About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life ever since I was a kid. After years of dreaming about a Siberian Husky because of Balto, I finally got my own, Koda, and he’s been my best friend for the past 10 years. Caring for him has given me hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding, bathing, grooming, exercise, training, and understanding a dog’s unique personality. I work in hospitality, where reading body language, staying calm under pressure, and anticipating needs are part of my job. Those same instincts carry over naturally when caring for dogs. Every dog is different, and I enjoy getting to know what makes each one feel comfortable, safe, and happy. About: DOG EXPERIENCE: I have been a supportive and loyal dog auntie for 7+ years to many of my closest friends! I have brought their dogs to my home, boarded at theirs, and provided ad hoc walking assistance and play sessions whenever needed for them. CAT EXPERIENCE: I am a lifelong cat parent! I had 2 cats growing up, both of which lived 10+ years with me in my childhood home! After moving to New York, my roommate and I co-parented her cat during our time together until she whisked him away to his permanent vacation home in SF. After moving into my own apartment, I adopted a 1 year old Tuxie who was FELV+. Caring for a cat with special health issues taught me how to be deeply attuned to appetite changes, litter habits, hydration, anxiety, etc. I also developed special skills such as administering various types of medications. While he unfortunately succumbed to his illness last year, I was able to adopt 2 three month old kitten siblings from the same shelter! I have learned through them the dynamics between male vs. female behaviors, post-surgery care with their spay and neuter, and navigating their growth spurts and the varying energy levels of young kittens. I have grown to truly understand what cats need most to thrive in their environments: routines, consistent play time and enrichment, reassurance, and just someone to feel fully safe with. What really drives me to pursue pet sitting is that I have had past experiences with sitters looking after my own pets that have not been satisfying, and since then I’ve been committed to providing support that is punctual and to a tee to the instructions given. I am primarily available on weekends Friday - Sunday at any given time needed starting from 6AM to as late as 11PM. There is flexibility on Mondays through Thursdays post 6PM based on the service required I understand how crucial it is to abide by your pets’ regular routine to a tee. New people are already anxiety-inducing and stressful for them as it is! When it comes to my own cats, I feed them 3x a day by my own hand, with snacks set up on an auto feeder twice a day. Cats need at least 30 mins of enrichment and novelty a day, so I typically play with them and introduce something new in the mornings and at night right before bed. I scoop their litter box 3x a day as well. I can also assist with any grooming needs such a nail clipping, teeth brushing, etc. For dogs, I have always walked them 3x a day for my friends and given at least 10 mins of playtime post walks.

About: My passion for taking care of pets stemmed from having 2 of my own! I grew up with a dog and now have a dog of my own. I’m new to Rover, but definitely not new to dog sitting! I have gone through extensive dog training with 4 trainers for my own dog who is 72 pounds. My first priority is ensuring your pets safety during walks and when playing in the house, & of course making them feel comfortable with someone new :) *New schedule is up to date - availability Mon-Sun during the day & at night. _____________________________________________ I work from home 5 days a week & are free on the weekends. I occasionally could do a walk or drop in during the work day depending on my schedule or after work I will always ensure that your pet feels comfortable with me first. My priority is ensuring your pets safety while on walks and in the home, so having an understanding of your pets personality, what they might not feel comfortable with & etc is important to me.

About: **About me** I love animals, I have 9 years old (human years) dog named Charlie and he is the love my life. I’ve had Charlie since he was 8 weeks old. Growing up I've had two cats and another dog (who passed away due to aging); so I am great with animals. I value excellent customer service so I will do the best I can to provide exceptional services for your pets. **About my neighborhood** I live near Madison park where is a designated small and large dog socializing park. If you’re not comfortable with your pet going to dog parks, I can walk them around my neighborhood which is quite and clean for the most part. My apartment building has a lot of dogs so might ran into them at least once a day. **Special rules or requests** NO aggressive dogs (meaning those with biting, scratching or attacking type of behavioral history will not be hosted), NO up to date unvaccinated dogs. Must be open to get cleaned up with wipes after walks if coming inside my home. I’m currently on 2 weeks work sabbatical, I thought I could use this time people with their dogs. As I know it’s tough been dog parent with busy schedule. While with me your dog will be able to do different activities such as hide and seek, catch the ball, long jogs or walks. If I am hosting your pet then they will also have a new friend to hang out with the whole time (my dog Charlie). They will also learn how to listen such as sitting when told or listen when told no; I usually do this using treats as well as by paying attention to where they're attention is.
