About: I was raised by dogs... Well actually, I was raised with them! I grew up with dogs in the house and was known in my community as a reliable sitter when people went out of town or needed a temporary walker. I have experience caring for bigger and smaller dogs of all ages. Currently missing my Australian Cattle Dog, Chief back home. I am currently a doctoral student and have class two days a week, so Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays are my most open days of the week. While my apartment is rather small, we could discuss options for sitting for longer periods of time. That being said, I am always willing to go on walks, stop in for at-home visits, or walk your pup to appointments or play dates, etc. I will accurately follow your dog's schedule, including walks, feeding times, and pre-bedtime belly rubs, to name a few, and will always maintain active communication with you to ensure you are up-to-date on everything that is going on with your dog(s). My apartment is also free from any hazards (i.e. cords, balconies, etc.), so if you decide to look into a more extended stay option there is no cause for concern here!
About: With a year of diverse pet-sitting experience, I excel in caring for all dogs – from comforting puppies to comforting seniors. I've handled sick, big, angry, and shy pups, ensuring each receives tailored attention and affection. Balancing part-time school and work, my dedicated pet care fits seamlessly into my schedule. I’m available all day Saturday and Sunday, and on Wednesdays after 4:30 PM, for your pet's needs. In both home and client settings, I prioritize a safe, comfortable environment. Whether at my place or theirs, I ensure tailored care, regular exercise, and lots of love.
“Lane showed up for a very late notice walk and was great with timing and responsiveness, and had been a reliable and trustworthy walker for my (very old) dog Peanut. Peanut loves the walks, comes back tired out from a good walk and happy. Highly recommend!”

“Lateasha took great care of my dog, both during their walk and afterwards. She followed all the post-walk care, including giving her breakfast. I got back a happy and exercised pup!”

About: My first word was “doggie” so needless to say, I’ve been a dog-lover and owner my whole life. I’ve been caring for my own dog Leia for 9 years now, from the early puppy stages to her now senior years and everything in between. I’ve also had a terrier, a blue heeler, two dachshunds, and a poodle mix, so I am accustomed to all kinds of dog personalities and energy-levels! I'm also experienced with reactive dogs and understand how to ease anxiety for both you and your dog on walks and visits. My schedule is very flexible as I WFH freelancing, so I can accommodate any special circumstances needed! I am up early with my dog and take her outside 3 times a day with at least one long walk whenever the weather is nice! I freelance from home so I create my own hours and can accommodate your pets needs and already existing schedule! I have a one-bedroom apartment with plenty of spaces for your dog to snooze and lounge throughout the day. My apartment gets great sun in the morning for a little sunbathing and has a long depth so there is plenty of room for fetch.
“Carlos has been walking my pup Nala weekly for months now! He is extremely reliable, responsive and thoughtful about his walks with Nala! He writes super descriptive notes about the walks and even has prompted me about reducing or modifying Nala’s walks to prevent her from overheating in nys oppressive summers. Thanks Carlos!!!”

About: I grew up with my very own Yorkie, who has sadly passed, but now I spend my days being the stepmom to everyone’s pups. I’ve pet-sat on and off for three years and am capable of doing walks, playtime, feeding, and anything else your pet needs. I’m a full-timer, but my availability is flexible. I can do early mornings (before 10:00 AM), late nights (after 6:00 PM), and all day on weekends. I’m pretty hands-on and like to be active with dogs. That looks like playing with toys, giving lots of affection, or just relaxing together if that’s what they want. I try to make sure every pet is happy and comfortable, whether I’m at my place or theirs.
“Amanda is amazing!!! I am a veterinarian and she walked my pup for a year while I worked very long hours. She was always so flexible if I needed to change the date or time. She was kind, reliable, and my dog loved her. I recommend using Amanda for your rover needs!”

Carnegie Hill dog parents share their Rover experiences
Emily took excellent care of our dog Chicory when we needed multiple walks a day, all in a row. She was communicative, prompt, and handled our energetic dog very well. Chicory loved his time with Emily and started waiting at the door for her to arrive. We will definitely be rebooking the future!

Danielle was amazing! She was attentive to Annie’s specific needs and personality. She always made sure she was dressed for the appropriate weather. She sent us cute photos as well! Annie always got a good walk with her and liked her! So did my cat! Will definitely be using her again.

Lio is so sweet with our dog and always communicates with us in a timely fashion. From day one she has been reliable, communicative, and caring. She always provides timely updates, photos, and little notes about each walk. If you are looking for someone professional and compassionate for your pet I highly recommend her. She will go above and beyond to care for your pet!

Marina and her sister have been lovely to communicate with and are true professionals! She was so patient and sweet to my dog, who can be a little shy around new people, at their meet and greet and I’m so grateful to have found someone who I trust completely to be our regular walker! She has been extremely responsive to bookings/messages, takes lots of pictures during walks, and has gone above and beyond to be flexible with timing. I recommend her without reservation.
