“Ammon has been incredibly kind, conscientious, communicative, and courteous with my complicated loaf of a bulldog Ziggy. I know Manhattan is a challenging place to own a dog, but I also know that finding good, reliable care is hard to come by. I highly recommend Ammon for all of your dogsitting needs.”

“Alejandra was an amazing dog sitter! Prior to the weekend, she asked a lot of questions to make sure she knew everything she needed to take the best care of Levi. She sent numerous update videos and pictures to let me know how Levi was doing and continued to communicate very well! I’ll definitely be booking with Alejandra again!!”

“Once again Adolfo took excellent care of my dog. He noticed he was acting unusually and sent video right away for me to assess the situation. Thank you again Adolfo for caring for Hendrix.”

About: Hello! I’d love to be your pet’s bestie. I have extensive experience caring for cats and litters of kittens from birth to eight weeks, subbing in for Humane Society foster friends when they were out of town. I also have 10+ years of experience walking, feeding and playing with dogs of all ages and sizes, including my own dogs (Golden Retrievers!) growing up. It brings me so much joy to see every animal's unique personality shine through when they are in my care, and I strive to make every pet feel as comfortable, safe and content as possible. I currently work part time, so I have plenty of space in my schedule to play with your pups or kitties! Whether it’s a walk or a visit to your home, I’d love to spend quality time with your pet. I can play with your cats and provide enrichment to keep them busy. For dogs, depending on their reactivity, I would be happy to bring them on walks of any length, for exercise or to go potty. If your home needs a light tidy or your pet makes a mess, I'd also be happy to clean that up for you.
“Deise was great , she is a lovely person ! We are so happy to have her taking care of Baily !! We will call her again when coming back to New York ! Baily was very safe with her . Deise was always on time , she hepled a lot . Thank you very much , Deise 🌸❄️”

“My elderly temperamental dog loved her time with Adeib. She immediately took to him, something that rarely happens. He kept me regularly up to date and I think the two of them had a great time. Would definitely book with Adeib again.”

“Marianne was great with our senior cat on a long trip. We knew we could trust her since she has a senior cat of her own. She administered his eye drops perfectly. We highly recommend. Thank you Marianne!”

“Scooby had such a great time with Chelsea. He felt comfortable with her right away, and they played so much together. It was really reassuring to see how relaxed and happy he was with her. You can tell she genuinely cares and is great with dogs - will absolutely book with her again.”

“We can’t recommend Collin enough! This was our first time using Rover, so we were a little nervous, but he made the experience so easy and reassuring from the start! He came by a few days before to meet us and Bruce, which we really appreciated and was so kind and accommodating throughout. Collin also kept us updated with pictures while we were away, which was such a nice touch and gave us so much peace of mind!! We’re so grateful to have found our new sitter for Bruce!!”

“Aida was a wonderful pet sitter! She sent pictures and kept in communication with us regarding all details! The pets and house were in perfect shape when we came home. She made sure they were well fed and the house was so clean! We hope to hire her in the future!”
“Adam is a fantastic sitter and walker - would highly recommend! Extremely communicative and responsive, and was very patient with my active dog. Adam took the time to understand my dog’s unique needs and did everything he could to make sure my dog was as happy and comfortable as possible.”

“THE BEST DOG SITTER EVER!!!!!! She was responsive, gave frequent updates, was so attentive, took our doggo on adventures, was respectful to our house, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable while we were away. I will 100% be booking with her in the future. Thank you so much!”

Upper West Side pet parents share their Rover experiences
Mary was great with our shy rescue and spent a full day with him while we had to attend an event. She was wonderful with staying in contact and letting us know that he was safe and happy. So relieved that we found someone we can trust with our little sweetheart.

I was very happy with Caroline as my pet sitter. It was my first time leaving my dog with a stranger and I was nervous. Caroline was very communicative and professional, and really put my mind at ease. I wrote up a long list of info/instructions and she didn't act like I was crazy! She was punctual. She left my apartment in perfect condition and my dog clearly had a fine time (he always has a little anxiety when I pack a suitcase but she clearly managed it well). I will definitely use Caroline again!

Allen was very patient with Major (as was Bean, Allen’s Goldendoodle). He achieved what I thought was impossible: he tired my boy out! They spent a lot of time outside (taking him for walks and bike rides) and quality cuddle times. When my flight was delayed, Allen was very flexible about staying late until I arrived. For my first time leaving Major, he was in great hands with Allen. I got the pics and vids to prove it!

This was my first time leaving Ruffles with someone, Mint’s puppy experience was a big plus and great reviews. I also had a wonderful experience, he’s super nice and great communication; I felt at ease. Arrived promptly and stayed an extra 10 minutes as I was running late back. I received updates and photos and really felt a-okay for the first time being away. Ruffles was in good spirits when I arrived home and slept through the night. I will be hiring again!

This was our second time booking Alice and Ethan to watch Mango, and we honestly couldn't ask for better sitters! We were away in Ireland for our wedding, and having them look after Mango gave us total peace of mind. Alice and Ethan were incredibly proactive and efficient at figuring out Mango’s needs whenever anything came up. They sent constant updates and were so patient with his initially shy personality. They were also super prompt with his feeding schedule and medical needs, including his inhaler. Mango was so incredibly happy the entire time. We are so glad to have found them and cannot recommend them highly enough!

Anxhela is incredible. My dog is usually very anxious, but he warmed up to her almost instantly — something that never happens. She kept me updated the entire time and was so communicative and responsive. It’s clear she genuinely loves dogs and has a special ability to connect with them, which gave me so much comfort while I was away. I came home to a spotless apartment, thoughtful touches, and even a sweet card. She truly went above and beyond and I can't recommend her enough.

Violetta took great care of Scooby. Communication was excellent throughout, and I really appreciated the many photos and updates she sent, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly cared about making sure Scooby was comfortable. I would be happy to book with her again.

We could not have had a better experience tan what we had with Mariah. She made sure our dog was safe, happy, and doted on. Our old lady has a couple of medicine routines and Mariah remained firmly on top of them. We got numerous updates with a happy, smiling bulldog. When we came back our place was perfectly kept and our dog was already missing her!
