About: Hello! My name is Eden and I have loved pets ever since I was small. I used to devour books about raising dogs, dog breeds, etc. I have a graduate degree in ecology and natural resources with a focus on wildlife. I would love to meet your furry friends :) I am able to walk/feed/cleanup after your dog, feed/cleanup after your cat, and help out while you're away; whether that's staying at your home or bringing your pet back to mine. I would also love to watch after any nontraditional pets too, be it hamsters, snakes, rats, tarantulas, whichever! I work a dayjob and would prefer my Rover work to be mainly on the weekend. I can adjust my schedule a bit so feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions! I walk dogs at least 3 times per day, or more if needed (morning, afternoon, before bed). Weekly or on request I can take them to a park (on leash). I have also visited client's homes to petsit, or even stay over at their houses with their pets if requested.

About: I have had a family dog since I was ten years old who has been just the joy of my life. Through all her life I helped train, feed, groom, play, and care for her health and wellbeing. I have experience caring for family friends pets while they were away on vacation including in-house pet sitting, walking, feeding, paying attention to pee breaks, etc. I work freelance so my schedule is very flexible particularly when it comes to house sitting. I can take care of your pets during normal work hours Monday - Thursday whether it's a long daytime excursion, providing company and attention while they relax at home, or drop-ins for pee breaks and food checks. I truly am an absolute animal lover so spending time with pets is second nature to me. I'm very good at listening to the dog I'm with and making sure I'm taking care of them in the best way suited to their lifestyle and energy level. Pups provide us with the most pure and selfless love and it brightens my day to give that love back to them.

That’s over a decade of feeding schedules, medication routines, long walks, and figuring out what makes a nervous animal relax. I’ve always found my way to a pet’s heart, whether that’s a puppy who won’t sit still or a senior who just wants company on the couch. Now I’m a student in Manhattan with a flexible schedule, so I’m available for midday walks and drop-ins when most people are stuck at work. I’ll send photos after every visit so you know your pet is happy. I’m currently taking classes online over the summer, which allows me to have a very flexible schedule and be available for walks, check-ins, and pet care throughout the day. I’m able to give pets plenty of attention and make sure they stay on their usual routines while their owners are away. I’m reliable, communicative, and always happy to send photos and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is in good hands. I care for pets in your home, so my job is to leave everything exactly as you keep it. I follow your feeding amounts, your leash and harness setup, your litter routine, and any rules about furniture, doors, or windows. I confirm the door is locked and the cat is accounted for before I leave every single time. On walks I keep dogs leashed the whole way, avoid dog to dog contact unless you tell me it’s fine, and stay away from crowded blocks with a nervous dog. I send a photo and a short update after each visit so you know what happened while you were out.

“Evan was such a great find! It was his first time house sitting, he watched our dog, Matilda, and cat, Emerson, and he was a perfect house guest and pet sitter! The house was in perfect condition, very very clean, the pets were calm and happy, and he was communicative and sent pictures every few days. He was here over the holidays, he helped us out last minute after our plans changed, he was patient while we figured out our plan and asked lots of great questions over the phone before hand. We had a little bit of trouble communicating over FaceTime/rover app because of a faulty connection but he was very kind and took lots of time to interview us about the pets and their routine. We would love to have Evan come back and house sit for us anytime!!! Would absolutely recommend!”
