About: I’ve loved being around pets for as long as I can remember. Friends and family have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets like they were my own. I’ve looked after everything from 4-pound Chihuahuas to three Bernese Mountain Dogs at once—and I’ve enjoyed every moment. I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities, from high-energy pups (like my old roommate’s dog, who I helped train) to shy, skittish dogs (like the one I grew up with). For the past few years, I’ve also been working through Rover and helping neighbors with pet care—primarily watching an older dog recovering from ACL surgery and an elderly cat with special needs. I take pride in being patient, reliable, and tuned in to what each pet needs to feel safe and loved. I’m currently pursuing my Master’s at Columbia and taking evening classes, which means I’m available during weekday work hours for walks, drop-ins, or daytime sitting. I’m also fully available on weekends for walks or in-home pet sitting. While my apartment doesn’t allow pets, I’m more than happy to pet sit in your home or take your dog on walks. I’m very comfortable meeting new dogs, handling walks, and crating if needed. I always adjust to each pet’s personality and routine—whether that means sticking to house rules, keeping up with high energy, or cuddling on the couch. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away.

About: Why, hi! I’m a Yale graduate and current Columbia Law student looking to get my pet snuggle fix while making use of my flexible schedule. - Dogs: I’ve had family dogs my whole life, and I frequently watch my friends’ pups. - Cats: I grew up having, petsit for, and really adore cats. You can often find me sitting on NYC streets petting neighborhood dogs and trying to resist adopting all the cats I see. I will treat your fur baby like my own! After working for several years, I’m currently back in school as a law student. This means I’ll have time to play with, check in on, walk, feed, give belly rubs to etc. your pet on a somewhat flexible schedule. I live in an elevator building with grass, parks, and green space nearby. In your home, I’ll keep your pet comfortable while respecting your space.

I actually begged my parents to let me get a dog, promising them that I would be responsible and take great care of him—and I’ve kept that promise ever since! Taking care of my own dog has taught me how much patience, attention, and love pets need every day. I’ve taught my dog eight different tricks, and I love spending time training, playing, and going on walks with him. Whenever I’m at my grandma’s, I always make sure to walk and spend time with her dog too. More recently, I’ve started dog-sitting for friends, which has given me even more experience caring for dogs with different personalities and needs. I understand that every pet has different needs, so I’m flexible and willing to adjust my schedule to make sure your pet feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. I treat every pet like they are my own and make sure they are always in a safe, comfortable, and supervised environment. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any special routines or rules. I make sure doors and gates are secure, keep pets away from anything unsafe, and always pay attention to their behavior and needs. I want every pet to feel comfortable, loved, and at home while their owner is away. I’ll also keep owners updated so they can have peace of mind knowing their pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I have walked all kinds of dogs since I was 15. I started with Pitbulls in my neighborhood and walked all sizes since then. I went on to adopt a dog 10 years ago and now live with my fiancé who brought her own dog into our home. I will always be a dog father for the rest of my life and truly value what they mean to someone as a pet/partner and in some cases -child. I already walk my dog 3 times a day so pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. Currently dog walking is my only profession as I look for work so I am completely open to accoedmate any scheduling requests. Having walked many different types of dogs throughout my life, I know that each dog has different personalities and needs that must be accommodated for. Each pet has its own routine that helps make sure they are happy and healthy. One of my dogs is very good at communicating when he needs to go outside, and I can read his cues and take him out for multiple walks in quick succession. Another one of my dogs is much more of a habit former and appreciates a longer walk that tires him out and gets all his energy out of his system. I constantly check on them both emotionally and physically to make sure there are no problems with their habits or their physical bodies. I always like to make sure the dogs I take care of get to spend quality time with me either at my home or at the client's home to help relax them after or before a long walk. I never leave the house without checking they have food and water readily available, and a treat to make sure they're feeling loved and cared for.

About: My Mum is a trainer and behaviorist and I have been surrounded by both my own and other dogs most of my life. I treat them like family, which they are, and am happy to help last minute, go above and beyond to be compassionate and understanding of each dog. I’m not someone to shy away from a bark or accident on the floor, I understand it may come from fear, excitement or feeling sick. I myself am nervous of the care for my own when away, so what to provide a service I would expect for my own. I also won’t be on my phone, not paying attention, my eyes and energy are with them. I am happy to answer any questions, walk, play and have an in person meeting before choice made on hiring thank you For you consideration and I look forward to hearing from you. I"m Hannah! I work as a freelancer so can easily jump into sitting, walking and other services at short notice. My own dog is walked three times a day, two short (30 ish mins ) and a long walk around an hour. My cats get play time regularly, and I would provide the same happily for other pets. For dog walking, we would go over your 'house rules' so to speak - shoes off, wipe paws, towels for rain days, coats and whatever is needed to keep your dog happy and healthy. As well as walking or in-home care in your home, I will do play time - mental stimulation games and general play, depending on your dog's needs. I like to be made aware of any kinds of allergies, habits and quirks - make it as safe and enjoyable for your dog or cats as possible, as I do my own I’m also not going to be on my phone walking you dog...my focus is on them.
