood home! After moving to New York, my roommate and I co-parented her cat during our time together until she whisked him away to his permanent vacation home in SF. After moving into my own apartment, I adopted a 1 year old Tuxie who was FELV+. Caring for a cat with special health issues taught me how to be deeply attuned to appetite changes, litter habits, hydration, anxiety, etc. I also developed special skills such as administering various types of medications. While he unfortunately succumbed to his illness last year, I was able to adopt 2 three month old kitten siblings from the same shelter! I have learned through them the dynamics between male vs. female behaviors, post-surgery care with their spay and neuter, and navigating their growth spurts and the varying energy levels of young kittens. I have grown to truly understand what cats need most to thrive in their environments: routines, consistent play time and enrichment, reassurance, and just someone to feel fully safe with. What really drives me to pursue pet sitting is that I have had past experiences with sitters looking after my own pets that have not been satisfying, and since then I’ve been committed to providing support that is punctual and to a tee to the instructions given. I am primarily available on weekends Friday - Sunday at any given time needed starting from 6AM to as late as 11PM. There is flexibility on Mondays through Thursdays post 6PM based on the service required I understand how crucial it is to abide by your pets’ regular routine to a tee. New people are already anxiety-inducing and stressful for them as it is! When it comes to my own cats, I feed them 3x a day by my own hand, with snacks set up on an auto feeder twice a day. Cats need at least 30 mins of enrichment and novelty a day, so I typically play with them and introduce something new in the mornings and at night right before bed. I scoop their litter box 3x a day as well. I can also assist with any grooming needs such a nail clipping, teeth brushing, etc. For dogs, I have always walked them 3x a day for my friends and given at least 10 mins of playtime post walks.

I’m on my computer all day and can easily take care of your pet early in the morning, late at night and anytime in between. Caring for pets in your home is what I am aiming for. I won’t be taking them into mine (my roomate doesn’t love pets). But I am longing for more time around them and I am great at following directions for taking care of your pet in your own home. :). About: I’ve had my sweet girl Hazel for six and half years now and have loved caring for her every step of the way. Now that I’m in college, I don’t get the same fix of puppy cuddles that I wish I had! Aside from caring for my own dog, I’ve house-sat and walked dogs for friends and for hire back in my hometown. I would love the opportunity to care and dote on your dogs too! I’m currently a full time business undergrad student at NYU. I can definitely fit in walks and check-ins throughout the week, and during weekends I’m much more available for longer stays and care. I believe I am a very clean and tidy person, and will always leave spaces better than I found them. I was taught from a very young age to respect the spaces and homes of others, especially when I am a guest.

About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a large dog by my side, so I'm completely comfortable with pups of every size. Through volunteering at an animal shelter, I was responsible for walking the dogs in our care, which gave me hands-on experience with all kinds of personalities, including more reactive dogs. I learned how to read canine body language, stay calm and patient in triggering situations, and build trust with dogs who needed a little extra reassurance. I love getting active with dogs, running around, playing fetch, and just having fun together. A tired, happy dog is my favorite kind of dog! Whether your pup is easygoing or needs a more experienced hand, I'll treat them with the same patience and attention I'd want for my own dog. I'm reliable, attentive, and genuinely happiest when I'm out on a walk with a wagging tail beside me. I work freelance and remotely, which gives me a lot of flexibility. I'm available to pet sit any day of the week, and I can fit in dog walks at pretty much any time during the day: mornings, afternoons, or evenings. If you need something outside a typical schedule, just ask! I live in an apartment with my own dog, so your pup will have a friendly companion to play with. My home also has a terrace, which is great for outdoor time, sunshine, and fresh air throughout the day. I keep a close eye on all pets in my care and make sure they feel safe and comfortable in a home environment.

About: I've had multiple dogs at home my entire life and experience with weekend-long pet sitting, so I'm looking for a way to help out fellow dog-lovers. I am highly responsible and want to provide the best experience for you and your dog. I live in an apartment but have a flexible work schedule so your pup will have plenty of walks and cuddles while staying with me. I am flexible to adjust to the needs of you and your dog. I have a very flexible student schedule so am available throughout the work days for walks and play with your pup. I also mostly work from home so your dog will be with someone most hours of the day. I live in an apartment, but there is grass outside and a dog park in my complex. I am available for walks and play time both in and outside. I can accommodate and work from home as needed. I am eager to keep your dog happy and engaged, taking him/her on as many walks as needed. I live in an apartment but am able to take your dog to walk along the West Side Highway, through many neighborhoods or to a dog park if that is something you are comfortable with.
