Qualifications? I have filed and hammered shoes into the hooves of horses, assisted with the birth of mares, sheered sheep, raised bottle calves, taught an African Gray [parrot] to speak and NOT bite, showed dogs and horses in Florida, hiked portion of PCT with a German Shepherd, cleaned & mulched horse stalls on a daily basis, scrubbed at least 10,000 water buckets, maintained 60 acres of fence-line posts+boards and hot wire line. All that is to say I understand the depth of caring for your beloved companion. Rest assured that your pet is in safe and capable hands. Bridles, collars, sweater, and boots… and all other accoutrement will be fitted safely & comfortably, not too tight nor too loose; your pet and I will stroll together without unnecessary tugging and divergence. We can go as slow or fast as you prefer. If you want us to hustle and really exercise, I am glad to honor this request and jog/run with your pet. If it’s an elderly mountain dog, I’ll hold an umbrella over its head on a hot day. Whether you seek a small amount of cardio exercise for your pet, just to be well fed, sung to and serenaded with my favorite folk songs, I am at your service. I grew up on a ranch in Plant City, FL, where we kept at least two Australian Shepherds at a time. One would always be a foster to allow rehabilitation with a teammate. My brother and I were their personal trainers, and we went on to show dogs annually in the Florida state fairgrounds. I am comfortable with nearly any type of pet’s body language- whether it flies, swims, or is fully terrestrial. Help me help you!
