“Jing was amazing with our dog Indy! Indy had separation anxiety so he stayed with Jing for an evening while we were out. She made sure Indy comfortable in her home and provided us with regular communication and photo updates. Indy was calm and relaxed when we picked him up thanks to Jing’s care. I highly recommend Jing and I’ll be booking with her again soon!”

“Georgia had the very best day with Emily and her dog, Kit, and I couldn’t recommend them more highly! She had good plays, they went on a great walk, and Georgia looked so happy in the photos she sent! We already booked our next play date!”

“Great dog sitter! Very caring, reliable, and attentive. I felt completely at ease leaving my dog with you. I really appreciate your patience and the love you showed him—especially since he can be a bit anxious. Definitely would book again! Thank you so much!”

About: As a lifelong pet lover with years of experience caring for both cats and dogs, I understand the unique needs and personalities of our furry friends. I've spent countless hours providing attentive, loving care to cats and dogs of all breeds and sizes, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. My services include everything from daily walks and playtime to feeding, grooming, and administering any necessary medications. Whether your pet needs a gentle companion to cuddle with or an energetic playmate to burn off some energy, I am committed to providing top-notch care tailored to their individual needs. Your pet’s well-being and happiness are my top priorities, and I look forward to making sure they receive the best care possible while you’re away. I’m available Mon-Fri 9am to 8pm. Let me know in advance if you need my services during the weekend. I will try my best to accommodate. I don’t have pets in my apartment. My apartment is close to multiple dog parks and river walks. Good to host pets and play with them.

“Robin was amazing with Buddy. As expected, Buddy had a hard time when I left him, but Robin made him feel at home and he eventually settled in so well and had such a good time throughout the day. The way his faced changed from a photo Robin sent at the beginning of the day compared to the end showed just how well he adjusted and how happy he was with Robin. Robin is so patient and took great care even on such a rainy day when they couldn’t spend too much time outside. She sent plenty of photos, videos, and updates and I knew Buddy was in good hands. Highly recommend and would give more than 5 stars if I could. Will definitely have Buddy stay with Robin again!”

About: Hi! I’m a law student studying for the bar, which means I’ll be home most of the time and your dog will have lots of companionship throughout their stay. I have an Italian Greyhound I’ve cared for since she was a puppy (and she is very spoiled), so I know how important it is to make dogs feel safe and loved. I visit her every week at my parents’ home in Hoboken, and I’d care for your dog the same way I care for mine. Whether your pup loves playtime, walks, cuddles, or just having a calm human nearby, I’m happy to adapt to their routine and personality! I’m studying for the bar right now, so I’m home most of the time and have a flexible schedule for walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of attention throughout the day. Since I’m already spending most of my time at home studying, caring for a dog fits in really well and I enjoy having the company. My apartment is new, clean, and well-air-conditioned and heated, so it’s a comfortable environment year-round. My dog currently lives with my parents so your pup will be the only one staying in my studio. I’ll make sure your dog gets regular walks, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of attention, and of course I’ll keep plenty of doggie snacks on hand (with your approval!).

“Cybill was terrific with Kokoe. She kept me updated about how he was doing throughout the day. She helped me out at the last minute and even provided other names of good Pet Sitters nearby on Rover. Much appreciated.”

“Tracy is a gem! Our dog, Sanga is a senior dog and he hasn’t ever been left for boarding before. He was relaxed and Tracy kept us updated throughout his stay. Thank you!”

“My dog, Poppy, had so much fun with Sammantha! She was super responsive, sent great photos and videos, and made me feel super safe about having my baby away for the day.”

About: Hi! My name is Serena, and I’ve always loved spending time with animals. I’ve grown up around dogs and enjoy taking them for walks, playing with them, and making sure they’re happy and cared for. I also used to work a pet store that really taught me a lot. I currently have 2 of my own named Pepper and Leo. Pepper is a Havanese who is a playful friendly little girl and Leo is a Havapoo who is a ball of friendly energy who loves to cuddle but is scared of his own shadow lol. I really enjoy watching them play and enjoy how different their personalities are. 🙂I’m reliable, patient, and treat every pet like my very own. I’m excited to help pet owners feel confident that their pets are in good hands while they’re away because I know how scary it can be to leave your fur babies with a new person. Can’t wait to meet you and your babies! 🥰🥰 I am currently home FULL TIME and am able to work around your needs schedule wise, so taking care of your fur babies fits in perfectly to my life and I am excited to do so ☺️ In my home, I keep a clean, safe space and follow each pet’s feeding, potty, and play routine. I give plenty of attention, supervision, and comfort so they feel at home and I also have 2 dogs of my own that would love to play and keep clients pets company In a client’s home, I stick to their normal schedule, provide walks, fresh food and water, playtime, and updates. I always respect the home as I do my own and follow all care instructions.
“Patrick was very understanding to Leo’s needs and made sure to keep us updated frequently. Not only that but as soon as we had additional requests for him in regards to Leo, Patrick immediately acted on them without issue. When we came to pick Leo up he was very tired and happy. Would gladly use Patrick again.”

