âI am so grateful for Ava! She is communicative, kind, careful with instructions, and absolutely the type of pet sitter youâd want for your fur babies. I will be booking her for all my future pet sitting needs!â

âOur two cats were in great hands with Sophie. She was prompt each day on her drop ins to feed them and provided great updates and lovely photos of our two fur balls. We're happy to have Sophie as a cat sitter!â
About: My family has always had a dog(s) and cat! I have had a dog since the day I was born and a cat since the age of 8. Since the age of 13, relatives, and friends would always know that if they had anywhere to travel, their fur baby was always well cared for when left in my care. Now living in Mew York City since 2019, friends and family know that I will not only come to their place to walk as well as look after their pets while away or if they cannot make it home in time, Iâll happily have their pets come to my home if they need to! I have cared for many breeds such as Australian Shepards, Australian Cattle, Norwegian Elk Hounds, Retrievers, Labs, Huskies, Doodles, German Shepards, Chihuahuas, Pit Bulls, doberman pinchers, and many more. With owners approval I am more than happy to include a trip to the dog park while on a walk, as well as do send photo and video updates of your fur baby while youâre at work or away! I am more than happy to aid in training, grooming, and various health care needs that your fur baby may need! My âWagBagâ always has two small bowls, 2 water bottles, 1 frozen water bottle, a bag of treats, two rolls of âpotty bagsâ, a first aid kit, disinfectant wipes, umbrella, towel and hand/paw towel, and a rechargeable battery pack, My most recent dog of my own was a Miniature Golden Doodle and got Aurora when she was 8 weeks old, and had her leash and house trained with in the first few weeks of being home. Her calm and social personality was great with kids, other dogs, cats and all who came to hang out with us. My former students said that she was incredibly sweet for letting us use her treats for a zoom fraction lesson! I am currently wide open and extremely flexible with scheduling. Due to a medical leave of absence, I stepped out of the classroom and am ready with an open schedule! Within my pet friendly building, there are private terraces open for outdoor training needs, I also within my apartment have space for crates as needed and space to ensure your fur baby has activity space as well as have their own cozy corner so they are at ease and can have their safe zone as needed!
âHannah was fantastic. Very communicative and sent lots of photos. My cat seemed to warm up to here quickly which isnât always the case! Will definitely use Hannah again.â

âThank you Christopher for taking such good care of Cosmo when I was gone for the weekend! Christopher was super responsible, responsive, and communicative. Great pet sitterâ
âAlina was great! Very reliable, great communication, and handles things great. She sends great photos and videos. My automated feeder had some difficulties and Alina was able to adjust to manual feedings easily. Thank you!â

âVanessa was an incredible cat sitter. She arrived promptly and kept my partner and I in the loop by sending us sweet pictures of her pampering and treating Lena as her own. I can be a bit paranoid leaving my 20 year old cat, but the two of them seemed to really bond and when we got home she was brushed and looking pretty. Highly recommend Vanessa to anyone who wants a perfect cat sitter.â

âAmazing as always! Melissa is the best and has helped me out with last minute requests, I'm so grateful that she was able to check on my cat June while I'm awayâ

âErika took care of my cat daily for over a week, and was very responsive and friendly throughout. I would highly recommend her if youâre looking for cat sitters in the area!â

âAnother amazing experience w Tina! She noticed we were leaving a little earlier than we normally do and asked if she should accordingly adjust her visit times - super flexible and able to anticipate our needs! Reliable and trustworthy ! Communicative! Our regular sitter !â

âMary did a great job taking care of our rabbit while we were away! It was so nice to have the peace of mind that comes with knowing someone as patient and loving of animals was taking care of our unusual creature. Thank you Mary!â

