Hi there! I’m Flora — an experienced, reliable, and loving pet care provider with 13+ years of hands-on dog care experience, including my own pups, family dogs, and long-term repeat clients. I am Pet CPR certified and hold a Qualifying Certificate in Animal Care & Handling Techniques from the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. This means I’m trained in safe handling practices and equipped to respond calmly and appropriately in emergency situations. Safety, awareness, and compassionate care are always my top priorities. My clients know me for my professionalism, great communication, and genuine love for animals. Your dog will be treated like family, with lots of affection, structure, and a calm, cozy environment where they can feel safe and relaxed. Over the years I’ve cared for dogs with a wide range of needs — energetic pups, seniors, anxious dogs, and pets on medication. I’m attentive to behavior, respectful of each dog’s routine, and big on cleanliness, comfort, and well-being. I’m naturally an early riser and usually start my mornings around 5:00AM–6:00 AM with quiet time, light exercise, or a peaceful walk along the pier when the weather allows — one of my favorite parts of the day. Dogs in my care receive gentle structure, attention, and lots of loving energy throughout their stay. My goal is for you to feel confident and at ease while your fur baby is with me. I provide updates, photos, and clear communication, and I care for every dog with patience, kindness, and intention. I’d love to care for your pup and make their time here safe, cozy, and stress-free. 🐾

Flora did a great job of boarding and taking care of my dog Steven! Flora made the entire process of drop off, pick up, and stay smooth and easy. DeWitt Clinton Park is just 0.3 miles away and includes a clean, quiet dog park that’s perfect for calm morning or afternoon outings. My apartment has ample space to comfortably accommodate your dog’s crate, bed, or favorite comfort items, ensuring they have a dedicated, cozy place to relax. I prioritize safety, communication, and trust in every stay. I provide consistent updates, photos, and check-ins so you always feel informed about your pet’s wellbeing. I carefully follow all care plans, medication instructions, and dietary requirements to make sure your pup’s routine is honored. In addition to my certifications, I maintain my own professional pet care insurance. This ensures an added layer of safety, accountability, and peace of mind for every stay. I follow each pet parent’s instructions closely to maintain your dog’s normal routine and comfort. When needed, I can prepare special meals or dietary accommodations as instructed. I also keep an eye on behavior and wellbeing, and I’ll communicate any concerns or changes I notice so you always feel informed and at ease. Throughout the day, your pup will enjoy interactive playtime, affection, mental stimulation, and gentle physical activity — helping them feel happy, engaged, and relaxed during their stay. My goal is to create a safe, nurturing, and cozy environment where your fur baby feels right at home. 💛🐶
