About: I’m new to Rover but not new to taking care of pups! Last year I fostered dogs through Hearts and Bones for 4 months when my schedule allowed for it. Also, I have been a dog walker and over night caretaker for many friends and families dogs! I love dogs and all pets, I look after them with care and kindness. I have experience with dogs who have special needs and one of my fosters dogs had surgery while I was taking care of him so I am also familiar with many situations! Hello! This summer I transitioned from being a software engineer to a student to pursue my Tech MBA at NYU. Most days I have one class from 9am-noon near Washington Square Park then spend my rest of the day in the area or back home in Williamsburg near Mccaren Park. I am very trustworthy and respectful of everyone’s space. For dog walking and sitting I am very good with instructions and you can count on me to take the best care of your pet!

About: I’m so looking forward to meeting you and your sweet dogs/cats! My family has several dogs so I know the life of a dog owner well.. I am energetic and playful, so a perfect friend for a dog or cat with high energy and need for lots of attention. I am also perfectly happy to hang out with an animal that takes it a bit slower; My senior pup just recently passed so I have experience there. I have lived with cats several times and have a special place in my heart for them, with plans to hopefully have one myself soon! I understand the particularities of cats and love them for their quirks, immediately assessing their personalities and knowing how they best like to be interacted with. Please feel free to reach out and we can set something up! I currently work in the music industry from 9 AM-6 PM EST Monday-Friday, but am only required in-office two days a week! For that reason I am able to spend full days with your animal on certain days of the week, sometimes varying depending on commitments of that week. My weekend is fairly open so it’s easier to schedule in then! I am pretty flexible and can make things work. I’m an attentive, loving, and perceptive caretaker. I understand animals and enjoy their little personalities, assessing their needs and giving them the best care I can! As their temporary caretaker, I am aware of the responsibility I have to them and will always pay the utmost attention.

About: DOG EXPERIENCE: I have been a supportive and loyal dog auntie for 7+ years to many of my closest friends! I have brought their dogs to my home, boarded at theirs, and provided ad hoc walking assistance and play sessions whenever needed for them. CAT EXPERIENCE: I am a lifelong cat parent! I had 2 cats growing up, both of which lived 10+ years with me in my childhood home! After moving to New York, my roommate and I co-parented her cat during our time together until she whisked him away to his permanent vacation home in SF. After moving into my own apartment, I adopted a 1 year old Tuxie who was FELV+. Caring for a cat with special health issues taught me how to be deeply attuned to appetite changes, litter habits, hydration, anxiety, etc. I also developed special skills such as administering various types of medications. While he unfortunately succumbed to his illness last year, I was able to adopt 2 three month old kitten siblings from the same shelter! I have learned through them the dynamics between male vs. female behaviors, post-surgery care with their spay and neuter, and navigating their growth spurts and the varying energy levels of young kittens. I have grown to truly understand what cats need most to thrive in their environments: routines, consistent play time and enrichment, reassurance, and just someone to feel fully safe with. What really drives me to pursue pet sitting is that I have had past experiences with sitters looking after my own pets that have not been satisfying, and since then I’ve been committed to providing support that is punctual and to a tee to the instructions given. I am primarily available on weekends Friday - Sunday at any given time needed starting from 6AM to as late as 11PM. There is flexibility on Mondays through Thursdays post 6PM based on the service required I understand how crucial it is to abide by your pets’ regular routine to a tee. New people are already anxiety-inducing and stressful for them as it is! When it comes to my own cats, I feed them 3x a day by my own hand, with snacks set up on an auto feeder twice a day. Cats need at least 30 mins of enrichment and novelty a day, so I typically play with them and introduce something new in the mornings and at night right before bed. I scoop their litter box 3x a day as well. I can also assist with any grooming needs such a nail clipping, teeth brushing, etc. For dogs, I have always walked them 3x a day for my friends and given at least 10 mins of playtime post walks.

About: Full-time dog walker and devoted animal lover offering the best of my humanity to the service of our dearest friends the pets. I capture priceless daily updates and insights of my services and input (videos of every walk and portraits of every pet) and I send them to you after each walk. I work full-time as an animal caregiver with deep intention and purpose giving my all for the cause. I will get anywhere I am needed, anytime; scheduling ahead is most ideal to organize other walks around the city, but I can also do last minute things if I am allowed a 90 minutes window to make it in case I am in a different area. It is well known that my care for animals transcends feeding them and giving them water; I make sure that every walk is an opportunity to build and/or maintain positive behavioral patterns while addressing any “undesirable” patterns that could be exhibited with patience, understanding and the right amount of love… at the end of the day, it gives me unmeasurable pleasure to see animals safe, content and relaxed.

About: Experienced dog-walker, dog-sitter, and overall dog-lover. I grew up with a Bichon Havanese, who I raised and took care of for 15 years. Since then, I have gone through great lengths to make friends with as many dogs as possible. I have worked as a dog-walker and pet-sitter in Boston, Florida, and New York, and also dog-sat while working abroad in Central America. These days, I work remotely for a non-profit and have plenty of capacity to care for pups while I’m at home. I am sadly not able to have a dog of my own in my current living situation, so I am always very happy to spend time with friends' and clients' pets! I am excited to be working with Rover because I am excited to connect with new families and continue doing the work that I love the most. Since my work is done completely from home, I have a lot of capacity for pet-setting from my home, and have plenty of time to play and go on walks with your pups. I live in a spacious studio apartment, so your pets will have plenty of room to stretch out and play and have the zoomies, and it’s also very easy for me to keep a close eye on them since there is only one room. Safety is a priority for me.