“Onelsis was awesome with Dallas! She sat for him last minute and was very accommodating. I appreciated her updates and photos. Dallas will be back when we are in the city again.”

About: I am extremely reliable and communicative - a real animal lover. I have been dog sitting through Rover for a while now. Cats are also no problem. I am extremely trust worthy and can guarantee that your pet is in great hands and that I will treat and love on them like they are my own! I work from home and am fully remote 🙏✨ I am fully remote with a very flexible schedule. I can walk multiple times a day - morning, afternoon and evening and in between is absolutely no problem. I live in a very animal friendly Doorman building. I live by the FDR and go on nice walks by the water as well. If your dog likes, there’s also a dog park nearby.
About: I've had dogs, cats, and birds since I was 10. I have been a companion for neighbors, friends and family pets. I work mostly from home so I can be flexible and can be with the pet all day. Dog parks... I love to take dogs to play. Let me know if it's ok. *** Please note: *** 1. Drive: I go out to the North Fork frequently so the pets will get lots of grass, trees, and places to run. Country adventure for our furry friends. I have a long leash so they can enjoy the backyard. *** Pet should be ok with a TWO-HOUR drive. *** (I've never had an issue and they love the view and the fresh air) 2. Cat: I also have a very friendly and affectionate cat. Pet must be able to get along and be ready for some light head rubs from my kitty, Worm. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I travel a lot so can't keep a dog myself but miss having dogs at home. On long term stays, can take pet to a country house in Long Island. The weather is getting great, dog Park!? I'm currently on the UWS but enjoy brisk walks to the park to get the little boys and girls running.
“Adam was fantastic with our little rescue dog. Our puppy is very skittish and scared of new people, and Adam was so warm, kind, and patient with him. We were appreciative that Adam was so flexible on the timing and that he was so comfortable taking on our difficult pup. Thanks for a great doggy daycare experience!”

“Staci is awesome!!! She is reliable, attentive, calm, friendly and my dog loves her already! Excellent walking, comfortable environment and she has the sweetest dog for my dog to hang out with. Stays in touch -- sent great photos during my dog's first visit. Can't wait for him to stay with her again!”

Murray Hill dog parents share their Rover experiences
Mary was fantastic with my dog, Margot! She kept me updated throughout the stay with plenty of photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. She made sure Margot got regular walks, lots of attention, and plenty of affection. Margot can be a bit anxious at times, and Mary was incredibly patient and caring, helping her feel comfortable and secure. I could tell Margot was in great hands, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Mary again. Highly recommend!

This was the absolute first time I had ever left my dogs with a dog sitter, so I was naturally very anxious. Fortunately, I found someone truly extraordinary, empathetic, and super professional. From the very first moment, they managed to make them feel completely at ease. My dogs had an amazing time, were happy, and I was able to relax completely thanks to the constant updates and photos I received. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for their very first stay. I highly recommend them ♡

Mari is sweet, caring, punctual, easy to work with and took incredible care of my pup. There were so many adorable photos of Cordelia throughout the day and best of all was Mari’s reliability and punctuality that made my drop off and pick up a breeze. I could tell my dog was relaxed and happy spending time with her. Highly recommend Mari as human and pup sitter!

We could not be happier with Joseph to look after our Benji! Joseph took Benji for daycare for 3 days and clearly has a strong connection with dogs. Benji has some separation anxiety, but Joseph kept him very active and sent lots of updates and pictures. Benji was clearly having a great time in all of the pictures. When we picked Benji up at the end of the day, we could tell that he just had a great day with Joseph. When Benji needs looking after in the future, Joseph will easily be our first choice!

Shane was fantastic with Achachairú! I needed last-minute (aka hooked at 11pm the day before) daycare while my fiancée was having surgery, and Shane was incredibly accommodating, communicative, and easy to coordinate with throughout the day. He kept me updated on how Achachairú was doing, letting me know when he settled in, played with his beagle, went for a walk, and spent time relaxing. It was clear that Achachairú was comfortable and well cared for. Despite some uncertainty around our pickup time due to hospital delays, Shane was flexible and responsive. I would absolutely book with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.

Leslie was awesome! I dropped off my King Charles Cavalier, Tallie, for doggy daycare, and she had such a great day. He took her on a long walk, played with her, and sent lots of photos and updates throughout the day, which I really appreciated. When we picked her up, it was obvious she had a wonderful time. Tallie came home happy, relaxed, and very loved. Highly recommend!

Sandy was a great communicator and clearly cares so much about the pets she takes care of! We received so many hilarious and adorable photos/videos of Kiwi throughout his stay, and it was obvious he was in great hands and having a wonderful time. Her home was also beautiful and felt like such a comfortable environment for him. Thank you, Sandy, for taking such great care of Kiwi, we’d love to have you watch him again in the future :) We’ll make sure he’s a little more motivated to go outside next time 😂 Thanks again for your patience!
