Rachel alleviated all of my worry and more -- my old, anxious girl (who is attached to my hip) clearly had a wonderful time! In fact, she was looking for Rachel the rest of the night after I got home! Rachel is so caring, communicative, and professional. She is there for the safety, comfort, and fun for your pets first and foremost. I am so lucky to have found someone I trust so fully to take care of my animals next time I need to travel!”

About: I've had pet dogs and cats (multiple at once) for most of my life, and have been trusted by neighbors throughout my life to take care of their furry friends. I am a very active person who loves to play with and walk dogs with plenty of paw-sonal (lol) experience of handling different types of leash behavior. I am firm with the leash, generous with the treats and scratches, and totally down to walk to your dog's content! I work in the mornings Monday-Friday, but I can usually swing early morning visits (8am or earlier) and I am home most days by 3 for afternoon/evening bookings! I can occasionally fit in evening/overnight care on a client-to-client basis, feel free to message me to see if we can make our schedules align! I thrive when I am given clear instructions on your pet's wants/needs. When tasked to feed pets I do so on a regular time frame so your pet doesn't get hungry or anxious from a shifting schedule. I can provide as much attention as your pet needs, from playing fetch for an hour straight to simply chilling on the couch and giving pets and scritches a-plenty. I follow owner preferences on treatment of pets (i.e. frequency of treats/method of cleaning up after them/reenforcement of training and home rules).

About: I’ve taken care of all types of dogs for most of my life. I raised, trained, and took care of 2 very different dogs of my own starting 7 years ago. One of them is a rescue with his own specific needs and quirks so I am experienced with reactive and nervous dogs. I also have cared for many other people’s dogs. I’ve walked and care of senior dogs and helped with their unique care needs. I am attentive, responsible, and genuinely enjoy building bonds with the animals I care for. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and happy while you are away. I am currently a part time retail worker, so I have plenty of time and a flexible schedule for carrying for your animals. I am available for walks and in home visits everyday of the week, and I am flexible and easy to reach to set up the exact plan for your animals. I am very aware that each and every pet are very different. That’s why I am attentive and detail oriented in order to properly care for your pet in the way that it needs.
