About: I’ve grown up with animals my entire life primarily cats and my family at home now has 3. I’m very understanding of cat behavior and am experienced in how to care for them. I’ve gained experience in dog care with taking care of friends pets over the years and more recently, with the 2+ years on rover. I’m comfortable with small to large dogs. I work from the office Tues/Wed and remote the other days, I’m available anytime on weekends. I have a spacious one bed apartment, with a large rooftop. I’m blocks away from tompkins sq park and the east river. I can bring any necessary supplies your pet may need in the event you run out while your away. I’ve done a ton of dog and cat sitting over the years, including pets with medical needs and rescued animals who need extra patience. My own dog has diabetes, so I’m very comfortable giving insulin injections and following detailed care routines. I’m big on listening closely to what each pet and pet parent needs, communicating clearly, and creating a calm, safe, affectionate space for your little ones. While I'm adaptable in accommodating various scheduling needs, I do require bookings to be made at least one day in advance. For safety, I am always vigilant about securing entrances and exits. I also maintain a clean and organized space, especially in areas frequently used by the pets, like feeding stations and litter boxes.
