“After using several sitters on Rover before, Albert has by far been the best. He was clear in his communication and followed up. Albert came for a meet and greet. Albert listened to our instructions on how to approach him. After an initial few minutes, my dog put his paw out to play with him. Albert had a list of questions ready to ask and showed genuine interest and safety in my dogs routine. During our week long stay out of town, Albert set many updates (including videos and pics). I was very assured my dog was well taken care of and loved. I received a pic of them cuddling on the couch. Albert didn’t reach out with a thousand questions while we weee away, instead he constantly assured us to enjoy our vacation. About: I’m a big animal lover in general and dog fan in particular. I’ve always owned dogs (I currently have two, but they’re living with my parents in Argentina. Because I like taking care of dogs and have some experience doing so (walked dogs for little over a year in Buenos Aires), I thought it would be a good way to earn some extra money, meet new people and even get to know New York better!!! (Just moved here 3 months ago, the company relocated me from Miami). Also, I live in front of Domino Park and very close to MacArren Park, which are great places to take them for a run or walk. Jamela was so so awesome!! She watched my corgi last minute for a few days while I was out of town. Alex was a phenomenal cat sitter, and I would book her again in a heartbeat! She was very responsible and gave frequent updates, and my cat really seemed to feel comfortable with her. She was attentive, caring, and respectful - 10/10, even from a very nervous cat parent. :)
Karina was so fantastic watching our dog, Junie, for 10 days while we were out of town. Junie takes a bit to warm up to new people, so Karina came by twice beforehand to get to know Junie, and she quickly warmed up to Karina who is calm, patient, and kind. While we were away, we had peace of mind that Junie was in good hands and Karina proactively texted us with pictures and updates on Junie every day. Karina is extremely reliable and she left our house as clean as we had left it.
