“This was my first time leaving my pup with someone new (and for nearly an entire weekend!). I was entirely more nervous for Genesis than I was for Honey haha! Honey is very high energy and has a tendency to get into stuff she isn't supposed to. However, the weekend seemed to be pretty smooth sailing. First off all, I'm very grateful for Genesis' promp response to my request. Her response time to every other message before, during, and after was super impressive as well. I was immediately comforted by pictures of Honey being introduced into the home, as well as with the three pictures a day I had received of Honey's walks outside. Definitely recommend Genesis to any dog parent who is nervous about leaving their baby alone. I was able to actually enjoy my time away knowing that Honey was in good hands.”

About: I have had many pets since I was a kid. The ones I always connected the most are dogs, they made me learn so much about companionship and loyalty. I have plenty of time to walk with your pups! Usually I’m available during the whole weekend and before 10 a.m and after 5 p.m for walks. I can fit out of those window time and days if your need is boarding. I care for your dog as they were mine. My main service is walk with our furry friends but I can do boardings at my home when needed

About: I’ve always been surrounded by dogs, whether it’s my sister’s or my cousin’s dog. As a nurse, I already have the compassion and caretaking qualities. If you’ll entrust your best friend to me, I’ll give them plenty of love and care. I’m a night shift nurse working three shifts a week. I’m always trying to take advantage of the daytime to catch some sun- hopefully your dog will join me in those times on a sweet stroll. A firm believer in touching grass, I’d dedicate my stretches of days off when I’m not working to take your furfriend out for some much deserved playtime! I live in an apartment that is dog friendly. My home has plenty of space albeit a one-bedroom unit. There is a security system built into place as well.

About: I have grown up caring for many different types of dogs, from puppies to rescues. Most recently, I had the privilege of caring for a my favorite fella, a collie, until his final days as a senior at 16 years old. Since his passing I have not yet rescued another baby, but I spend time volunteering as a Level 2 Dog Companion at ACC. I have completed Fear Free Trainings with the Shelter as well as various other trainings that involve caring for, navigating, and managing more complicated dog behaviors that include leash reactivity, dog reactivity, fear and anxiety, shyness, among others. Notes about my specific availability: Wednesday and Thursday: from 3-6pm only and intermittently Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 11am -3pm only I just finished my doctoral degree and teach part-time. My teaching schedule typically resides Mon - Thursday at varying times. I spend much of the rest of my free time working at home or taking walks in the city. When caring for a visiting dog, I devote the majority of my time engaging with them. I do not have a yard and live in an apartment. I have taken the extra effort to provide toys, and a bed for visiting friends. I am attentive to potential hazards and take the extra effort to dog proof before a visitor. The few small plants that I have are pet safe, and I only use pet safe products in my home.

About: My love for dogs started the moment a stray wandered into my yard when I was a child - I hid him in the backyard for three days before my parents found out ! :) I’ve been caring for animals in various capacities for most of my life and have been part of the Rover community since 2022. About: I grew up with dogs my entire life and now have my own boy, Larry. I’m new to rover after using rover for my own pup but I am very comfortable walking all kinds of dogs whether they are friendly or ver nervous. I also have some expertise giving medications to dogs as well! I currently work Monday-Friday 9-5 so I would be available weekdays after 6pm. I have random wfh days that I would also be able to leave for a bit to walk your dog! On weekends I am generally available depending on my schedule! I am not able to take dogs in my house however, in someone else’s house, I will abide by any and all rules to keep your space clean and respected!

I even find ways to DIY them! - I will scoop litter everyday because they deserve a clean area to do their business! - I always give them treats because I know how happy it makes them - I give them love whenever they want or ask for it - I have two cat trees (used to be 3, if i had space for more i’d totally have more!!) - I quite literally drop everything (of course not in emergencies) and give them love and attention whenever they ask - I take the time to read the ingredients on their food to make sure even they aren’t consuming processed ingredients because i care about their health and coat. - I have a water fountain because I prioritize hydration and know that it helps them see the water better & I make sure it is always pretty full so they never run out of water :) - I have two window hammocks! - I also have two dog beds! - Any decision I make, I always consider my babies :)

“This was my first time leaving my pup with someone new (and for nearly an entire weekend!). I was entirely more nervous for Genesis than I was for Honey haha! Honey is very high energy and has a tendency to get into stuff she isn't supposed to. However, the weekend seemed to be pretty smooth sailing. First off all, I'm very grateful for Genesis' promp response to my request. Her response time to every other message before, during, and after was super impressive as well. I was immediately comforted by pictures of Honey being introduced into the home, as well as with the three pictures a day I had received of Honey's walks outside. Definitely recommend Genesis to any dog parent who is nervous about leaving their baby alone. I was able to actually enjoy my time away knowing that Honey was in good hands.”

About: I have had many pets since I was a kid. The ones I always connected the most are dogs, they made me learn so much about companionship and loyalty. I have plenty of time to walk with your pups! Usually I’m available during the whole weekend and before 10 a.m and after 5 p.m for walks. I can fit out of those window time and days if your need is boarding. I care for your dog as they were mine. My main service is walk with our furry friends but I can do boardings at my home when needed
About: I have always been so passionate about dogs and taking care of dogs. Growing up I volunteered at a local shelter (shout out to Best Friends Animal Shelter! Also where I adopted my dog!) and absolutely loved it. I have always found such fulfillment and joy taking care of dogs and I feel truly confident I am a great dog sitter. I am also the main caretaker for my dog Bode (pictured in the profile pic!) and have taken care of friends and family’s doggies whenever was needed. From training and playing, to grooming and bathing, I am your girl! I am currently a student from home and a yoga instructor so I am flexible! I am totally equipped to handle any bathroom situation your pet has as well as being able to monitor their bathroom break needs. About: I have grown up caring for many different types of dogs, from puppies to rescues. Most recently, I had the privilege of caring for a my favorite fella, a collie, until his final days as a senior at 16 years old. Since his passing I have not yet rescued another baby, but I spend time volunteering as a Level 2 Dog Companion at ACC. I have completed Fear Free Trainings with the Shelter as well as various other trainings that involve caring for, navigating, and managing more complicated dog behaviors that include leash reactivity, dog reactivity, fear and anxiety, shyness, among others. Notes about my specific availability: Wednesday and Thursday: from 3-6pm only and intermittently Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 11am -3pm only I just finished my doctoral degree and teach part-time. My teaching schedule typically resides Mon - Thursday at varying times. I spend much of the rest of my free time working at home or taking walks in the city. When caring for a visiting dog, I devote the majority of my time engaging with them. I do not have a yard and live in an apartment. I have taken the extra effort to provide toys, and a bed for visiting friends. I am attentive to potential hazards and take the extra effort to dog proof before a visitor. The few small plants that I have are pet safe, and I only use pet safe products in my home.

“This was my first time booking Isabella for a one-night stay, and she was absolutely wonderful. Right from the start, her communication was excellent. We set up a meet and greet where she shared her past experience with dogs and carefully took notes on my dog’s specific needs. My dog has some medical conditions that require daily medication, which can be stressful to hand off, but Isabella wasn't intimidated at all and handled everything perfectly. It is such a relief to find someone so capable. We’ve already booked her for a longer stay next month and are really looking forward to it.”
