Pet Sitting Upper West Side

About: Dogs are a part of the family and they deserve the best life possible through all the sniffaries and enrichment their hearts desire. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and I currently have an aussiedoodle with special dietary and grooming needs and foster pups through MuddyPaws NYC. I only take 1 dog at a time (in addition to my own) so your pup gets the attention they need. While I’m not a professional dog trainer, I strongly believe in constantly and consistently training dogs through positive reinforcement only. I do not go to dog parks or let dogs off leash for their own safety and to avoid reactivity. I’m well versed in dog body language and believe mental enrichment activities along with physical exercise leads to a happier pup. I love taking pups to any place that is dog-friendly because they too deserve to explore the world and live their best lives possible. I have a flexible schedule during the week which allows me to care for all your dog’s needs and take them out for regular walks. It would be helpful to have a general overview of your pup’s personality and I’ll follow any instructions you have. To avoid reactivity and for safety, I do not take dogs into dog parks or let them off leash ever. I have a patio for smaller dogs (20lbs or less) to go outside but larger dogs are not allowed since it is 5 stories up and has a 4ft wall on 2 sides. I will care for your dog like they’re my own since they deserve the world.

“We highly recommend Michelle to care for your fur babies! We had a Meet+Greet with her before the drop-in appointment and our pups loved her instantly. They were happy to see her when she returned for the drop-in visit the following day. She followed directions exactly as we requested. She even arrived a little early which worked out well for us. We needed to turn our phones off about the time she was set to arrive. We were able to buzz her into our building because she took the initiative to arrive 15 minutes early. Michelle is very thoughtful and conscientious. She cleaned up after feeding the dogs and left the apartment tidy. Michelle sent us frequent status updates on how they were doing with photos. Michelle is a kind person who loves all animals! We will definitely book with Michelle again!”

About: Hi! I am a premed neurology researcher on the Upper West Side looking to support my application fees. I currently have a medium-sized dog named Alfie who I take on long walks everyday in Central Park (only 2 blocks from my apartment). I grew up with pomeranians and fostering large and small dogs so I am familiar with different temperaments and sizes. I am currently waiting to start my new position so I am available to care for your furry family member at your convenience. Once I begin my role, I only work three days a week so I can still walk your dog then as well. I have a 40-lb Keeshond who is very friendly and loves to play. If you are looking for boarding, my dog will be in the apartment as well but I can make sure they get acclimated.
