“I have had the pleasure of Mishel walking my 60 lb boy now more than several times. She is always punctual and responsive to my messages. Marx has no complaints and neither do I.”

“We had a great experience with Prachi! She was reliable, communicative, and took wonderful care of our dogs and cats while we were away. We appreciated the updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind knowing our pets were happy and well cared for. As newcomers to the city, we’re happy to have found someone we can reach out to for future pet care needs! 💛”

“We just met Ceci and they were super adept at picking up on our dog-reactive dog's behaviors. Our dog calmed down quickly with Ceci and they were nicely loose-leash walking by the end our our meet-up! Ceci was a great listener to my ramblings and intricate strategies for working with our dog's reactivity. They asked thoughtful questions and already put into play some of the techniques that we use to keep our dog under threshold. Can't wait for Ceci and our dog to walk together again soon!”

“Kristian was so professional and easy to communicate with. He never made me feel annoying sending a bunch of messages and checking in. I would definitely say that he was the most professional and confident dog person I've connected with through rover. I am happy we found him!”

“As always, Maria is so great with my senior dog with special needs. He always looks forward to his walks and time with her. ❤️ she is really caring and reliable and that means everything.”

“Katelynn was great walking my dog, Tino! She sent photos and kept me updated. I even came home to a sweet note she left after her first walk with my pup. Great service and I’m glad my boy has a new friend!”

About: My most recent pup family member is a Shih Tzu I took in because he was being abused by his owner. He’s become my best friend from all the patience and love I’ve given him. I also helped my roommate in college raise two gorgeous Border Collies that we adopted when they were 8 weeks old. My schedule is extremely open for taking care of furry friends. I’m a personal trainer and dog walking is is the most enjoyable way for me to make sure I’m getting my steps in every day! I have a fenced in yard and a wonderful walking trail next to the water that I’d walk your furry family at. I’ll give your pet all of the action they need to get their much needed energy out.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember! Wether it be my own, my friends, or my neighbors, i’ve always loved and been very in tune with animals and nature. I have helped puppies with potty training, socialization, equipment dressing, crate training, recall, and more! I have also taken care of senior animals. Providing them comfort while administering any extra care or medication they may need, including injections of subcutaneous fluids. Overall, I have a ton of love and care for animals, as well as experience keeping them as safe and comfortable as possible. I’m currently interning remotely at a film production company located in Los Angeles. I only work Tuesdays and Thursdays and even then have a very flexible schedule. If you need a great last minute sitter/walker, i’m here for you! I treat your homes and pets as if they were my own! I am incredibly detail oriented, careful, considerate, and adept at problem-solving. I will carefully listen to any and all directions you provide and follow them to a tea, as well as be independent enough to prevent or solve and issues that may arise. I would love to ease your stress and help you take care of your beloved homes and animals!
“Such a delight to work with. She’s an effective and quick communicator. Super accommodating to your needs and needs of your pet. Alicia was flexible and made both of our schedules work. My dog, Fiona, took a liking to her immediately. Fiona could sense that Alicia is a good person and someone she can trust. Alicia was gentle with Fiona, so I could easily feel safe with her in Alicia’s care. I am currently injured with limited mobility, so Aleicia was also attentive to my needs and helped me out in the best way she could. I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart because I have been so worried about providing Fiona with a regular walk schedule and proper exercise and she took a lot of weight off my shoulders. THANK YOU SO MUCH, Alicia!!! She went above and beyond for myself and my fur baby to provide an incredible and easy experience. She will be the only reason that I will continue to use Rover in the future.”

“Tom was extremely caring and sent numerous of updates while being super respectful that I was on vacation. Thank you so much Tom. I know Kobe misses you and will definitely be seeing you soon. Your geniune love for dogs is incredible. Thanks for taking him as your own. THANK YOU TOM”

