About: I’m new to Rover but not new to taking care of pups! Last year I fostered dogs through Hearts and Bones for 4 months when my schedule allowed for it. Also, I have been a dog walker and over night caretaker for many friends and families dogs! I love dogs and all pets, I look after them with care and kindness. I have experience with dogs who have special needs and one of my fosters dogs had surgery while I was taking care of him so I am also familiar with many situations! Hello! This summer I transitioned from being a software engineer to a student to pursue my Tech MBA at NYU. Most days I have one class from 9am-noon near Washington Square Park then spend my rest of the day in the area or back home in Williamsburg near Mccaren Park. I am very trustworthy and respectful of everyone’s space. For dog walking and sitting I am very good with instructions and you can count on me to take the best care of your pet!

About: I’ve been caring for dogs of many sizes for the past 7 years. I run regularly and have plenty of energy to keep up with your pup. And I’ve been a dog owner myself for my whole life! I take care of dogs of all ages and activity levels, and have experience administering medications and tending to dogs with special care needs. Anything your four legged friends need and more, I’m ready to provide. I work remotely and love to take breaks walking dogs! At the moment I am between jobs, so I am filling my time with as much pet sitting as possible! I have my own apartment, so your dog(s) will get my full attention at my home or yours. When sitting I take walks at least every 2 hours, and more often for high energy pets. I am also comfortable with special feeding and medication schedules, and love to care for all the special needs your for your special pets!

About: Dogs have been part of my life since I was young, growing up around my neighbor’s Sheltie. Since then, I’ve dog sat a wide range of pups, from puppies to seniors. I’ve spent the most time with adult and senior dogs, including several with high anxiety and high energy. I’ve also lived with a senior dog myself, so I understand the extra care, patience, and routine that older pups often need. On top of that, I’ve dog sat for my parents’ Border Collie on several occasions, so I’m comfortable on a long, active walks. Add in my experience fostering rescue dogs, and I’ve learned to recognize what each individual dog needs. I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible for walks, playtime, and routines throughout the day. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s current schedule and will do my best to keep things consistent for them. On walks, I make sure their leash is snug and properly fitted to prevent any slipping. If they have a GPS tracker or AirTag, that’s even better peace of mind, since in the rare case they were to slip away, we’d be able to locate them quickly. In my apartment, I have great visibility on your pet at all times since I live in a studio, so I’m always aware and make sure they don’t get into anything they shouldn’t. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority.

About: I, too, love long walks around the city no matter the weather! You can count on me to be available, flexible and enthusiastic about taking care of your pet. I have working experience with leash reactive, energetic dogs as well as very motivated and trained herding dogs. I'm comfortable with using specific words when talking to your dog, and understand that every dog owner has their preferences when it comes to the way their dog is cared for. I grew up loving on my family's pit bull mixes that were varying degrees of sweet sleepy heads and strong, willful escape artists with a penchant to run. As a result, I'm experienced with caring for a wide variety of doggy personalities and behaviors, from dogs that thrive with very specific commands to dogs that just love a laidback walk around the neighborhood. As any good dog walker would, I'll make sure they have lots of fun (and stay out of trouble)! Looking forward to meeting you and your pet! :) Also: I speak French, in case that's helpful for you! I'm a recent UC Berkeley graduate who just moved to Chelsea. I'm currently looking for a job, so I am flexible on availability and timing. I would love to add some consistent dog walks and pet visits to my routine, and am open to one-off bookings, too. I will not be bringing pets into my home, and I'm not currently looking to house sit. That said, I will happily comply to any considerations when it comes to your space.

Henry can sometimes decide that he doesn’t want to walk and will need some encouragement. Megan knows how to tailor his drop-in visit so that Henry gets the most out of their time together such as waiting for Henry to potty outside and then shortening the walk and adding more in-door playtime. Henry also taken time to potty, so also waiting for him to a little longer after it appears he’s done is something that Megan does as well. She just gets it! Thanks Megan!”

About: Life doesn't always stick to a schedule, and that's why I'll be your go-to choice so you can have peace of mind from your morning meetings to your evening dinners. I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child, growing up with two big twins of my own. And I've sat for animals with a variety of physical and dietary needs, ranging from morning runs with the jumpiest puppies to quiet nights with elderly hounds. I'm a full time college student, so my availability is flexible. On weekdays, I'm typically available in the midmorning to midday and sometimes the evening, and even more on the weekends. Reach out and we can always chat about it! Having grown up with two large dogs, I know how to keep a tight leash if needed. On the other hand, if your pup is shy then I may be able to arrive early to let your pup get used to me and/or discuss ways to help your pet feel safe under my care. This comes at no extra cost to you.

About: I’ve had a family dog since I was in 3rd grade. I also trained our Shetland sheepdog puppy over COVID. I trained her— everything from house breaking, leash training, general obedience and tricks! Due to a congenital condition, over the past few years she has become almost completely blind. So I have experience with special needs dogs and the care of them. I also regularly pet sit my friends’ dogs in the city. I have a flexible work schedule with the option to work from home in the West Village. I am generally available week nights and weekends! I have a fence in my apartment for the living area if needed. I have no other pets in my apartment and happy to follow whatever safety protocol you’ve established with your pet.
