“Drew is fantastic! He offered to meet Mavi the day before the walk and it really helped to establish familiarity. She came back so happy. I know who to contact in the future 🙌🏼”

“Such a delight to work with. She’s an effective and quick communicator. Super accommodating to your needs and needs of your pet. Alicia was flexible and made both of our schedules work. My dog, Fiona, took a liking to her immediately. Fiona could sense that Alicia is a good person and someone she can trust. Alicia was gentle with Fiona, so I could easily feel safe with her in Alicia’s care. I am currently injured with limited mobility, so Aleicia was also attentive to my needs and helped me out in the best way she could. I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart because I have been so worried about providing Fiona with a regular walk schedule and proper exercise and she took a lot of weight off my shoulders. THANK YOU SO MUCH, Alicia!!! She went above and beyond for myself and my fur baby to provide an incredible and easy experience. She will be the only reason that I will continue to use Rover in the future.”

About: I've been around dogs my whole life and have real hands on experience with animals of different ages, from young energetic dogs to seniors who need a slower, more attentive pace. I'm comfortable reading dog behavior and adjusting how I interact based on what each individual animal needs. Beyond experience, I genuinely enjoy it. This isn't a side job I'm indifferent to. I'm a nutrition science student which means I'm detail oriented and take health and wellness seriously, for people and animals. I notice things, I communicate well, and I show up the same way every time. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I'm genuinely a dog person, not just someone who works with animals. This summer I'm based in Harlem full-time, so I'm available for walks, drop ins, and sitting throughout the day. I keep a consistent schedule and I'm flexible with timing; mornings, afternoons, and evenings all work. Dogs get my full attention, not a rushed visit. I treat every home I'm in with real respect. I keep things tidy, stick to the routines the owner sets, and make sure pets feel settled and safe rather than anxious. I'm experienced with dogs of different ages and temperaments, and I pay attention to their individual cues rather than applying a one size fits all approach. If something comes up like behavior, health, or anything unexpected, I communicate right away. Owners shouldn't have to wonder how their pet is doing.
“Steven is responsive, accommodating, and picked up on my pup’s personality so quickly! In addition, Steven has been reliable and flexible when unexpected scheduling issues occurred on our end.”

“This was our first time using Rover and a dog walker and Brittany is now Quincy’s new special friend! We appreciate so much her willingness to come to meet Q ahead of the first walk/visit. Great experience and we feel very fortunate to have found Brittany to trust Q with. We are so grateful!”

“Marin is absolutely incredible! She is highly communicative, so there is never a surprise with anything related to her service. She took great care with our little Chuchi. She was sensitive to his needs and accommodated his adventureous spirit. We are very protective of your little guy and with Marin, there was never a doubt that he was in great hands. Marin is our go to person to care for Chuchi! If you hire her, you will not regret it!! Thanks a million Marin!!!!☺️😌”

“Masie was wonderful and a true lifesaver for a last-minute request! When my partner and I couldn't be home to walk my big girl, Masie stepped in. Since this was Lola's first time meeting her, she was a bit nervous and had a small accident inside. Masie was incredibly attentive, helped calm Lola's nerves, and even took the time to clean up the accident. She truly put my dog and me at ease. We're already looking forward to booking with her again!”

About: Hi! I’m a reliable and attentive pet lover with 6 years of experience as a dedicated dog mom. I understand how important it is to know your pets and home are being cared for by someone responsible, patient, and genuinely loving. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, giving lots of attention, and keeping pets calm and comfortable while you’re away. I also take pride in keeping homes clean, secure, and well cared for during house sits. I’ll treat your pets like family and your home with respect and care! I have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, consistency, and care throughout the day. I’m available for walks, check-ins, overnight stays, and making sure your pets feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Animals tend to warm up to me quickly because I’m calm, gentle, and attentive to their individual personalities and needs. I love spending quality time with pets, giving them affection, playtime, and patience so they feel comfortable, safe, and genuinely cared for.
“I knew my three pets were in great hands with Lindsay. Ince we met initially, I felt she had a true commitment to caring for animals of all types. She is amazing at communicating and asking neccessary questions, even things that hadn't crossed my mind. She is prompt and professional and committed to the task. She walked my dog and fed my cats and showed love to them all. I found a dog walker I can trust finally.”

