Hi, I’m Felicia! I live right across from Fort Greene Park, which makes it the perfect spot for long walks and outdoor time with dogs. I’ve been a lifelong animal lover and have lived with both dogs and cats since college. During that time, my homestay host ran a pet-sitting business, so I was constantly around animals and learned early on how to care for them with attention and patience. In 2016, I adopted my dog Jim—he’s truly like my first child. Through raising him, I’ve gained a deeper hands-on experience with daily care, routines, and understanding a dog’s needs and personality, especially a rescued dog. Over the years, I’ve also regularly taken care of dogs for family and friends, whether it’s walks, overnight stays, or just making sure they feel safe and loved while their owners are away.

Dogs have always held a special place in my heart. My adopted dog, Jim, passed away from heart cancer, and caring for him taught me patience, compassion, and how important it is for pets to feel safe and loved. I would love to help care for other people’s dogs as a way to continue sharing that love. I provide a calm, caring, family-friendly environment and always follow each pet owner’s routines, feeding instructions, and safety preferences carefully.

Schedule
I’m a self-employed brand advisor working with children’s makeup, jewelry, and lifestyle brands, so I have a very flexible schedule and can give pets lots of attention throughout the day. As a mom of two, caring for others comes naturally to me. I’m generally available most weekdays and weekends, except from 7:00–8:30 AM daily and 2:00–4:00 PM on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
