“Kirsten was great! Kept me updated each day and really went the extra mile. Came back to a very happy, healthy cat. Could tell from the pictures that Mel really liked her too (:”

“Samantha did a wonderful job taking care of my kitty! She set thorough updates and lots of pictures each day. I would book Samantha again, as she is a wonderful and trustworthy pet sitter.”

“This was my first time having Rosanna take care of my cats, and I was a bit nervous since one of my cats had recently experienced a urinary blockage and was on a special diet. He's also very sensitive to changes in his environment. However, Rosanna worked wonders! Within just a few days, Tuxi came out of his hiding spot and was greeting her at the door. In addition to looking after the cats, Rosanna also watered my plants, gave me helpful tips for encouraging Tuxi to eat his new food, and even helped with managing their hairballs. I would definitely trust Rosanna with my cats again in the future. Thank you so much, Rosanna!”

“Mary went above and beyond taking care of my two cats while I was gone for a full week. One of my cats had a few accidents while I was away and Mary when the extra mile, ensuring he was okay and cleaning up the area. She also was extremely communicative, sent plenty of pictures, and gave my cat so much love! I could not recommend her enough!”

About: Animals have been drawn to me my whole life, just as I have been drawn to them! I’ve had about every pet you could think of, and even went vegan for ethical reasons and never went back! Dogs have a very special place in my heart. I’m comfortable around all dogs and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs, I will dedicate my time to loving them just like you do! If possible, I would love to be able to take them to the dog park where they can also interact with other animals while you're away. I have a sweet dog of my own, a cockapoo, who is full of energy and curiosity! I couldn’t live without him. I work from home 4 days a week which allows me to spend lots of quality time playing in the park and making new furry friends! I am also flexible and can accept last minute bookings. When I’m with your pets, I would love to take your precious babies for walks, to parks, or take on anything you already do with them to make them the most comfortable!
“Chris was absolutely amazing taking care of my cat Ginny while I was away for 2 weeks. I was far away and wanted a sitter who was responsive since I felt bad leaving for so long and it gave me such peace of mind to get regular detailed updates from a Rover who would respond to any follow up messages extremely quickly! Ginny is a pretty shy cat who is quite clingy with me but rarely with others but she took to sitting on Chris’ lap and showing off her silly side - a real testament to Chris’ ability to work with cats who can be a little more reserved than dogs (of all the cats I’ve had growing up Ginny is by far the shyest) :) Would 100% book Chris again :) he’s the best!”

“Brianna was a godsend. Super responsive when I needed a cat sitter at the last minute. She took great care of my shy boy who warmed up to her instantly. Really appreciated the thorough daily notes and multiple photos. Will be using her again.”

About: ⭐️ Get $20 off your first booking! Use code ANTOIC46087: https://www.rover.com/sit/antoic46087 For the past 26 years, dogs have always been an integral part of my life. I am lucky to have been surrounded by their love since I was 6, and (not to brag but) have always been my dogs' favorite human in my family. From a 16 year old toy poodle diva, to an anxious but goofy rescued doppelgänger of Dante (from Disney's Coco), I have plenty of experience training and caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and different needs. DOG BOARDING - snuggles after playtime to calm your dog down before bedtime is an important thing I've learned from raising a hyperactive beagle puppy HOUSE SITTING - light occasional snack can help with bonding and distracting a dog who is anxious to have a stranger home while waiting for their beloved human to return DOGGY DAY CARE - tidying up my own place not only for my own good, but also to keep dangerous items or poisonous foods out of reach DOG WALKING - running, brisk walking, or slow strolls :) ✦ Schedule ─ I work mostly from home, so your fur children can always have my time and attention, and regular walkies or outside breaks. ✤ Environment ─ I am confident that your fur baby will trust and feel safe with me. I live on my own and can give them 100% of my attention.
“Melanie was amazing!! My cat Gus immediately warmed up to her and she sent me lots of pictures of them snuggling and updates on how he’s doing. Would recommend, definitely very reliable and great with cats!!”

“Vanessa was an incredible cat sitter. She arrived promptly and kept my partner and I in the loop by sending us sweet pictures of her pampering and treating Lena as her own. I can be a bit paranoid leaving my 20 year old cat, but the two of them seemed to really bond and when we got home she was brushed and looking pretty. Highly recommend Vanessa to anyone who wants a perfect cat sitter.”

At home, my partner and I have two cats (5yrs and 10yrs) and one dog (14yrs). I spend lots of time playing with all and usually walk the dog 3 times a day with a trip to the dog park once a day (unless he doesn’t want to) I am a very tidy person in my own home and will treat your home as such. I understand that your pet is the top-dog/cat of the home and will treat them as such. I will make sure they are happy and safe in their own space and make it look like I was never there.
“Carter was awesome. He’s a real professional and wasn’t phased by giving one of our cats meds. He totally took care of them and I had total peace of mind. Highly recommend!”

“Gigi dropped in on my cat for several days. She was super responsive and on top of things. When I returned, I could tell that my cat was well cared for while I was gone. I would recommend Gigi to anybody!”

About: Note: Please let me know if your dog is leash reactive/isn’t good with other dogs before we book. I’ve volunteered at dog shelters and love walking friends’ dogs around NYC! I’m experienced with various breeds of dogs and always make sure they feel safe, happy, and exercised. Whether your pup needs long walks, playtime, or just some company while you’re at work, I’ll treat them like my own. I’m responsible, communicative, and always send updates so you can relax knowing your dog is in good hands. I have a 9-5 job, but I can pick which days I work from home (2/week)! I am always available on Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays, and can be available on specific days of the week with advance notice (3+ days). I’d love to help out! When caring for pets in their own home, I always follow their usual routine as closely as possible — from feeding and walks to playtime and cuddles. I make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection, and I keep their space clean and comfortable. I’m respectful of your home, reliable with instructions, and send regular updates with photos so you always know how your pets are doing. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays, I treat every pet like my own.

