About: I work from home in Manhattan, and can easily bike or walk to many places. I have an understanding of dogs’ needs from puppy to older dogs, and perform respectful leash etiquette to ensure your dog and NYCers are both comfortable. If your dog needs an energy run, I can also run with them! After having my own family dog for 15 years, I now dogsit and assist in fostering dogs occasionally. I can’t wait to meet your dog! I work from home and can easily get to anywhere in Stuytown, the East Village, Gramercy, and Union Square area. When I pet sit, I can walk/play before work, during the workday, and after the workday. I will always take a dog out before going to sleep, if they would like. I could, but do not plan to take care of your pet in my own apartment, but when caring for pets in their own home, I make sure to get an understanding of their walk/eat/chill/play/sleep routine from the owner, and then ask how I can set up my own routine for working from home.

About: Growing up we always had dogs & cats, then two years ago I got my first real experiences taking care of a dog when my family got our English Shepard Olive. It's been such a rewarding experience and I've learned so much caring for and training a fairly high energy/high maintenance dog. On top of that, I frequently dog/cat sit for friends and family in Vancouver and am great at meeting new pets and adjusting to their needs. I joined Rover because I will be taking a 3 month contract in Manhattan (Nov 1 2026 - February 1 2027), and I am looking for ways to reduce some of my travel costs! On top of that, I am leaving behind my dog Olive with family and won't be seeing her for a little while, and would love to still be around animals during my trip :) For the duration of my time in NYC, I'll be working mostly remotely Monday-Sunday, with occasional visits to the office 1-2 times a week for limited hours. I have a very flexible schedule and can fit as many walks/bathroom breaks/play sessions as your dog/cat requires! At home I typically take our dog out for about an hour each morning, and for between 30 minutes - an hour in the afternoon/evening. I also love to sit outside with my dog and have coffee in the mornings etc. From my experiences training our 4 year old English Shepard, as well as our now 15 year old cat, I am used to taking care of both energetic and more laid back pets. I am a very neat and somewhat quiet person so I will take great care of your pet and your home. I also love to take work breaks to check in on my dog at home and say hello, and would love to do the same with your pet(s)!
