About: Animals have been drawn to me my whole life, just as I have been drawn to them! I’ve had about every pet you could think of, and even went vegan for ethical reasons and never went back! Dogs have a very special place in my heart. I’m comfortable around all dogs and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs, I will dedicate my time to loving them just like you do! If possible, I would love to be able to take them to the dog park where they can also interact with other animals while you're away. I have a sweet dog of my own, a cockapoo, who is full of energy and curiosity! I couldn’t live without him. I work from home 4 days a week which allows me to spend lots of quality time playing in the park and making new furry friends! I am also flexible and can accept last minute bookings. When I’m with your pets, I would love to take your precious babies for walks, to parks, or take on anything you already do with them to make them the most comfortable!

I’m the kind of sitter/walker that tries his best to actually understand what the animal wants and give the best kind of experience and love to them as possible. I spend lots of time playing with all and usually walk the dog 3 times a day with a trip to the dog park once a day (unless he doesn’t want to) I am a very tidy person in my own home and will treat your home as such. I understand that your pet is the top-dog/cat of the home and will treat them as such. I will make sure they are happy and safe in their own space and make it look like I was never there.

About: I have been taking care of dogs, both big and small, for years. I have been a sitter & walker for friends, family members, & neighbors; anyone who knows how much I love dogs has always been eager to let me care for them whenever they cannot. I suppose my genuine love for dogs is simply that obvious that others have taken note and decided they could trust me with their furry friends. I truly enjoy the work and while growing-up I often did it without charge for friends and family. All dogs are good dogs in my opinion and I just know I will get along with yours just as well. I work primarily as a freelancer, so my schedule varies often, but mostly I have an abundance of free time because of it, and in my opinion this is a great use of that free time. I unfortunately can't have a dog in my current apartment, so this is the next best thing for me. I have plenty of experience handling large dogs on leash as well as dogs others would consider 'unruly'. It requires loads of patience and compassion to form trusting bonds with dogs, and that's what I try to focus on first & foremost when starting a relationship with dogs to whom I'm a stranger. With a bit of love & patience they usually warm up to me pretty quickly, but if not it simply requires more time and gentle attention to earn their trust. On walks I like to include at least one visit to a nearby park so your dog can get the necessary mental stimulation as well as exercise. With your permission I'd try to socialize them with other dogs as well; making sure to keep a watchful eye on them at all times to ensure they remain safe and continue to enjoy the experience. I try to keep my walks to one or two dogs at a time, at most three, so that I can give your pup the proper attention and make sure they stay safe while out & about. I also make sure to have plenty of treats on me during walks to keep them happy and provide positive reinforcement for good behavior. (If your dog is on a diet or has any food allergies, please let me know and I will take that into account. I can provide alternative treats for those with allergies and other forms of positive reinforcement for those on diets.)

About: Note: Please let me know if your dog is leash reactive/isn’t good with other dogs before we book. I’ve volunteered at dog shelters and love walking friends’ dogs around NYC! I’m experienced with various breeds of dogs and always make sure they feel safe, happy, and exercised. Whether your pup needs long walks, playtime, or just some company while you’re at work, I’ll treat them like my own. I’m responsible, communicative, and always send updates so you can relax knowing your dog is in good hands. I have a 9-5 job, but I can pick which days I work from home (2/week)! I am always available on Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays, and can be available on specific days of the week with advance notice (3+ days). I’d love to help out! When caring for pets in their own home, I always follow their usual routine as closely as possible — from feeding and walks to playtime and cuddles. I make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection, and I keep their space clean and comfortable. I’m respectful of your home, reliable with instructions, and send regular updates with photos so you always know how your pets are doing. About: Life doesn't always stick to a schedule, and that's why I'll be your go-to choice so you can have peace of mind from your morning meetings to your evening dinners. I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child, growing up with two big twins of my own. And I've sat for animals with a variety of physical and dietary needs, ranging from morning runs with the jumpiest puppies to quiet nights with elderly hounds. I'm a full time college student, so my availability is flexible. On weekdays, I'm typically available in the midmorning to midday and sometimes the evening, and even more on the weekends. Reach out and we can always chat about it! Having grown up with two large dogs, I know how to keep a tight leash if needed. On the other hand, if your pup is shy then I may be able to arrive early to let your pup get used to me and/or discuss ways to help your pet feel safe under my care.
