About: I have always been so passionate about dogs and taking care of dogs. Growing up I volunteered at a local shelter (shout out to Best Friends Animal Shelter! Also where I adopted my dog!) and absolutely loved it. I have always found such fulfillment and joy taking care of dogs and I feel truly confident I am a great dog sitter. About: I have had many pets since I was a kid. The ones I always connected the most are dogs, they made me learn so much about companionship and loyalty. I have plenty of time to walk with your pups! Usually I’m available during the whole weekend and before 10 a.m and after 5 p.m for walks. I can fit out of those window time and days if your need is boarding. You could tell that she TRULY listened to everything that was said about our dog and her needs, when our baby was picked up she seemed very relaxed and content. We also got back any uneaten food which is a rarity as most sitters keep that food and tell you, your dog ate it all when you know its a lie. About: I’ve always been surrounded by dogs, whether it’s my sister’s or my cousin’s dog. As a nurse, I already have the compassion and caretaking qualities. If you’ll entrust your best friend to me, I’ll give them plenty of love and care. I’m a night shift nurse working three shifts a week. I’m always trying to take advantage of the daytime to catch some sun- hopefully your dog will join me in those times on a sweet stroll. A firm believer in touching grass, I’d dedicate my stretches of days off when I’m not working to take your furfriend out for some much deserved playtime! I live in an apartment that is dog friendly. My home has plenty of space albeit a one-bedroom unit. There is a security system built into place as well.

I've dog sat, been a dog walker, and have taken care of all sorts of breeds and dogs with special needs -- feeding, walking, bathing, and snuggling! About: I have six years of experience caring for family and friends’ dogs, ranging from puppies to senior dogs, with a maximum of two dogs at a time. Taking care of pets fits really well into my routine. During the weekdays I am available after 8 am and Saturdays after 9 am. Please note that I am unavailable most Sundays, but I accommodate if given notice in advance. I provide care exclusively at the client's home, ensuring their pets stay in a comfortable and familiar environment. About: I always had pets growing up from dogs to rabbits and even a guinea pig, which I helped take care of. I also have experience house sitting. I have house sat for cats, dogs, rabbits, and birds. I have plenty of experience walking dogs of all different sizes, and administering medication all different types of animals. I will be sure to follow any instructions as to feeding routines as well as ensure there is always fresh water accessible for them. I love any playtime/physical activity as well such as playing fetch and going on walks. I am totally equipped to handle any bathroom situation your pet has as well as being able to monitor their bathroom break needs. Any health care needs as well will be taken very seriously, whether it’s giving medication, changing bandages, or providing any treatments I ensure the pet’s health needs are met! I will keep a close eye for any signs of distress or disconcerting behavior and be sure to notify the owner promptly. Lastly, I offer companionship and comfort to these pets in the absence of their owners.
About: I have had many pets since I was a kid. The ones I always connected the most are dogs, they made me learn so much about companionship and loyalty. I have plenty of time to walk with your pups! Usually I’m available during the whole weekend and before 10 a.m and after 5 p.m for walks. I can fit out of those window time and days if your need is boarding. I care for your dog as they were mine. My main service is walk with our furry friends but I can do boardings at my home when needed

“My dog is NOT easy to take care of. He is young and vibrant still, but has had diabetes for a year now, and developed cataracts as a result. Sarge requires insulin and two eye drops in the morning, and insulin along with a second dose of eye drops at night. It's often difficult to find people who love your animals as much as you do, but Johann was AMAZING. We did a meet and greet first. He was so receptive and kind with Sarge as I spewed out all of the care instructions. He even printed off his medical administration records and had his scheduling/food/medicine ready to go when I came to drop off Sarge. I was out of the country and this was the first time Sarge has been with a dog sitter, but Johann made life so easy and even sent a few really cute pictures. I will *definitely* ask Johann to watch Sarge again if he'll have us. :)”

About: I have grown up caring for many different types of dogs, from puppies to rescues. Most recently, I had the privilege of caring for a my favorite fella, a collie, until his final days as a senior at 16 years old. Since his passing I have not yet rescued another baby, but I spend time volunteering as a Level 2 Dog Companion at ACC. I have completed Fear Free Trainings with the Shelter as well as various other trainings that involve caring for, navigating, and managing more complicated dog behaviors that include leash reactivity, dog reactivity, fear and anxiety, shyness, among others. Notes about my specific availability: Wednesday and Thursday: from 3-6pm only and intermittently Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 11am -3pm only I just finished my doctoral degree and teach part-time. My teaching schedule typically resides Mon - Thursday at varying times. I spend much of the rest of my free time working at home or taking walks in the city. When caring for a visiting dog, I devote the majority of my time engaging with them. I do not have a yard and live in an apartment. I have taken the extra effort to provide toys, and a bed for visiting friends. I am attentive to potential hazards and take the extra effort to dog proof before a visitor. The few small plants that I have are pet safe, and I only use pet safe products in my home.