About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life. I grew up with my mini schnauzer, Chiky, who I had for 11 years and took care of from a young age. She was truly my best friend, and growing up with her taught me just how important dogs are in our lives, how much genuine, selfless love they give, and how much care and attention they need in return. I currently work a hybrid part-time job, so I’m home most of the time. Occasionally I have to go into the office, but it’s very close to home, so I’m still nearby and readily available. I’m flexible during the week for walks, drop-ins, and sitting, and I’m fully available on weekends! I live in a top-floor apartment that’s very homey and cozy, with lots of natural light from skylights. While I don’t have a yard or balcony, I make sure dogs get the exercise and care they need through walks and playtime.
“Mia is an enthusiastic animal lover who did a lovely job taking care of my geriatric Maine Coon cat. She is conscientious and kept me informed while we were away. I would hire her again.”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and truly love caring for them. Over the years, I’ve had experience with a variety of breeds, including Shiba Inu (and mixes), Yorkshire Terrier, Beagle, and Labradoodle, so I’m comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I always focus on creating a safe, happy, and positive experience for every dog. Being around them naturally makes me smile, and I do my best to make sure they feel the same way during our time together. I’ve completed 300 walks on Wag, gaining hands-on experience with many different dogs, and I love staying active—so your pup will get plenty of exercise, attention, and fun on every walk! I’m a part-time dog walker, but my schedule is pretty flexible, so I can usually work around whatever time works best for you. Just give me a heads-up a day in advance, and we’ll make it happen! I mainly provide walking services, but I’m also happy to do drop-in visits or house sitting at your place (my apartment isn’t big enough for dogs). I typically walk dogs around Lower Manhattan and Chelsea. Wherever we go, your pup will get plenty of fun, exercise, and attention! I always prioritize safety, comfort, and a positive environment for every dog in my care, whether we’re walking outside or spending time at your home. Before our first walk or visit, I like to learn about your dog’s personality, habits, and preferences—such as their age, gender, favorite activities, how they react to other dogs or people, and any food allergies or sensitivities. Knowing these details helps me provide a safe, fun, and stress-free experience tailored to your pup, so they can enjoy their time with me while staying happy, healthy, and well cared for.
About: I have had a dog since I was young. I have taken my dog and friends’ dogs on walks together throughout the years. I was known for taking care of my friends’ pets while they went on vacation. I checked in with their pets at their homes at least three times a day. There were occasions where I was also handling providing medication for the pet as it had different prescriptions during their time away. I just graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and moved. I have a lot of time over the weekends and some weekdays! I am always home to keep your dog company and love playing with dogs. I can sit outside with them or play with them indoors!

Christopher was so great with our complicated situation! We have three cats with different food and medication needs, so we wanted to make sure we were in good hands. He was super calm, kind, helpful, and sent great photos. He also was patient with our shy cat and gave him good attention once he was ready. We would highly recommend Christopher and will definitely book him again!

Madeline is an incredible cat sitter and we totally trust her with our three precious cats. We will be booking with her again. She is reliable, responsive, punctual, and attentive to all our cats needs. She asks the right questions to make sure she knows exactly how we want her to take care of our babies so we feel no worries when we’re away. She even left our house clean after our trip!

She’s incredible. I’m highly disorganized and she was able to navigate all of the unanswered questions and provide the best care. My cat has digestive problems and she is always very diligent. I cut my trip short and came back a day early. Easily adjusted the visit schedule and it was an overall great experience. This is my 2nd time with her and 10/10 fabulous.

Nayeli was communicative, responsible and considerate, and went the extra mile while watching my cat - she even brought over a treat (after asking my permission) to give my shy girl to get her to come out. She is clearly an animal lover and I would highly recommend her!

I can't recommend Jihyun enough! This was my first time booking with her, and she went above and beyond from the start. She did a meet-and-greet to get to know me and my two cats and learn their routines, then came back a second time to pick up a key when I didn't have a spare ready which was incredibly accommodating. While I was away, Jihyun sent photo updates, played with my guys, and followed every instruction I left. She was also incredibly respectful of my home. I have a camera I keep on to check in on my cats and told her she was welcome to turn it around during visits, and she said it was no problem at all to leave it as is. She's a fast/responsive communicator, trustworthy, and my cats were happy and relaxed when I got home. Already planning to book her again!
If you have a cat, Ganlu is like the guru of sitters. Honestly, I don’t think you can find better care. We booked her for an extended period and she just surprised me every day. We had a bunch of sitters through the years that did the basics which was ok, but Ganlu did so much more: she played every day and even brought toys, she brushed our cat on a regular basis, she cleaned and vacuumed the dining and litter areas, she happily did me a few favors as well. She was flexible with the booking, communicative, she let me know about any concerns with our cat. So grateful for her, we had peace of mind even if we were gone a while.

Anne is truly the best! She took such incredible care of my cats while I was away on vacation. She kept me updated with thoughtful messages and photos the whole time. Coming home to two happy, relaxed cats made it clear they had been loved and well cared for while I was gone. Will definitely have her watch them again!

Chloe is an absolutely amazing sitter! She is super clear and communicative and great with my pets! My cats hide when anyone else checks on them, but they seem happy to just come out and play with Chloe - definitely a huge weight off my mind when I need to travel!

Jacky has cared for my cat on a handful of occasions now, and she’s been awesome every time! She’s reliable, thoughtful, and always goes above and beyond. The photos she takes are the best, and I always trust my cat is in good hands. Can’t recommend her enough!
