About: I've always gotten along well with animals, and being a pet owner myself has led to a greater appreciation of the responsibility owning a pet entails. I had years of firsthand experience with cats and dogs before moving to NYC, and through my day job as an animal researcher I've learned even more how to care for animals' mind and body. I'm based in Midtown East and am excited to book dog walks and home visits for cats and dogs, and to make new animal friends in the city! I work at Mount Sinai which is very close to where I am based, and am happy to care for animals outside of working ours on weekdays (9-5) and any time on weekends. I occasionally work from home in which case I am available all day, so please inquire and I hope to find a time that works well for us both! I treat every pet as if they were my own and prioritize their safety, comfort, and routine. I take the time to learn each pet's personality, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any medical or behavioral requirements. During walks, I always use secure leashes and harnesses, avoid unsafe areas, and stay attentive to my surroundings. In clients' homes, I respect their space, follow all care instructions carefully, and make sure pets are comfortable, secure, and never left in unsafe situations. I provide regular updates and photos after each visit so owners know their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for.