“It was difficult finding a sitter over the busy holiday season that was good with a shy/skittish dog like ours, so glad we found Fatima!! Our dog was immediately comfortable around her, and we knew they’d enjoy their nice long daily walks together. Fatima was also very communicative, she met him beforehand, was helpful in fixing my scheduling mistake, and sent us Rover Cards for every walk. We look forward to booking with her again!”

“Brianna was absolutely amazing!! She was so quick to respond when I needed some last minute! So communicative, helpful, patient, and kind. I will definitely be using her a lot in the future:)”

“Dayshalis was great! She was very prompt with her communication prior and throughout caring for our dogs. She was conscientious and considerate. We appreciate all of her help!”

About: I grew up with dogs and took care of the dogs in the neighborhood for extra cash in high school. I love animals and I even found a way to incorporate that love into my undergrad psychology education at Oswego with courses in canine behavior. I'm currently a work from home graduate student working towards my MA in psychology so I have plenty of felxibility to help you fill in the gaps for your pet care needs. I live in a quiet building across the street from a park for routine exercise if your fur baby happens to be staying with me. There's always time for a good walk and a nap.
About: I am a dedicated pet care provider that is comfortable with any animal shape or size. I am very passionate about my job and making sure the pet Im taking care of has all of its needs, and ofcourse some slight spoilage! I started out in dog daycares and moved on to do all kinds of animal care work. I have experience with senior dogs and puppies as young at 2 months old! I am educating myself to become a dog trainer and can help provide tips when it comes to building human-canine relationships. I can also do specials needs such as insulin shots. I am also in the process of becoming a certified Animal Handler in New York State, so I can further my education in animal care. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry baby! I currently work part time once a week at a Grooming academy. So i will have plenty of time during the week to spend time with your pet! I also live with animals so I am constantly spending my time walking feeding and caring for them. I walk the dogs at least 4 times a day. Morning, mid day, evening, and late night relief. Also depending on the weather a trip to the dog park. I live in a spacious apartment with 3 cats and two dogs. I have done my best to provide a sanctuary here for my animals and any visitsors who comes across us. I have one room dedicated to the animal with cat trees and soft spaces. Water fountains (for dogs and cats) and beds for lounging. I have gates for separation during feeding times and a nice big couch everyone is welcome to lounge on!
About: I have open availability 🥰❤️ I’m a crazy animal lover. I’ve been loving animals since the day I was born, and since I can’t own any pets of my own. I decided it would be best to work with animals and I definitely love it because I get a chance to treat them as if they are my own. :) -experience, skills, qualifications- Worked at Sean Casey Animal Rescue for a year. It was the best time of my life. I learned so much. I had to deal with every animal you could think of, from dogs to cats, reptiles, hamsters, birds, and bunnies. However, I spent the majority of my time taking care of dogs, and cats. Walking dogs, training them basic commands, and grooming. I have skills set in basic training, oral medication I learned over the 10 years, so I've got you covered in that area! My biggest thing for my clients is that they trust me, meet and greets are for free, so please take advantage of that! I want to have a relationship with you, I want to trust you, I want you, family (family including fur babies) to trust me. Not only that, if you ever need someone to walk, drop-in, or house sit even if it's for 3 days, I want you to know that I'm here. If there's no trust, there's no happy client. My goal is to make my clients happy. I have open availability :) as long as I do not have any gigs or anything of the sort, my availability is pretty open. Thank you :) I’m extremely vigilant when it comes to my care. I think that’s due to my trauma mixed in with my anxiety and depression (don’t mind me just making fun of myself 🤪) but, I also communicate everything when it comes to your pets! :)

Kelly and Frank were such kind, considerate, and communicative walkers for Tito! They went the extra mile coordinating with my other dog sitter and paid extra care to Tito’s injured paw by adjusting his walking schedule and playing with him inside. I would definitely book them again in the future!

I am happy I found Catherine! Her love of and experiences with dogs is apparent. She has a great attitude and she was great with my dog. She arrived on time and after a short introduction with my pup they were off for the allotted time. She shared photos along the way and a summary post walk. I would book Catherine again!

We had a great experience with Prachi! She was reliable, communicative, and took wonderful care of our dogs and cats while we were away. We appreciated the updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind knowing our pets were happy and well cared for. As newcomers to the city, we’re happy to have found someone we can reach out to for future pet care needs! 💛
