“Adeib was fabulous! He kept me up to date with everything going on with my dog Cookie and sent me lots of pictures. Adeib is a natural when it comes to taking care of dogs.”

“Razan was wonderful with Scooby. She has such a calm and gentle energy, which was so good for him. He felt very comfortable with her, and I could tell he was in great hands. Will absolutely book her again 😊”

“Brianna is meticulous and well organized. Before the stay, she asked all the important questions so she didn't need to ask anything while we were away. She sent so many good pet photos and spoiled our beans and left the house nicer than it was when we left. She even saved our dying house plants.”

“Allie was super attentive and caring with my pup, Kobe! I felt super secure knowing he was in great hands. Would highly recommend, and will definitely be booking her in the future.”

“I’ve had the privilege of having Monique stay in my apartment with my dog several times now and I can never say enough positive things! She sends frequent daily updates with photos, is always incredibly communicative, and my dog is clearly so well taken care of, as is my apartment. I’m so happy to having such a trusted sitter for my dog!”

“Caroline is an outstanding sitter—professional, reliable and kind. She took careful care of our Max and showered him with affection. We received timely photos and video — evidence of what we saw when they met: Max loved Caroline. We absolutely will work with Caroline again!”

“Alice and Ethan were communicative, responsive, and respectful during their stay with Bolin. Although Bolin is a shy dog, they were able to bond with him easily and provide great care. I appreciate their help!”

“Jeanette was wonderful! My dog Willow was at ease with her right away, tail-wagging! She was punctual, sent many updates and I would definitely have her sit for us again!”

“Madeline is the best! She stayed with my two pups for a week and was incredible. She sent me a full update each day with many pics! She was communicative, caring and followed all of my instructions.”

About: Hello! My name is Patty, and I’m a lifelong cat lover who truly enjoys caring for animals. I have two cats of my own, Sol and Luna, both two years old, so I understand firsthand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets. I’ve cared for them since they were kittens, and I’m comfortable working with cats of all ages, from playful little ones to more independent adults. Pets have always been a big part of my life, and I know that each one has their own unique personality and needs. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to adapt to whatever makes your pet feel safest and happiest, whether that’s playtime, quiet companionship, or sticking closely to their routine. I’m currently a student at Columbia University, which gives me a flexible schedule for drop-ins and house sitting. I’m also happy to help with small extras like watering plants while you’re away. I’m open to last-minute bookings whenever possible—just send me a message, and we can find a time that works! I’d love to help make your time away stress-free, knowing your pet is in caring and capable hands. I am a full time student at Columbia, so I have a very flexible schedule. I am specifically looking for opportunities to pet sit over the summer when I will have the most availability, allowing me to stop by as often as you would want me to. I treat every pet like they’re my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I pay close attention to their routines, whether that means sticking to feeding schedules, getting in plenty of playtime, or just providing calm companionship. I’m experienced with different personalities and energy levels, so I adapt to what each pet needs. Whether it’s long walks, belly rubs, or extra patience I am here for it. Your pet’s happiness and well-being are always my top priority.

About: I’ve spent my whole life caring for and training both dogs and cats, so being around animals just feels natural to me. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and I’ve cared for everything from high energy puppies to anxious dogs and sweet senior pets. I work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to focus on pet care. I live an active lifestyle and enjoy going on regular walks, so I’m able to provide dogs with consistent exercise, attention, and outdoor time. I take pride in creating a safe, caring, and reliable experience for every pet I look after. I prioritize creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment that matches each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I follow all feeding, walking, and medication instructions carefully, and make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection throughout the day.
“Durgaprasad was great! My dog Penelope really loved spending time with him. As a puppy she requires a lot of attention and bathroom trips. I can tell DP really enjoyed spending time with her and talking care of her. He was followed all my instructions and left my places clean and organized. I will definitely work with him again.”

“Marianne was great with our senior cat on a long trip. We knew we could trust her since she has a senior cat of her own. She administered his eye drops perfectly. We highly recommend. Thank you Marianne!”

“Yeisha did a great job with my four fur babies! I gave detailed instructions for feeding plus medications and supplements and treats which she followed to the 't'. The dogs loved her and I appreciated the daily pics ~ I would definitely use her again.”

“Wonderful care for Jax! Consistent and thoughtful updates, very cautious and tuned into care instructions, and responsive always. Will absolutely book again!”

Morningside Heights pet parents share their Rover experiences
Raphael did a wonderful job of watching my senior dog Fermi when I had to leave on a last minute work trip. He is great with dogs and Fermi was very happy and affectionate with him from the initial meeting. I really appreciated that he was very communicative with regular updates and lots of pictures, and he also left the apartment in immaculate condition. I would definitely ask Raphael to house sit again next time I am out of town and highly recommend him!

Pedro is amazing. We have two senior golden retrievers who are not as mobile, and Pedro did a great job taking care of them as well as our apartment! He was extremely communicative, took many photos and videos, followed our instructions on how to take care of our senior dogs, checked in with us often. Would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a responsible person to help caring for their dogs!!
Mohammed is the best! He was super flexible when my plans got rearranged. He stayed in my apartment and took after my kitties like they were his own. He sent updates and pictures every day, followed all my necessary instruction, and kept my home clean. 10/10 would book again!

Anita took excellent care of my shy, skittish rescue dog. She made her feel safe, and they became friends. Anita was very concerned about her welfare, and very communicative with me. She sent messages, photos, and videos, and she asked questions when she was unsure. She was also considerate in her care for my apartment. I will ask her to dog sit again when I go away in the future.

Robin was awesome! My Rummy takes a minute to come out of her shell, but she was in great hands for a week. Robin easily won her over and the communication was 10/10 – I received daily updates with photos and if there were any concerns, they were flagged. I’d recommend Robin for any feline sitting!

I can’t recommend Steve highly enough. I only had my newly rescued three-year-old husky for about three weeks when I had to leave the country for a 9 days, so I was understandably nervous about leaving him so soon. When my original pet-sitting plans fell through just 48 hours into the trip, Steve stepped in and immediately put my mind at ease. From the start, it was obvious that Steve genuinely cares about the animals he looks after. Huskies aren't exactly couch potatoes, and Steve was more than up for keeping up with my energetic guy. What I appreciated most was how tuned in he was! Not just to my dog's physical needs, but to the fact that he was a newly adopted rescue still finding his footing in a new home. Steve sent thoughtful updates throughout my trip, and every one of them made me smile. I never had to wonder how things were going because it was clear my dog was getting plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. When I got home, my apartment was spotless, my dog was happy and relaxed, and it felt like everything had been in great hands while I was away. For a first-time experience leaving a newly adopted dog, I honestly couldn't have asked for a better sitter. I would trust Steve again in a heartbeat.
