“Mara was so great with my puppy, Winston! She was super helpful with his training and kept me updated. I highly recommend her and hope she can come see Winston again soon”

About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life: both big & small, pure-bred & rescues! I've had my own pup (a long-haired mini dachshund) for the last 15 months which has massively expanded my knowledge on puppies and training. I love dogs and will do whatever is necessary to keep them happy & healthy! I work from home 3x a week (Monday, Thursday, and Friday) and have a very flexible schedule during those days (I don't have many meetings). I also spend a lot of time at home during the weekends so I'm pretty much always around for a walk or pet sitting on those days. My pup is super friendly and absolutely loves other dogs, but is also low energy enough to play for a bit but then do her own thing. Having a young dog, my house is very dog-proofed to make sure she and other dogs I have visiting don't get into anything.
About: I've had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember! I've dog sat, been a dog walker, and have taken care of all sorts of breeds and dogs with special needs -- feeding, walking, bathing, and snuggling! I work from home full time so I’m able to meet whatever needs your pup has and I’m happy to be with them all day! I live with two dog-loving roommates who would be tried and true playmates for your pups! Our apartment has a good size living room and hallway for inside play, and we live right near Riverside park. I've stayed in others' homes while caring for their dogs for extended and overnight stays and I am courteous, clean, and respectful of your space and privacy.
“She took amazing care of our dog during doggy day care. She sent lots of pictures and even sent him home with some fancy treats! He was well loved and cared for.”

“Laura and her partner took great care of my very active lab. She provided updates and took him on multiple walks throughout the day. He came home happy and tired. Would not hesitate to use her services again!”

“Haziza was wonderful! I had to take a last minute trip into the city and traveling with my pet (Scout) was tough. I made the request last minute and Haziza responded immediately! I was nervous as I have never used a Rover in the city, but Haziza has us meet and immediately I felt at ease! She went above and beyond for sending me photos and videos of Scout at the park and even enjoying her family time in the comfort of Hazizas home! I will 100% book with her again any time I am in the city! Cannot give her a high enough review!”

“Darlene is great. She is communicative, flexible, and takes great care of Fitz! He is always excited to go to Darlene's apartment and I know he's in good hands.”

“Hugo & Katie were amazing with our puppy Lady. They brought her to the park, were very attentive and provided updates along the day on how she was doing. They have another dog Riley who was sweet and got along nicely with our dog. Perfect first experience on this app, would highly recommend them!”

“Adam was fantastic with our little rescue dog. Our puppy is very skittish and scared of new people, and Adam was so warm, kind, and patient with him. We were appreciative that Adam was so flexible on the timing and that he was so comfortable taking on our difficult pup. Thanks for a great doggy daycare experience!”

About: Growing up i was always surrounded by pets. I do not own any pets now and I certainly miss having a fur baby around. I always take a chance to babysit my friends pets. I work from home fully remote, and my schedule is very flexible. I go on daily walks / runs in either Central park or Riverside park, and happy to take your dog to the parks mutiple times a day. I am ready to give all the snuggles and attention (or space if the pet is independent). I board one pet at a time and make them feel at home - they’re welcome on furniture, couch, chairs, and even bed is OK. if your dog has a bed and/or a crate feel free to bring that, too. I am fully remote running my business from home and my schedule is flexible. I live in the west 70s right between central park and riverside and go on long walks / runs daily. I am an early bird so we can go out for a walk as early as needed and working from home i can give as much attention as needed. I have an apartment, work from home every day, and i live alone. When boarding or day sitting at least two long walks (45-90 mins each) are guaranteed with as many potty breaks as required. I can give medications as required.
“We booked our dog for daycare for an evening and Amy was very prompt at responding and great about coordinating our drop off for daycare. She also sent us plenty of pictures”

“Tracy was so wonderful with our dog. He rarely gets the chance to have play dates with other dogs so we were a little worried but Tracy reassured us that everything would go well and provided lots of updates and pictures of him playing with her dog! Would definitely book again!!”

“Pamela was very professional and treating my dog like her very own. Sir was very comfortable with her and she kept me updated with pic and text throughout the day. Highly recommend thank you Pamela. 10/10”

“I left my girl this morning feeling anxious (she rarely left us since she was a puppy) but Mary did an absolute amazing job taking care of Nutella. We have a GPS tracker on her that also tracks her activity and Nutella had 152 mins of play and walk with Mary today! We received so many pics and videos which made me so happy. I can’t say enough good things about Mary. Thank you!”

“Alyssa was perfect. Clear and consistent communication all throughout while watching my 2 dogs. She sent pictures and videos and consistently gave me reassurance that everything was going well and that my boys were happy. I would give ten starts if I could.”

“Jay and his partner Ana were incredible. Jay was highly communicative, accommodating and good with our puppy Kona. They went above and beyond to not only set up Kona’s crate and send us cute updates every few hours but also take her to the groomer’s for us and liaison between us and the groomer for that appointment. I know Kona had such a blast with their dog Dani and a visiting one, it was a really ideal daycare situation! We’ll for sure be back to them when we need help again.”

Upper West Side dog parents share their Rover experiences
Our puppy had a bit of a weird tummy the night before. Alyssa was so incredibly understanding, we communicated beforehand and she spoke to us throughout the entire evening to ensure Teds was happy. Teddy’s home and feeling better than when we left her. Alyssa’s a gem - couldn’t recommend her enough!

Kamila (and her sister) were such a treat to work with!! They were so communicative throughout the day with updates as well as for pick-up/drop-off. My pup was so excited to go to their place every day and always came home happy and tired. We will definitely be going back in the future for any daycare needs :)