About: I am a reliable, loving professional with years of animal-care experience. My work in a kennel has made me especially confident in my abilities to cater to different needs, (cats/dogs, temperaments, quirks), multi-task, and stay on my feet. I raised both my dogs from puppyhood, and have helped my older dog, Grace, adjust to being unable to use one of her legs. Through this I have learned how to modify walks by taking lots of rests (or using her wagon!) as well as bandage her legs and put them in a brace. I bring the utmost care, passion, and fun to pets that I’d want my own to have! I am available sporadically throughout the day, 7 days a week! Any time from early morning and as late into the evening needed. I am taking ongoing clients at this time, also! I am very gentle and understanding of different needs. My mastiff loves to play rough, but my sharpei loves the sweet side of people, so I know how to cater to different needs!
About: I’ve been a pet parent for over 6 years (to my Yorkie and a recently adopted cat), so I know how important it is to take care of these beautiful creatures. Besides my own, I’ve taken care for family dogs (like a Husky) and I very occasionally pet-sit for friends' dogs (Maltese/Shih Tzu mixes) and kittens. I’m known for being timely, organized, and really patient with pets that might be a little shy or slow to trust I have a really flexible schedule right now. I'm fully open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. I’m also free Monday afternoons and some Saturdays. I’m big on following instructions. If your cat is shy and needs space, or your dog needs a specific walking route, I’ll stick to the plan. I’m an NYC local, so I’m hyper-aware of cars and street safety. I treat your home and pets with the same respect I’d want for my own
About: Caring, reliable sitter for dogs, cats, and rabbits. I respect routines, provide consistent updates, and prioritize patience, comfort, and making every pet feel safe and loved. At the moment, I’m fully available for all your pet’s needs. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I’m up early—my cats usually wake me around 5–6 a.m. for breakfast—so I can easily accommodate early morning feedings. Living by Central Park means doggies get plenty of fresh air and exercise with nice walks in the park. Throughout the day, I make sure pets get playtime, attention, and any other care they need, and I’m happy to adjust my schedule to meet each pet’s routine and preferences. I prioritize safety, trust, and a comfortable environment for every pet I care for. When I’m in your home, I follow your routines closely—feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions—so pets feel secure and at ease. I understand how important it is to trust someone in your home, so I’m always respectful of your space, belongings, and privacy. During walks, I keep dogs on leash, pay attention to their surroundings, and adjust the pace to their comfort and energy level. I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing consistent care, attention, and affection to help them feel happy and safe.
About: I've been around dogs my whole life and have real hands on experience with animals of different ages, from young energetic dogs to seniors who need a slower, more attentive pace. I'm comfortable reading dog behavior and adjusting how I interact based on what each individual animal needs. Beyond experience, I genuinely enjoy it. This isn't a side job I'm indifferent to. I'm a nutrition science student which means I'm detail oriented and take health and wellness seriously, for people and animals. I notice things, I communicate well, and I show up the same way every time. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I'm genuinely a dog person, not just someone who works with animals. This summer I'm based in Harlem full-time, so I'm available for walks, drop ins, and sitting throughout the day. I keep a consistent schedule and I'm flexible with timing; mornings, afternoons, and evenings all work. Dogs get my full attention, not a rushed visit. I treat every home I'm in with real respect. I keep things tidy, stick to the routines the owner sets, and make sure pets feel settled and safe rather than anxious. I'm experienced with dogs of different ages and temperaments, and I pay attention to their individual cues rather than applying a one size fits all approach. If something comes up like behavior, health, or anything unexpected, I communicate right away. Owners shouldn't have to wonder how their pet is doing.
About: I have taken care of my three dogs since they were puppies; two of whom are now seniors who need a little extra care with medications and routine. I have learned how to be extra patient with my older babies and make sure that their comfort is my top priority, given that they need more patience around other dogs and getting around. I have taken care of my cat since he was a kitten and learned how important autonomy is to cats. It has taught me that patience builds a good relationship with animals and that they deserve respect as well.I love taking care and bonding with animals, it is something that brings me a lot of joy. I am currently working on Mondays and Wednesdays, so any other time of the week is a good fit for me. I am available to care for pets at any time of the day as well. I am respectful of your pet's boundaries and will work with any accommodations they require. I can crate dogs, administer medication, feed, play with, and walk your pet. I am comfortable working with large and small dogs.

About: I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, as I grew up with dogs my entire life and currently own three cats. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have also provided dog and cat sitting services for family members and friends, helping with feeding, walking, playtime, and general care. My experience with animals has made me patient, dependable, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. Adapting to their different special personalities, ensuring they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I have a consistent work schedule from 10 AM to 6 PM Thursday through Monday, which allows me to maintain a reliable routine and plan pet care responsibilities effectively. I am available before and after work for feedings, walks, playtime, check-ins. I also have Tuesdays and Wednesdays fully open, giving me extra flexibility and availability to provide attentive and dependable care for pets. My home provides a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment for cats. I currently have three cats and make sure they have plenty of space and entertainment, including one medium cat tree, one large cat tree, and a window perch where they can watch birds and squirrels throughout the day. Next to the perch is a basket full of toys to keep them active and engaged. I maintain four litter boxes that are cleaned three times daily to ensure a clean environment. While I’m at work, I leave cat TV on for extra stimulation and comfort. Each morning before work and again in the evening, I feed my cats wet food and refresh their water. While also occasionally refilling an automatic dry food feeder as needed so they always have access to food.
