About: With over five years of experience caring for cats, I have a deep understanding of their nature and how to interact with them. I respect their need for personal space and am skilled at quickly recognizing their preferences. When they need me, I provide whatever care I can, whether it’s petting, playing, feeding, or offering attention. I get along well with my friends’ dogs, and they trust me enough to leave them in my care—even for overnight stays. I always follow their instructions carefully to ensure the dogs receive the care they need. I am a freelancer and work from home most of the time, which gives me a very flexible schedule to provide plenty of attention to pets. For cats, I make sure to brush them daily, feed them, and spend time playing with them. I will give all of my love to every kitty!!! For dogs, since I live just five minutes from Central Park in New York, I can take them for runs in the park and let them socialize with other dogs at the dog park. I live in a one-room apartment with my husband, Michael, who also loves animals—and animals love him too! Although we don’t have a yard, there is a platform by the window where small pets can bask in the sun. I also occasionally place a bird feeder on the terrace, so they can enjoy some bird-watching! Our home is kept impeccably clean and is on the fourth floor. Pets are free to roam and play around the house as they please. The windows and doors are always kept closed, so please don’t worry about them escaping outside. If a pet needs to stay at my home, I can host one to two cats or one dog at a time.

About: I’ve had dogs in my family since I was 10 years old and took care of pets in my townhome community throughout growing up. Now I just want to help others who don’t have time take care of their best friends. I’m currently an MBA student with a flexible schedule during the week. Can walk dogs at any/ad hoc times and am certainly available on the weekends I live in an apartment with my girlfriend and we are dog lovers, good at following your instructions and will provide great care and attention to your pet.

About: I’ve had animals as a part of my life ever since I was born. I’ve always had many kinds of pets in my house from dog, cats, rabbits and horses to even rats. I’ve been a dog sitter for around 5 years in my hometown and was hoping to continue now that I’m here in New York. I have lots of experience with dogs of all ages and sizes as my family has fostered many different dogs. I also have senior dog experience and canine dementia experience as I have fostered some hospice cases as well as my own childhood dog developing dementia later in life. I am familiar with medication administration though I do need assistance administering fluids to bigger or more reactive dogs, but pulling and injections usually aren’t a problem. I love all animals so please let me know if you need care for any kind of pets as I’ve always had in interest in reptiles and birds as well and would be happy to provide care!! I’m currently working part-time in the evenings, so my days a pretty wide open. I would be happy to get a consistent schedule going if you want to reach out and have a particular time or day you need check ins or walks for your pets! I am currently living in a studio apartment so as of right now I’m only willing to board 1 or 2 dogs from the same home at a time. I also cannot handle dogs more that 35 pounds at the moment just due to the space I have (though I do love big dogs). However in a clients home I would be happy to care for dogs of any size and I’m familiar with drop in care or also full stay in home care as well. I understand that lots of times dogs need to go out extra at night and as a night owl myself I am happy to accommodate! I can also help with older dogs that start to get more anxious at night by letting them go out and see the grass as much as they want and eventually getting them down to a point they can sleep comfortably.

“10/10 great with my big dog!”

About: I've grown up with dogs and recently lost my 13-year-old senior Labrador, who I painstakingly doted on as she battled a chronic disease for the last two years. My heart is broken now that she has passed but work precludes me from getting a new dog so I am interested in sharing my overabundance of dog love with some local pups who need someone to watch them. I have experience with both puppies and (obviously) a senior dog. I am a writer/editor based on the UWS and my job is remote so I am home most days and available to walk or pet sit. I go to Central Park for at least an hour every day and I would love a canine companion! I work from home on the UWS so I have a lot of flexibility. I am available Monday - Sunday for dog walking and/or dog sitting. Central Park is my backyard so I will take your dog on long walks there! I live in a spacious two bedroom apartment with my 16-year-old daughter. I am fine with dogs being on furniture and even the bed. My dog had free rein so that's what I'm used to. However, I'm also happy to enforce a no-furniture rule is that's desired.

About: We're your fur baby's second and third favorite humans after you, of course! My name is Sarah and I'm a Brooklyn born-and-raised native, and currently a transplant in UWS alongside my partner, Danny. I have personally loved dogs since petting a Kings Charles Spaniel at art lessons, and have been obsessed with dogs ever since. Danny shares the same obsession, which may be why we're partners haha. Our experience spans in dogs of all shapes, ages and personalities. From taking care of an overly-energetic teacup Yorkie to an anxious Schnauzer, we truly believe in caring for your dog like family (after all, they're your baby!) We work hybrid roles in advertising that are very flexible when it comes to WFH days (WFH 2-3 days a week). We alternate days WFH so someone will always be home with your fur baby. Our home is a spacious 1-bedroom apartment a half a block away from Riverside Park, making for a perfect spot to do a nice run which is extremely dog-friendly! We believe in feeling out what makes the dog comfortable, if they need their own little space to settle that is what they shall receive. We're open to cuddles all day as well (as much as the dog seeks) and are happy having them on the furniture, especially as our WFH buddy. As far as potentially taking care of your fur baby in your own home, we're huge advocate that your home is your sanctuary and respect all rules as well as providing a routine that is most familiar to your fur baby. One of us - or both of us - are happy to sit, however you prefer.

“Belle was so great! This is my first dog and my first experience with a walker and she definitely eased my anxiety! I will be working with Belle again!”

“Sarah was great! Very professional and responsive. She utilized the app well so I got tons of pictures and a map of her walk, which I appreciated very much. Will definitely be using Sarah in the future!”

About: I have experience pet sitting high-energy puppies who need to be worn out so they don’t take it out on the furniture, and experience taking care of senior dogs who just need a walk and some love. I’m available on weekday mornings and afternoons. I work part time as a voice teacher and spend the rest of my time attending auditions, so my schedule is flexible! I am respectful, on time, responsible, and will love your pets as my own! I will make sure all your instructions are carried out to a T!

“Azalea is great! I hired her to walk my two dogs while I was away for the weekend and loved how communicative, responsive, and responsible she was and that she actively asked questions. Would definitely hire her again!”

About: Hi! I’m Arielle — New York native, young professional, and animal lover. I currently live in the Upper West Side on 83rd & Broadway with my fiancé who adores animals & dogs as much as I do. As your trusted sitter, I promise to take care of your pup as if they are my own. I live in a currently pet-free home, and only accept 1 dog at a time, so your fur baby will have my utmost attention and care. Rover is how I get my puppy-love in, and it brings me so much joy to take care of dogs of all sizes for friends, family, and my NYC neighbors. I am open to any breed, big or small, as long as they are house-trained and non-aggressive. As you can probably tell from my photo gallery, I love to snap sweet pictures of all the dogs I watch. I am happy to provide you with photos and updates to keep you in the loop about your pooch. I work a corporate job, primarily from home, so I am typically flexible with my schedule. While I will be home to spend time with your pup, I do step out occasionally for workouts or quick errands — please let me know if your dog is unable to be left alone for a couple of hours. With my work schedule, I am typically flexible in terms of pet care during the week and during the day. Weekends are available as well. I have a 1 bedroom apartment with a large (and completely pet safe) outdoor terrace. I also live close by to Central Park and Riverside Park, where I like to take dogs to walk and play.

“Jasie was a great walker for our dog Charlie. Charlie easily connected to her, she sent adorable photos of his first dog walking experience. We’d love to use her again in the future.”
