About: Hi! My name is Nana, and I would love the opportunity to care for your dog. I have many years of hands-on experience as a dog owner and have also cared for dogs for friends and family. After spending 15 wonderful years with my beloved dog, I realized how much I enjoy providing loving, attentive care and would love to share that experience with more dogs and their families. I am a Certified Senior Dog Caregiver and a Certified Dog Trainer. I believe every dog deserves individualized care, so I only accept one family’s dog(s) at a time. This allows me to provide your pet with my full attention in a calm, safe, and stress-free environment. For everyone’s safety, I currently accept dogs up to 25 pounds. This allows me to safely lift your dog if needed during an emergency and helps keep them safe from reaching kitchen counters or tables where food or unsafe items may be left. My apartment is small but very dog-friendly, with low furniture and protected non-slip flooring to help prevent slips and injuries. My building also has a private dog run, and we’re just steps from Carl Schurz Park, making it easy to enjoy plenty of walks, fresh air, and exercise. I’ll happily follow your dog’s normal routine, whether that means frequent outdoor walks, setting up wee-wee pads indoors, administering medications (if needed), or simply providing lots of love and companionship. I carefully follow every owner’s instructions so your dog feels comfortable, secure, and at home. I am reliable, organized, tidy, and detail-oriented. Communication is very important to me, and I’ll send regular updates, photos, and videos so you always know how your furry family member is doing. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else because I felt the same way with my own dog. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities. I work from home, so I have a flexible schedule and can spend plenty of quality time with your dog. On Mondays and Thursdays, I am away for approximately 6 hours, but I’m otherwise home and available. If you prefer care in your own home, I’m also happy to provide drop-in visits within the Upper East Side area. My home is clean, organized, and dog-friendly, with non-slip flooring and low furniture to help keep pets safe. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, medications, potty routines, exercise, and any special needs. I also provide regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident knowing how your dog is doing. For drop-in visits in the Upper East Side, I’ll treat your home with the same care and respect as my own while ensuring your dog stays on their familiar routine. My goal is for both you and your dog to feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

About: Whether you require daycare, boarding, house-sitting, or occasional drop-in visits/walks, you can count on me to treat your pet like a precious, irreplaceable gem! I’m the pawrent of a Pekingese dog, two Exotic Shorthair cats, and a Persian cat. I am also a foster meowmie for other kitties. I have experience with senior and special-needs pets, including as a volunteer dog walker for PAWS NY, an organization that helps people in need keep their pets in their lives. I will send you lots of photos and videos so you can be fully informed about the well-being of your pet/s. I am a full-time pet care specialist. In addition to dogs and cats, I’m also happy to care for bunnies, guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, birds, and other exotic pets. I’ve read some horror stories about overnight sitters, as I’m sure you have. If I am house-sitting for you, I will be staying overnight in your home, so your pet will be in its usual environment. If you choose daycare or boarding with me, I will be staying overnight with your pet in a secure, cozy apartment with a fenced-in backyard (my own dog and cats won’t be present). I don’t walk dogs off leash and I don’t open windows for the safety of small dogs and cats. If your animal has any symptoms of illness, you’ll be advised immediately. If it’s hot out, I will ask that we run the A/C for the health of your pet. The well-being of your pet is as important to me as the well-being of my own pets.

About: Moving to NYC in September from Minneapolis where I have have been watching dogs for the last year and a half while working remote. I graduated from the University of St. Thomas in May 2020 and have a dog back home in Wisconsin who is 10 years old and a Havanese. I would walk hi daily and care for him when I was back home and would love to hang out and care for dogs while working remote. I also have a few dogs I consistently watch in my apartment building and as well as being a constant go-to when friends need a sitter. I am extremely motivated and passionate. I also have a lot of flexibility with work from home this year which means I have a lot of availability. I have missed hanging and caring for my dog since moving out and I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to make some additional money and also hang out with animals! I work from home full time Monday through Friday so I have lots of flexibility and availability! I also have lots of flexibility with my meeting schedule throughout the day. I live in an extremely safe apartment with an elevator. Lots of other dogs are always there as well! I am extremely organized and clean on top of that.
