I've been a certified Crazy Cat Lady from day 1. I've had cats my entire life, and am currently a mom to four lovely furballs. I've previously volunteered in cat shelters so am familiar with all stages of life, personalities, and medical conditions. I am comfortable with seniors, kittens, and shy/fearful/special needs cats alike! I have experience with both oral and transdermal meds. I am also a neat freak - your cats litter box will NEVER go unscooped with me! My dream is to one day own and operate my own cat sanctuary for difficult-to-adopt cats - but in the meantime, catsitting is the next best thing!

Safety, trust & environment
Before confirming services, I would like to chat about your home environment first! First and foremost, I'd like to understand any current medication needs and health issues. A regular vet I can contact (and an emergency vet I can call after hours) is a must for me to ensure the safety of your kitty while you're away. Please let me know of any favorite hiding spots (especially if you have a fearful kitty). Please let me know of any potential hazards in the house (any plants, windows that could potentially open, etc) For each visit, you'll receive tons of photos to confirm your pet is safe, happy, and cared for!

Micaela took amazing care of our cat, Snips! We booked 5 daily visits to help keep our cat on a normal routine and Micaela went above and beyond with her level of care while in our home. She spent lots of time playing with Snips, scooped her litter, checked the food bowls, and even checked areas of concern we mentioned. I highly recommend Micaela for you cat sitting needs; we will be booking repeatedly with her!
Micaela took such wonderful care of our two cats. She was great at communicating, was there when she said she’d be, and put in extra time to play with them and make sure they had good social time. What I appreciated most about her taking care of them was all the photos she sent. It was such a nice touch and made me feel at ease. And the litter box was spotless when we returned! Working with Micaela is a 10/10 experience and I would trust her with any pet.
Micaela took such great care of our two kitties while we were on vacation. When she checked in on them, she made sure they got lots of play time and socialization. She sent us daily pictures and updates, which we appreciated while we were away. And she kept the litter box spotless too! It was such a relief knowing that our cats were in trusted hands while we traveled.
Highly recommend MIcaela; she is an incredibly experienced, caring, and trustworthy pet mother, any pet parent who asks for her help is in excellent hands. When I first started fostering a cat, I struggled with administering medical eyedrops. I reached out to Micaela, who calmed down Rocky, expertly burritoed the feline, and gave the cat the medicine...and showed me the ropes, too! I've reached out many times over the past few months for Micaela's help, and she is very responsive and attentive to all details.
Great cat sitter, clearly loves even the most aloof or fearful of cats and with patience wins them all over. Dependable, caring and sends lots of updates with hilarious captions. 10/10 would recommend for your pet sitting needs!

Schedule
I have a full time job with flexible hours - I primarily work remotely so it's easy to set aside time for your fur baby!
