About: I’ve loved being around pets for as long as I can remember. Friends and family have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets like they were my own. I’ve looked after everything from 4-pound Chihuahuas to three Bernese Mountain Dogs at once—and I’ve enjoyed every moment. I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities, from high-energy pups (like my old roommate’s dog, who I helped train) to shy, skittish dogs (like the one I grew up with). For the past few years, I’ve also been working through Rover and helping neighbors with pet care—primarily watching an older dog recovering from ACL surgery and an elderly cat with special needs. I take pride in being patient, reliable, and tuned in to what each pet needs to feel safe and loved. I’m currently pursuing my Master’s at Columbia and taking evening classes, which means I’m available during weekday work hours for walks, drop-ins, or daytime sitting. I’m also fully available on weekends for walks or in-home pet sitting. While my apartment doesn’t allow pets, I’m more than happy to pet sit in your home or take your dog on walks. I’m very comfortable meeting new dogs, handling walks, and crating if needed. I always adjust to each pet’s personality and routine—whether that means sticking to house rules, keeping up with high energy, or cuddling on the couch. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away.

“We’ve had some great cat sitters on Rover— Claire was *exceptional.* One of our kitties likes to poop when she’s mad that I’m gone, but it seems like Claire spent such quality time with them, there was no anger poop!! We got tons of pictures (even videos!), and Claire took absolutely excellent care of our girls. She was happy to bring in our packages (we were getting wedding presents), and made sure to let me know when they arrived. Our shy kitty came out for her after only a few days and seemed happy to see her when she would visit. I would 100% hire Claire again, I just hope she’s still in NYC!!”

About: With a almost 2 year old husky/cattle dog mix at home, we’re basically professional walkers at this point , no trail too long, no park too big! Amber takes him on runs, and we’re constantly hunting for new hidden gems around Central Park to explore. When we care for other pups, we bring that same energy, making sure they feel right at home (and maybe a little spoiled too!). Both of us have unusual schedules at work so we are super flexible when it comes to our schedules. We are available during the day for a quick puppy visit, longer walks or overnight for boarding! We lead caring for pets with love and we never force dogs in an uncomfortable situation. We do everything to make sure our pet is comfortable even during new challenging situations as he grew up from an anxious puppy to a confident adult dog.

About: I had the joy of growing up with a Labrador, two Chihuahuas, a Yorkie, and a Japanese Spitz. Each one taught me about the dedication and joy of caring for these companions! I’ve also volunteered at the Humane Society, where I tended to dogs of various sizes and temperaments. I’ve been working on Rover for 4 years, and dog-sitting/walking outside of Rover for 10+ years. I am a graduate student with a very flexible schedule during both weekdays and weekends. Please message me for any scheduling questions you may have. With years of pet experience, I know to always put the animal's safety first. Whether that's checking a harness before a walk or making sure that they only eat the food they are allowed to eat, these things are always at the top of my mind. I have a lot of experience with more reactive dogs, so I know how to make sure that they are safe on walks. About: I owned a puggle for 13 years and loved caring for her. I started Rover in 2022. I’m the person who immediately flocks to the dog at a house party. I know where dogs love to be scratched most (in their ears and right above their tail). I love a dog’s energy and reciprocate. I love slobbery dog kisses. I have a positive attitude. I’m a runner, surfer, and love exploring NYC on foot. I enjoy an active lifestyle with sunshine. I work in advertising and production downtown. I could make a cute video of your dog and take perfect photographs. I work remote so it can truly be at any time of the day fortunately. I have a day job which ends at 5-6pm M-F, but all hours before, during, and after are likely to work. And certainly the weekends, though I do attend Sunday service around 11am-2pm. Pets are not allowed in my home, but I have no issue being in the customers’ homes. I can definitely look into if I can host them.

About: I have several years experience owning and caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I'm comfortable with multiple dogs at once and available for individual walks, overnights and extended stays. I can also help with the administration of medicine, bathing and other miscellaneous household or careaking task. I'm also happy to run errands, pick up mail or any other random task you may need during walks. Looking forward to meeting you and your pups! I currently work overnight/early morning shifts so available mostly for afternoons and evenings but happy to help out in the mornings and/or as much as my schedule allows. Your dogs and cats with be safe, loved and cared for with me. I can't accept pets into my home and but happy to stay in your home to give them any extra care and attention they need.