About: âď¸ Get $20 off your first booking! Use code ANTOIC46087: https://www.rover.com/sit/antoic46087 For the past 26 years, dogs have always been an integral part of my life. I am lucky to have been surrounded by their love since I was 6, and (not to brag but) have always been my dogs' favorite human in my family. From a 16 year old toy poodle diva, to an anxious but goofy rescued doppelgänger of Dante (from Disney's Coco), I have plenty of experience training and caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and different needs. DOG BOARDING - snuggles after playtime to calm your dog down before bedtime is an important thing I've learned from raising a hyperactive beagle puppy HOUSE SITTING - light occasional snack can help with bonding and distracting a dog who is anxious to have a stranger home while waiting for their beloved human to return DOGGY DAY CARE - tidying up my own place not only for my own good, but also to keep dangerous items or poisonous foods out of reach DOG WALKING - running, brisk walking, or slow strolls :) ⌠Schedule â I work mostly from home, so your fur children can always have my time and attention, and regular walkies or outside breaks. ⤠Environment â I am confident that your fur baby will trust and feel safe with me. I live on my own and can give them 100% of my attention.
âWe needed a last minute sitter over the holidays and tbh since I hadn't used Susan previously I was naturally a little nervous. However Susan was very kind and professional. She took very good care of our two cats and respected our place. I would definitely recommend!â

About: Hello! My name is Cameron, and everyone who knows me knows I love animals (especially dogs!). I work from home and have another dog-loving, work from home roommate, so someone will always be home to play with your pet. I've been doing Rover for 4 years and have experience with all different breeds, sizes, ages, and needs. I'm a punctual person and take pet care very seriously. Ultimately, I am a passionate animal lover and will treat your fur-baby with all the love and respect they deserve :) I'm a homebody who works from home with another WFH roommate, so I can guarantee that your fur baby will be cared for 24/7. I love incorporating dog walking/boarding into my routine and even taking them to dog-friendly events if the dog is interested. My schedule is very flexible and I'm usually available for same-day bookings! I'm an early-riser who loves routines and can stick to a consistent exercise/feeding schedule. When sitting/boarding, I can ensure your dog is let out frequently, fed regularly, and getting lots of attention. Iâll take them for long walks in the sun or snuggle inside when it's cold. As much as I love to play games and snuggle with pets when they're missing their owner, it's important to me that I cater to the animal's desires to make them comfortable. Whether your pet is active, lazy, shy, aggressive, or in need of a good round of fetch at Tompkins Square dog park, their safety and happiness is my top priority. I understand that every dog is different and will work to accommodate their preferences. Additionally, I adore taking photos of pets and I'd be happy to share photo updates of our time together. You can rest easy knowing your pet is safe, loved, and having a great time! Please note that I have moved from the East Village to Little Italy, and most of the photos on my profile are from my old apartment.
Little Italy pet parents share their Rover experiences
Claudia is the best! She takes such good care of our boys, they were very happy and relaxed when we returned from our trip. She goes out of her way to keep us informed on their well-being, sending lots of photos and videos. Sheâs very thoughtful and considerate always.

Rikki is the best!! She really spends the time understanding what Phoebe likes and doesnât like and catering the experience based on that. She makes Phoebe little homemade toys and even brings her a âhappy bagâ so she can sniff around! Phoebe has given me so many helpful recommendations as a new cat owner - including bowls, vets, toys, behavioral suggestions, etc. I know she really cares for her kitty clients and you can tell because the kitties love her right back! Phoebe will literally take naps on her lap :â) If you want someone who will go the extra mile to really engage with your cat and make them happy while youâre gone, then Phoebe is the right person 1000%

Peter was great with our very stranger-shy 8-month-old Bernedoodle, who does not let new people touch him. Peter has worked with patience, understanding and kindness to gain Codyâs trust, including extending the one-hour drop-in gratis to just let Cody get used to him. Peter is thoughtful and loving to animals and we look forward to working with him again soon.

I felt so comfortable and worry free on my time away because of Kevinâs care of my two cats. He provided them with some really great play time (and sent adorable videos of it) and followed all feeding and cleaning instructions. He was super thorough in his communication and flexible when some plans changed. Would absolutely book him again for my next cat sitting needs

Our boy Romeo just loved Jenny and took to her immediately! Jenny has a sweet and understanding way about her. She understood and implemented our parameters, and her experience with dogs was apparent via her observations. She was firm yet gentle. Thank you Jenny!

I can always trust Christopher to look after my kitty while Iâm gone! He is very attuned to her. I love that he sends me videos to show me how sheâs doing. This time, Christopher was kindly able to add an extra visit at the last minute after my travel delays!
