“Wow! What can I say - Ammon was so incredibly loving and attentive with my elderly dog. He sent me pictures throughout the day and immediately flagged any concerns. He left my apartment so clean too. He is a reliable, trustworthy dog sitter. I recommend him highly!!!”

“Shannon was really great while house sitting with my dog. She was on time for our greeting and amazing with my dog. She sent pictures regularly during the stay and it was very obvious my dog loved her and felt comfortable with her. Would def recommend.”

“Melissa is exceptional. She’s incredibly personable and caring, and she made my senior pups feel completely comfortable. I never had to worry about them while I was away. She provided regular updates and photos, and was consistently kind and thoughtful throughout. I will absolutely be using Melissa again.”

“Marraya is amazing! She is incredibly responsive, always on time, and very easy going. You can tell she loves dogs (and they love her!) which made it so much easier for us to leave our Golden with her. Absolutely will book again - thank you, Marraya!!”

“Can’t recommend Afsar enough! This is the first time I’ve been away without a single worry about my pet because of his stellar communication. Penny was well taken care of & i can tell she felt safe with Afsar immediately when meeting, photo & upon my return I wish i could give him 6 stars!”

“When my usual pet/house sitter needed to cancel less than one week before an international trip, Mahlet saved the day and put my mind at ease. She was very responsive throughout, shared lots of pictures and videos. My cat Bibi can be very standoffish, but she warmed to Mahlet quickly and I'm sure she had the best time in her care.”

“Sam has been great with pups providing us much needed support in looking after him whilst we’re away. She has a great rapport with dogs and is very personable. We’ll be using her again!”

“Razan was a great help when we needed to book a sitter pretty last minute. She came over for a meet and greet and was really thorough in her questioning and communication as it related to Hugo. While Hugo was in her care I felt very in the know of how things were going and knew he was safe! She kept our space very clean and was a great guest and sitter to have.”

“Sue F. was perfect for my 15-year old Maltese, Winnie. She stayed at my place while I was away for four days, and she walked, fed and pampered Winnie, sending photos often. It was comforting to know Winnie was in good hands, and I highly recommend Sue to anyone looking for a pet caretaker.”

“Alyssa was great with my older cat! I could tell she was very well cared for from the many pictures and updates she sent. Alyssa also went out of her way to sweep up litter and take out the trash without me asking. We’d definitely love to have her stay over again!”

“Pater was a great caretaker for my dog Reggie while I was Traveling, he took the time to have a detailed conversation with me to make sure he understood the care Reggie needed. While I was away, Peter was very communicative, took Reggie on many walks in the park and sent pictures. He was super respectful of my apartment and left it super clean, highly recommend if you need a great sitter!”

“I can’t recommend Manny enough! My dog Stevie can be pretty nervous around new people and Manny was so patient and kind to her. He kept me updated with pics which made me feel much more at ease. Like others said, he is a great house guest and left my house even cleaner than I left it. Would book again!”

“It was a pleasure to have Jane cat sit and house sit while I was away on vacation. I needed someone willing to spend the night at my place with the cat. Jane was willing and took great care of my cat. She was excellent at communication and sent photos and videos of the cat often which I really appreciated. She also picked up my packages and mail and left the place spotless.I would highly recommend Jane for any pet sitting or house sitting job.”

“Chelsea took a last minute stay request to look after my Rori girl and I am so grateful! She kept me updated with pictures and on how Rori was doing throughout the day. It was so great knowing Rori was in great hands and I was stress-free during my trip. Will absolutely book again.”

“Jessie is fantastic! Amazing at communication and sent great pictures and updates throughout the weekend that made me feel comfortable that my dog was in good hands. Our dog gets highly anxious when we travel and I came home to a very happy pup. Will definitely use her again. Highly recommend!”

“Kirsten was awesome! She did a great job sitting our cats while we were out of town. She sent us regular updates and photos while we were away and she was very attentive. I would definitely book with her again.”

“Next time I am out of town, I will be reaching out to Crystal to cat sit for me. She is very communicative and sent me lots of updates and pictures through her stay at my apartment. She asked good questions about my pet, which showed me that she genuinely cared. Importantly, she seemed to gain trust and affection of my cranky senior cat, which made my vacation so much easier - my baby was in good hands.”

“Mia and Peanut were in the best hands! DP is reliable, attentive, and truly pays attention to every detail when caring for them. He even makes sure they get their supplements without missing a beat. It’s clear he goes the extra mile, and my babies adore him. I’m so grateful for the peace of mind he gives!”

“Jake was an incredible sitter! They took such good care of our senior dog. Jake was very communicative with us, sending several updates (and cute pictures) over the course of the weekend. I would recommend them to anyone.”

Garment District pet parents share their Rover experiences
Lauren took such great care of our puppy. Our puppy struggles with separation anxiety and Lauren was so patient and kind to him. Lauren helped reinforce Charlie’s training plan and we are so grateful for her support and willingness to jump in. Our dog Charlie felt comfortable, safe, and calm with Lauren. Absolutely would trust Lauren to take care of our Charlie again. Thank you Lauren!

David was fantastic. David took great care of our dog Milo, kept him in his usual routines and schedule, and clearly took time to play and bond with him. Milo was sad to see him go and can’t wait to have David back. David also took great care of our home and was kind, respectful, and communicative throughout.

As always, superbly caring, attentive, and patient with my crew of absolute misfits! My 5 cats are a lot of work and messy as hell. One cat in particular has a lot of chronic conditions and he always gives Kristina a run for her money but she handles it like the absolute professional she is. Both the cats and myself love her and feel so lucky when she can give me a break from the kitty madness.

Vasil is an absolute dream sitter. He and my cat, Kasha, clicked instantly at the meet and greet, and after his overnight stay she’s completely smitten. He gave her so much attention and affection, and he was incredibly meticulous about following all of her care instructions as well as the apartment rules. I came home to a spotless space and a very happy cat. He’s definitely earned my trust. Honestly, I’m tempted to book drop-ins even when I don’t need them just so Kasha can have more time with her new bestie.

This is our second time booking Kendall to house sit our anxious dog. Our dog was excited to see her again which put our minds as ease. She arrived on time, was communicative before and during the stay and left the house as she found it. Would definitely recommend and will book again!

May was a great dog sitter! We appreciated her clear communication, transparency, and gentleness. Most of all, we loved the patience she had from the moment she met him. May knew Courage was anxious and fearful, so she came early to ensure more warm up time. She gave constant updates on our pup. By the end of day 1, It was a joy to see him warm up to her and receive a spa-like weekend getaway - constant belly rubs, snackies, patient calm walks, and tug of war battles. We lucked out with May and would definitely have her care for Courage again.

Giovanni was communicative, helpful and an amazing dog sitter and house guest. He walked the dog through all types of inclement weather, kept us updated, and left our place cleaner than we left him with - which is above and beyond. He is so kind and considerate!
